৪১২৩। দেখুন টিকা ৪১২০। আল্লাহ্র পরিকল্পনা ব্যর্থ করার ক্ষমতা কারও নাই।
আয়াতঃ 037.143
যদি তিনি আল্লাহর তসবীহ পাঠ না করতেন,
Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah,
فَلَوْلَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنْ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ
Falawla annahu kana mina almusabbiheena
YUSUFALI: Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah,
PICKTHAL: And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah)
SHAKIR: But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us),
KHALIFA: If it were not that he resorted to meditation (on God),
১৪৩। সে যদি [ অনুতপ্ত হয়ে ] আল্লাহ্র মহিমা ঘোষণা না করতো ৪১২৪,
৪১২৪। ইউনুস নবী মাছের পেটের মধ্যে নিচ্ছিদ্র অন্ধকারে , প্রতিকূল অবস্থানে অনুধাবনে সক্ষম হলো যে, আল্লাহ্র পরিকল্পনা ব্যর্থ করার ক্ষমতা কারও নাই। আল্লাহ্ সর্বশক্তিমান।তিনি ক্রন্দন করতে লাগলেন, ” আল্লাহ্র ব্যতীত উপাস্য নাই , তুমি মহান ,আমি গুনাহ্গার।” [২১ : ৮৭।

তবে তাঁকে কেয়ামত দিবস পর্যন্ত মাছের পেটেই থাকতে হত।
He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection.
لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطْنِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
Lalabitha fee batnihi ila yawmi yubAAathoona
YUSUFALI: He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection.
PICKTHAL: He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised;
SHAKIR: He would certainly have tarried in its belly to the day when they are raised.
KHALIFA: he would have stayed in its belly until the Day of Resurrection.
১৪৪। তবে সে পুণরুত্থান দিবস পর্যন্ত মাছের পেটেই থাকতো ৪১২৫।
৪১২৫। এই লাইনটির অর্থ ইউনুস নবীর কবর হতো মাছের পেট। সাধারণ মানুষের কবর হয়ে থাকে মাটির অভ্যন্তরে কিন্তু ইউনুস নবীকে যেহেতু মাছ গিলে ফেলেছিলো , সুতারাং পুনরুত্থান না ঘটা পর্যন্ত তার অবস্থান সেখানেই ঘটতো।

অতঃপর আমি তাঁকে এক বিস্তীর্ণ-বিজন প্রান্তরে নিক্ষেপ করলাম, তখন তিনি ছিলেন রুগ্ন।
But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness,
فَنَبَذْنَاهُ بِالْعَرَاء وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌ
Fanabathnahu bialAAara-i wahuwa saqeemun
YUSUFALI: But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness,
PICKTHAL: Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick;
SHAKIR: Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick.
KHALIFA: We had him thrown up into the desert, exhausted.
১৪৫। কিন্তু আমি তাঁকে নগ্ন [ বৃক্ষ লতা শূন্য ] তীরে [ মাছের পেট থেকে ] পীড়িত অবস্থায় নিক্ষেপ করলাম ৪১২৬।
৪১২৬। মাছের পেটে আলো বাতাসহীন অন্ধকারে পাচকরসের সংস্পর্শে সম্ভবতঃ তিনি অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়েন। তিনি আকুলভাবে মুক্ত বাতাসে নিঃশ্বাস নিতে চান – একটু বাতাস একটু নির্জনতা তার অত্যন্ত প্রয়োজন হয়ে পড়ে। অনুতাপের মাধ্যমে তিনি আল্লাহ্র ক্ষমা লাভ করেন এবং মাছ তাকে উগরে দেবার পরে আল্লাহ্ তাকে নির্জন মুক্ত প্রান্তরে আনায়ন করেন। সেখানে তিনি মৃতবৎ পড়ে থাকেন এবং আল্লাহ্র করুণায় তার উপরে কুমড়া গাছের বিস্তৃতি ঘটে। লাউ ও কুমড়ো জাতীয় গাছ খুব সহজেই কোনও কিছুর উপরে ছড়িয়ে যেতে পারে। সম্ভবতঃ সেখানে ছিলো ছায়াঘেরা স্বাদু ফলের গাছ যা তাকে ছায়া ও খাদ্য উভয়ই সরবারহ করে থাকে।
আয়াতঃ 037.146
আমি তাঁর উপর এক লতাবিশিষ্ট বৃক্ষ উদগত করলাম।
And We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind.
وَأَنبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةً مِّن يَقْطِينٍ
Waanbatna AAalayhi shajaratan min yaqteenin
YUSUFALI: And We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind.
PICKTHAL: And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him;
SHAKIR: And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant.
KHALIFA: We had a tree of edible fruit grown for him.
১৪৬। এবং পরে আমি তার উপরে এক কুমড়ো জাতীয় গাছকে বিস্তৃত করে দেই।
১৪৭। তাকে আমি একলক্ষ বা ততোধিক লোকের [ প্রচারের ] কাজে প্রেরণ করি ৪১২৭।
৪১২৭। আল্লাহ্ তাকে পুণরায় নিনেভা নগরীতে প্রেরণ করেন। নিনেভা নগরী ছিলো এক বিশাল নগরী। ওল্ড টেস্টামেন্ট অনুযায়ী “Nineva was an exceeding great city of three days ‘ journey” [ Jonah iii 3 ] ; “Wherein are more than six score thousand person” [ Jonah iv 11 ] । নিনেভা নগরীর পরিধি বলা হয়ে থাকে ৪৫ মাইল এবং লোক সংখ্যা ছিলো এক লক্ষ বিশ হাজারের উপরে।

এবং তাঁকে, লক্ষ বা ততোধিক লোকের প্রতি প্রেরণ করলাম।
And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more.
وَأَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَى مِئَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ
Waarsalnahu ila mi-ati alfin aw yazeedoona
