সূরা মুহাম্মদ

আয়াতঃ 047.001

যারা কুফরী করে এবং আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে, আল্লাহ তাদের সকল কর্ম ব্যর্থ করে দেন।
Those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allâh, and in the Message of Prophet Muhammad SAW ], and hinder (men) from the Path of Allâh (Islâmic Monotheism), He will render their deeds vain .

الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَضَلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ
Allatheena kafaroo wasaddoo AAan sabeeli Allahi adalla aAAmalahum

YUSUFALI: Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah,- their deeds will Allah render astray (from their mark).
PICKTHAL: Those who disbelieve and turn (men) from the way of Allah, He rendereth their actions vain.
SHAKIR: (As for) those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah’s way, He shall render their works ineffective.
KHALIFA: Those who disbelieve and repel from the path of GOD, He nullifies their works.

০১। যারা আল্লাহ্‌কে প্রত্যাখান করে এবং আল্লাহ্‌র রাস্তা থেকে [ লোকদের ] নিবৃত্ত করে, – তিনি তাদের সকল কাজ ব্যর্থ করে দেবেন ৪৮১৭।

৪৮১৭। যারা আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে না এবং অন্যকেও তাদের পথে প্রভাবিত করে ; তাদের সম্বন্ধেই এই আয়াতে বলা হয়েছে। তাদের কর্মপ্রচেষ্টা কখনই সফলতা লাভ করবে না। কারণ সকল শক্তির মূল উৎস আল্লাহ্‌। পৃথিবীর কোনও কিছুই তাঁকে অতিক্রম করে যেতে পারবে না। যদি মন্দ লোক সত্যের বিরোধিতা করে এবং অন্যকে সত্য গ্রহণ না করতে প্রভাবিত করার প্রয়াস পায় তবে তাদের কৃতকর্মের ফল তাদের প্রত্যাশার বিপরীতই ঘটবে।

আয়াতঃ 047.002

আর যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে, সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে এবং তাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে মুহাম্মদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ সত্যে বিশ্বাস করে, আল্লাহ তাদের মন্দ কর্মসমূহ মার্জনা করেন এবং তাদের অবস্থা ভাল করে দেন।
But those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and believe in that which is sent down to Muhammad (SAW), for it is the truth from their Lord, He will expiate from them their sins, and will make good their state.

وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَآمَنُوا بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ كَفَّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَأَصْلَحَ بَالَهُمْ’
Waallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati waamanoo bima nuzzila AAala muhammadin wahuwa alhaqqu min rabbihim kaffara AAanhum sayyi-atihim waaslaha balahum

YUSUFALI: But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to Muhammad – for it is the Truth from their Lord,- He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition.
PICKTHAL: And those who believe and do good works and believe in that which is revealed unto Muhammad – and it is the truth from their Lord – He riddeth them of their ill-deeds and improveth their state.
SHAKIR: And (as for) those who believe and do good, and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad, and it is the very truth from their Lord, He will remove their evil from them and improve their condition.
KHALIFA: Those who believe and work righteousness, and believe in what was sent down to Muhammad – which is the truth from their Lord – He remits their sins, and blesses them with contentment.

০২। কিন্তু যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকাজ করে, এবং মুহাম্মদের প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ করা হয়েছে তা বিশ্বাস করে – যেহেতু তা তাদের প্রভুর নিকট থেকে [আগত ] সত্য, – তিনি তাদের মন্দগুলি দূর করে দেবেন এবং তাদের অবস্থার উন্নতি করবেন ৪৮১৮।

৪৮১৮। ‘Bal’ শব্দটির দ্বারা পারিপার্শ্বিক অবস্থা ও মানসিক অবস্থাকে বোঝানো হয়েছে। এখানে উভয়বিধ অবস্থাকে বোঝানো হয়েছে। প্রথম অর্থে আল্লাহ্‌ মোমেন বান্দাদের ইহকাল ও পরকালের সকল অবস্থাকে কল্যাণে ভরিয়ে দেন। দ্বিতীয় অর্থে আল্লাহ্‌ মোমেন বান্দাদের মানসিক অবস্থান পরিবর্তন করে দেন। ফলে মোমেন বান্দার পক্ষে আল্লাহ্‌র সত্যকে অনুধাবন করা ও তার অনুসরণ করা অনেক সহজ হয়।

আয়াতঃ 047.003

টা এ কারণে যে, যারা কাফের, তারা বাতিলের অনুসরণ করে এবং যারা বিশ্বাসী, তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার নিকট থেকে আগত সত্যের অনুসরণ করে। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ মানুষের জন্যে তাদের দৃষ্টান্তসমূহ বর্ণনা করেন।
That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allâh set forth their parables for mankind.

ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا اتَّبَعُوا الْبَاطِلَ وَأَنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّبَعُوا الْحَقَّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ كَذَلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ أَمْثَالَهُمْ
Thalika bi-anna allatheena kafaroo ittabaAAoo albatila waanna allatheena amanoo ittabaAAoo alhaqqa min rabbihim kathalika yadribu Allahu lilnnasi amthalahum
