১০। অতঃপর সে তাঁর প্রভুকে ডেকে বলেছিলো, ” আমি তো অসহায়, অতএব তুমি [আমাকে ] সাহায্য কর।” ৫১৩৬
৫১৩৬। নূহ্ নবী মন্দ লোকদের বিরুদ্ধাচারণে তাঁর প্রতি অর্পিত দায়িত্ব পূর্ণ করতে পারেন নাই। তাঁর সকল কর্ম প্রচেষ্টা যখন বিফল হলো, তিনি তখন আল্লাহ্র নিকট সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করেন, যার ফলে পাপীরা ধ্বংস হয়ে যায়।

তখন আমি খুলে দিলাম আকাশের দ্বার প্রবল বারিবর্ষণের মাধ্যমে।
So We opened the gates of heaven with water pouring forth.
فَفَتَحْنَا أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاء بِمَاء مُّنْهَمِرٍ
Fafatahna abwaba alssama-i bima-in munhamirin
YUSUFALI: So We opened the gates of heaven, with water pouring forth.
PICKTHAL: Then opened We the gates of heaven with pouring water
SHAKIR: So We opened the gates of the cloud with water pouring
KHALIFA: We then opened the gates of the sky, pouring water.
১১। সুতারাং মুষলধারে বৃষ্টির সাথে আমি আকাশের দুয়ার খুলে দিলাম।
১২। এবং মৃত্তিকা থেকে উৎসরিত করলাম প্রস্রবণ। সুতারাং [সকল ] পানি মিলিত হলো [এবং স্ফীত হলো ] এক নির্ধারিত সীমা পর্যন্ত ৫১৩৭
৫১৩৭। উপর থেকে প্রবল বারী বর্ষণ এবং মাটির নীচ থেকে প্রবল বেগে পানি উৎক্ষিপ্ত হতে থাকে ফলে মহাপ্লাবনের সৃষ্টি হয়।
আয়াতঃ 054.012
এবং ভুমি থেকে প্রবাহিত করলাম প্রস্রবণ। অতঃপর সব পানি মিলিত হল এক পরিকম্পিত কাজে।
And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs. So the waters (of the heaven and the earth) met for a matter predestined.
وَفَجَّرْنَا الْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا فَالْتَقَى الْمَاء عَلَى أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ
Wafajjarna al-arda AAuyoonan failtaqa almao AAala amrin qad qudira
YUSUFALI: And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs, so the waters met (and rose) to the extent decreed.
PICKTHAL: And caused the earth to gush forth springs, so that the waters met for a predestined purpose.
SHAKIR: And We made water to flow forth in the land in springs, so the water gathered together according to a measure already ordained.
KHALIFA: And we caused springs to gush out of the earth. The waters met to effect a predetermined decision.
১১। সুতারাং মুষলধারে বৃষ্টির সাথে আমি আকাশের দুয়ার খুলে দিলাম।
১২। এবং মৃত্তিকা থেকে উৎসরিত করলাম প্রস্রবণ। সুতারাং [সকল ] পানি মিলিত হলো [এবং স্ফীত হলো ] এক নির্ধারিত সীমা পর্যন্ত ৫১৩৭

আমি নূহকে আরোহণ করালাম এক কাষ্ঠ ও পেরেক নির্মিত জলযানে।
And We carried him on a (ship) made of planks and nails,
وَحَمَلْنَاهُ عَلَى ذَاتِ أَلْوَاحٍ وَدُسُرٍ
Wahamalnahu AAala thati alwahin wadusurin
YUSUFALI: But We bore him on an (Ark) made of broad planks and caulked with palm-fibre:
PICKTHAL: And We carried him upon a thing of planks and nails,
SHAKIR: And We bore him on that which was made of planks and nails
KHALIFA: We carried him on a watercraft made of logs and ropes.
১৩। কিন্তু আমি তাকে প্রশস্ত তক্তা ও পাম গাছের আঁশ দ্বারা পানি নিরোধক ভাবে প্রস্তুত [ নৌকাতে ] বহন করেছিলাম ৫১৩৮।
৫১৩৮। “Dusur” বহু বচনে “Disar” অর্থাৎ ‘পাম’ গাছের আঁশ। বলা হয়েছে এই আঁশকে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে নৌকা নির্মানের জন্য। অনেকে মনে করেন পেরেক সদৃশ্য তক্তা যা নৌকা তৈরীতে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছিলো। সে যুগের নৌকা তৈরীর প্রণালী এ যুগের অনুবাদকদের অনুধাবন করা অসম্ভব ব্যাপার।

যা চলত আমার দৃষ্টি সামনে। এটা তার পক্ষ থেকে প্রতিশোধ ছিল, যাকে প্রত্যখ্যান করা হয়েছিল।
Floating under Our Eyes, a reward for him who had been rejected!
تَجْرِي بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَاء لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ
Tajree bi-aAAyunina jazaan liman kana kufira
YUSUFALI: She floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)!
PICKTHAL: That ran (upon the waters) in Our sight, as a reward for him who was rejected.
SHAKIR: Sailing, before Our eyes, a reward for him who was denied.
KHALIFA: It ran under our watchful eyes; a reward for one who was rejected.
১৪। যা ভেসে বেড়াত আমার প্রত্যক্ষ তত্ত্বাবধানে ; যে প্রত্যাখ্যাত হয়েছিলো, [ অবজ্ঞার সাথে ], ইহা ছিলো তারই পুরষ্কার ৫১৩৯।
৫১৩৯। হযরত নূহ্ এর ঘটনা হচ্ছে আল্লাহ্র প্রতি নিবেদিত বান্দার আল্লাহ্র করুণা ও দয়া লাভের সাক্ষ্য।

আমি একে এক নিদর্শনরূপে রেখে দিয়েছি। অতএব, কোন চিন্তাশীল আছে কি?
And indeed, We have left this as a sign, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)?
