আয়াতঃ 049.016
বলুনঃ তোমরা কি তোমাদের ধর্ম পরায়ণতা সম্পর্কে আল্লাহকে অবহিত করছ? অথচ আল্লাহ জানেন যা কিছু আছে ভূমন্ডলে এবং যা কিছু আছে নভোমন্ডলে। আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়ে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
Say: ”Will you inform Allâh about your religion? While Allâh knows all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and Allâh is All-Aware of everything.
قُلْ أَتُعَلِّمُونَ اللَّهَ بِدِينِكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
Qul atuAAallimoona Allaha bideenikum waAllahu yaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati wama fee al-ardi waAllahu bikulli shay-in AAaleemun
YUSUFALI: Say: “What! Will ye instruct Allah about your religion? But Allah knows all that is in the heavens and on earth: He has full knowledge of all things.
PICKTHAL: Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Would ye teach Allah your religion, when Allah knoweth all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and Allah is Aware of all things?
SHAKIR: Say: Do you apprise Allah of your religion, and Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth; and Allah is Cognizant of all things.
KHALIFA: Say, “Are you informing GOD about your religion? GOD knows everything in the heavens and the earth. GOD is Omniscient.”
১৬। বল, ” কি ! তোমরা কি তোমাদের দ্বীন সম্বন্ধে আল্লাহ্কে শিক্ষা দিতেছ ৪৯৩৬ ? অথচ আল্লাহ্ আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সব সম্বন্ধে অবহিত। সকল বিষয় সম্বন্ধে আল্লাহ্র পরিপূর্ণ জ্ঞান রয়েছে। ”
৪৯৩৬। এই আয়াতটির আবেদন বিশ্বজনীন, যুগ কাল অতিক্রান্ত। মরুবাসী আরবেরা মৌখিকভাবে ঈমান এনে সম্ভবতঃ নিজেদের প্রকৃত মুসলিম বলে মনে করতো। তাদের বলা হয়েছে যে, মৌখিক ঈমানের কোনও মূল্য আল্লাহ্র কাছে নাই। বাস্তব জীবনে কর্মের মাধ্যমে ঈমানের পরীক্ষা দিতে হয়। কার অন্তরের ঈমান খাঁটি আর কার ঈমান শুধুমাত্র মৌখিক, আল্লাহ্ তা সম্যক অবগত। কারণ আল্লাহ্ মানুষের অন্তরের অন্তঃস্থলের সকল উদ্দেশ্য গোপন চিন্তা, ভাবনা, সব কিছু খোলা বইএর ন্যায় পাঠ করতে পারেন। আল্লাহকে প্রতারিত করার ক্ষমতা পৃথিবীতে কারও নাই। বাহ্যিকভাবে ধার্মিকতার লেবেলে সাধারণ মানুষকে প্রতারিত করা গেলেও আল্লাহকে প্রতারিত করা সম্ভব নয়। এত যুগ আগে মরুবাসী আরবদের জন্য যে সর্তকবাণী আল্লাহ্ প্রেরণ করেছিলেন, আজও মুসলিম নামধারী, ধার্মিকতার লেবেল আঁটা বহু মুসলমানের জন্য তা সমভাবে প্রযোজ্য।
আয়াতঃ 049.017
তারা মুসলমান হয়ে আপনাকে ধন্য করেছে মনে করে। বলুন, তোমরা মুসলমান হয়ে আমাকে ধন্য করেছ মনে করো না। বরং আল্লাহ ঈমানের পথে পরিচালিত করে তোমাদেরকে ধন্য করেছেন, যদি তোমরা সত্যনিষ্ঠ হয়ে থাক।
They regard as favour upon you (O Muhammad SAW) that they have embraced Islâm. Say: ”Count not your Islâm as a favour upon me. Nay, but Allâh has conferred a favour upon you, that He has guided you to the Faith, if you indeed are true.
يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا قُل لَّا تَمُنُّوا عَلَيَّ إِسْلَامَكُم بَلِ اللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَاكُمْ لِلْإِيمَانِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Yamunnoona AAalayka an aslamoo qul la tamunnoo AAalayya islamakum bali Allahu yamunnu AAalaykum an hadakum lil-eemani in kuntum sadiqeena
YUSUFALI: They impress on thee as a favour that they have embraced Islam. Say, “Count not your Islam as a favour upon me: Nay, Allah has conferred a favour upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if ye be true and sincere.
PICKTHAL: They make it a favour unto thee (Muhammad) that they have surrendered (unto Him). Say: Deem not your Surrender a favour unto me; but Allah doth confer a favour on you, inasmuch as He hath led you to the Faith, if ye are earnest.
SHAKIR: They think that they lay you under an obligation by becoming Muslims. Say: Lay me not under obligation by your Islam: rather Allah lays you under an obligation by guiding you to the faith if you are truthful.
KHALIFA: They act as if they are doing you a favor by embracing Submission! Say, “You are not doing me any favors by embracing Submission. GOD is the One who is doing you a great favor by guiding you to the faith, if you are sincere.”
১৭। তারা দাবী করে যে, তারা ইসলাম গ্রহণ করে তোমার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছে ৪৯৩৭। তুমি বল, “তোমাদের ইসলাম কবুল দ্বারা আমার প্রতি কোন প্রকার অনুগ্রহ করেছ এমন দাবী করো না। যদি তোমাদের কথা সত্য হয়, তবে আল্লাহ্-ই বরং তোমাদের ঈমানের দিকে হেদায়েত করে অনুগ্রহ করেছেন।
