YUSUFALI: It is He Who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the Believers, that they may add faith to their faith;- for to Allah belong the Forces of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom;-
PICKTHAL: He it is Who sent down peace of reassurance into the hearts of the believers that they might add faith unto their faith. Allah’s are the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is ever Knower, Wise –
SHAKIR: He it is Who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the believers that they might have more of faith added to their faith– and Allah’s are the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is Knowing, Wise–
KHALIFA: He is the One who places contentment into the hearts of believers to augment more faith, in addition to their faith. To GOD belongs all forces of the heavens and the earth. GOD is Omniscient, Most Wise.

০৪। তিনিই বিশ্বাসীদের অন্তরে প্রশান্তি দান করেন ৪৮৬৯, যেনো তারা তাদের ঈমানের উপরে ঈমান যোগ করতে পারে ৪৮৭০; – নিশ্চয়ই আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর বাহিনী সমূহ আল্লাহ্‌রই ৪৮৭১। এবং জ্ঞান ও প্রজ্ঞাতে আল্লাহ্‌ পরিপূর্ণ।

৪৮৬৯। আল্লাহ্‌র অনুগ্রহের বহিঃপ্রকাশ ঘটে হুদায়বিয়া প্রান্তরে রাসুলের সহযোগী ১৪০০-১৫০০ তীর্থযাত্রীর মাঝে। তাঁরা তাদের অন্তরের মাঝে প্রগাঢ় শান্তি, ধীর-স্থির মনোভাব, নিরাপত্তা এবং দুর্জয় সাহসের অনুভূতি উপলব্ধি করেন যদিও তাঁরা ছিলেন নিরস্ত্র এবং বহিঃশত্রুর দ্বারা তাদের আক্রান্ত হওয়া কিছুমাত্র অসম্ভব ছিলো না। এই প্রশান্তি প্রদানের ফলেই প্রবল উস্‌কানি সত্ত্বেও মুসলিমগণ শান্ত ছিলেন এবং এমন সংকটময় মূহুর্তে ধীরস্থির ভাবে দৃঢ়তার সাথে জিহাদের বায়’আত [ ৪৮ : ১৮ ] গ্রহণ করেছিলেন। তা ছিলো তাদের সুদৃঢ় ঈমানের প্রতিদানে আল্লাহ্‌র অনুগ্রহ।

মন্তব্য : মানসিক প্রশান্তি ও আত্মতৃপ্তি আল্লাহ্‌র অসীম অনুগ্রহের দান।

৪৮৭০। বিশ্বাস বা ঈমানের কি স্তর ভেদ আছে ? এরূপ প্রশ্ন শুধুমাত্র কূটতার্কিকরাই করতে পারে। বিশ্বাস বা ঈমান হচ্ছে অন্তরের ধন, বাইরে তা জনসমক্ষে প্রকাশ্য নয়। সুতারাং তর্কের মাধ্যমে এর সমাধান সম্ভব নয়। যারা বিশ্বাসী তারা বিশ্বচরাচরে সর্বক্ষেত্রে সর্ববিষয়ে আল্লাহ্‌র নিদর্শন প্রত্যক্ষ করে থাকে।এসব নিদর্শন সমূহ তাদের বিশ্বাস বা ঈমানকে প্রতিনিয়ত দৃঢ় থেকে দৃঢ়তার পথে, স্তর থেকে স্তরে উন্নত করতে সাহায্য করে। ইসলামের প্রাথমিক যুগে ইসলামের অনুসারীর হত্যা, নির্যাতন, সংঘর্ষের শীকার হন। ইসলামের শত্রুরা যখন হুদায়বিয়া নামক স্থানে সন্ধির শর্তসমূহ আলোচনার জন্য অগ্রসর হয় তখন বিশ্বাসীদের অন্তর আল্লাহ্‌র অনুগ্রহ উপলব্ধিতে আপ্লুত হয়ে পড়ে। তাদের বিশ্বাস বা ঈমান সোনায় মোড়ানো হীরার ন্যায় উজ্জ্বল ভাস্বর হয়ে ওঠে। তাদের ‘ বিশ্বাস ‘ বা ঈমান হয় দৃঢ় থেকে দৃঢ়তর, পরিপূর্ণ, নিশ্চিত – তা ন্যায্যতা প্রতিপাদিত হয়। অন্তরের এই উপলব্ধি, এই পাওয়া তাদের হৃদয়কে আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতায় পরিপূর্ণ করে তোলে।

৪৮৭১। পৃথিবীতে যুদ্ধ সংঘটিত হয় বিভিন্ন বাহিনীর মধ্যে। পার্থিব জগতে সমরাস্ত্র, যোদ্ধা বাহিনী সবই দৃশ্যমান। সশস্ত্র বাহিনী যুদ্ধ করে ঠিকই, কিন্তু অন্তরীক্ষে সর্বশক্তি আল্লাহ্‌র হাতে হয় তা নিয়ন্ত্রিত। যুদ্ধে সুশিক্ষিত সশস্ত্র বাহিনী ও সমরাস্ত্রই শেষ কথা নয়। তাই যদি হতো তবে দ্বিতীয় মহাযুদ্ধের সময়ে জার্মান বাহিনীর নিদারূণ পরাজয় ঘটতো না। আল্লাহ্‌র সহায়তাই হচ্ছে সর্বোচ্চ সহায়তা। মুসলমান যোদ্ধারা সর্বদা সেই সর্বশক্তিমান, যিনি আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর বাহিনী সমূহের অধিপতি ; তারই সাহায্যপ্রার্থী হয়ে যুদ্ধ করে থাকে। আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতি নির্ভরতার এ এক উজ্জ্বল দৃষ্টান্ত। প্রকৃত মোমেন বান্দারা জীবনের সকল ক্ষেত্রেই আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতি পরিপূর্ণ নির্ভরশীল হন।

আয়াতঃ 048.005

ঈমান এজন্যে বেড়ে যায়, যাতে তিনি ঈমানদার পুরুষ ও ঈমানদার নারীদেরকে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করান, যার তলদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত। সেথায় তারা চিরকাল বসবাস করবে এবং যাতে তিনি তাদের পাপ মোচন করেন। এটাই আল্লাহর কাছে মহাসাফল্য।
That He may admit the believing men and the believing women to Gardens under which rivers flow (i.e. Paradise), to abide therein forever, and to expiate from them their sins, and that is with Allâh, a supreme success,

لِيُدْخِلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عِندَ اللَّهِ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا
Liyudkhila almu/mineena waalmu/minati jannatin tajree min tahtiha al-anharu khalideena feeha wayukaffira AAanhum sayyi-atihim wakana thalika AAinda Allahi fawzan AAatheeman

YUSUFALI: That He may admit the men and women who believe, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein for aye, and remove their ills from them;- and that is, in the sight of Allah, the highest achievement (for man),-
PICKTHAL: That He may bring the believing men and the believing women into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide, and may remit from them their evil deeds – That, in the sight of Allah, is the supreme triumph –
SHAKIR: That He may cause the believing men and the believing women to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein and remove from them their evil; and that is a grand achievement with Allah
KHALIFA: He will certainly admit the believing men and women into gardens with flowing streams, wherein they abide forever. He will remit their sins. This is, in the sight of GOD, a great triumph.
