মানুষের ইতিহাস – ইউভাল নোয়াহ হারারি

যে একটা কাজ আমরা করতে পারি, সেটা হলো বিজ্ঞানের গতিপথকে কিছুটা হলেও আমরা প্রভাবিত করতে পারি। যেহেতু খুব শীঘ্রই আমরা আমাদের ইচ্ছা ও চাহিদাকে নির্মাণ করাও শিখে যাবো, সুতরাং তখন ‘আমরা ভবিষ্যতে কী হতে চাই?’ এ প্রশ্নটা হবে অবান্তর। তখনকার গুরুত্বপূর্ণ প্রশ্ন হবে ‘আমরা নিজের ভেতর কী হবার চাহিদা তৈরি করতে চাই?’ এই প্রশ্নটা দেখেও এখনও যারা আতঙ্কে শিউরে ওঠেননি, তারা সম্ভবতঃ এখনও ব্যাপারটি নিয়ে বোঝবার মত করে ভাবেননি।
