যখন তাদের কাছে কোরআন পাঠ করা হয়, তখন সেজদা করে না।
And when the Qur’ân is recited to them, they fall not prostrate,
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ
Wa-itha quri-a AAalayhimu alqur-anu la yasjudoona
YUSUFALI: And when the Qur’an is read to them, they fall not prostrate,
PICKTHAL: And, when the Qur’an is recited unto them, worship not (Allah)?
SHAKIR: And when the Quran is recited to them they do not make obeisance?
KHALIFA: And when the Quran is recited to them, they do not fall prostrate.
২১। যখন তাদের নিকট কুর-আন পাঠ করা হয় কেন তারা সেজ্দায় পতিত হয় না ? ৬০৪৯
৬০৪৯। ‘সিজ্দা ‘ অর্থ ভক্তি সহকারে আল্লাহ্র প্রতি সম্মান প্রদর্শন করা।
আয়াতঃ 084.022
বরং কাফেররা এর প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে।
Nay, (on the contrary), those who disbelieve, belie (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and whatever he brought, i.e. this Qur’ân and Islâmic Monotheism, etc.).
بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُكَذِّبُونَ
Bali allatheena kafaroo yukaththiboona
YUSUFALI: But on the contrary the Unbelievers reject (it).
PICKTHAL: Nay, but those who disbelieve will deny;
SHAKIR: Nay! those who disbelieve give the lie to the truth.
KHALIFA: This is because those who disbelieved are rejecting (the Quran).
২২। উপরন্তু, অবিশ্বাসীরা [ ইহা ] প্রত্যাখান করে।
২৩। তারা [ তাদের অন্তরে ] যা গোপন করে, সে সম্বন্ধে আল্লাহ্ পূর্ণ জ্ঞান রাখেন।
২৪। সুতারাং উহাদের ভয়াবহ শাস্তির খবর দাও,
২৫। তারা ব্যতীত, যারা বিশ্বাস করে ও সৎ কাজ করে। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে নিরবচ্ছিন্ন পুরষ্কার ৬০৫০
৬০৫০। দেখুন [ ৪১ : ৮] আয়াত।
আয়াতঃ 084.023
তারা যা সংরক্ষণ করে, আল্লাহ তা জানেন।
And Allâh knows best what they gather (of good and bad deeds),
وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ
WaAllahu aAAlamu bima yooAAoona
YUSUFALI: But Allah has full knowledge of what they secrete (in their breasts)
PICKTHAL: And Allah knoweth best what they are hiding.
SHAKIR: And Allah knows best what they hide,
KHALIFA: GOD is fully aware of their innermost thoughts.
২২। উপরন্তু, অবিশ্বাসীরা [ ইহা ] প্রত্যাখান করে।
২৩। তারা [ তাদের অন্তরে ] যা গোপন করে, সে সম্বন্ধে আল্লাহ্ পূর্ণ জ্ঞান রাখেন।
২৪। সুতারাং উহাদের ভয়াবহ শাস্তির খবর দাও,
২৫। তারা ব্যতীত, যারা বিশ্বাস করে ও সৎ কাজ করে। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে নিরবচ্ছিন্ন পুরষ্কার ৬০৫০
৬০৫০। দেখুন [ ৪১ : ৮] আয়াত।
আয়াতঃ 084.024
অতএব, তাদেরকে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তির সুসংবাদ দিন।
So announce to them a painful torment.
فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
Fabashshirhum biAAathabin aleemin
YUSUFALI: So announce to them a Penalty Grievous,
PICKTHAL: So give them tidings of a painful doom,
SHAKIR: So announce to them a painful punishment~
KHALIFA: Promise them painful retribution.
২২। উপরন্তু, অবিশ্বাসীরা [ ইহা ] প্রত্যাখান করে।
২৩। তারা [ তাদের অন্তরে ] যা গোপন করে, সে সম্বন্ধে আল্লাহ্ পূর্ণ জ্ঞান রাখেন।
২৪। সুতারাং উহাদের ভয়াবহ শাস্তির খবর দাও,
২৫। তারা ব্যতীত, যারা বিশ্বাস করে ও সৎ কাজ করে। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে নিরবচ্ছিন্ন পুরষ্কার ৬০৫০

আয়াতঃ 084.025
কিন্তু যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে অফুরন্ত পুরস্কার।
Save those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them is a reward that will never come to an end (i.e. Paradise).
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ
Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati lahum ajrun ghayru mamnoonin
YUSUFALI: Except to those who believe and work righteous deeds: For them is a Reward that will never fail.
PICKTHAL: Save those who believe and do good works, for theirs is a reward unfailing.
SHAKIR: Except those who believe and do good; for them is a reward that shall never be cut off.
KHALIFA: As for those who believed and led a righteous life, they receive a recompense that is well-deserved.
