সূরা যুমার বাংলা

আয়াতঃ 039.064

বলুন, হে মুর্খরা, তোমরা কি আমাকে আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্যের এবাদত করতে আদেশ করছ?
Say: “Is it some one other than Allah that ye order me to worship, O ye ignorant ones?”

قُلْ أَفَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ تَأْمُرُونِّي أَعْبُدُ أَيُّهَا الْجَاهِلُونَ
Qul afaghayra Allahi ta/muroonnee aAAbudu ayyuha aljahiloona

YUSUFALI: Say: “Is it some one other than Allah that ye order me to worship, O ye ignorant ones?”
PICKTHAL: Say (O Muhammad, to the disbelievers): Do ye bid me serve other than Allah? O ye fools!
SHAKIR: Say: What! Do you then bid me serve others than Allah, O ignorant men?
KHALIFA: Say, “Is it other than GOD you exhort me to worship, O you ignorant ones?”

৬৪। তুমি বল, ” হে মূর্খগণ ! তবুও কি তোমরা আমাকে আল্লাহ্‌ ভিন্ন অন্য কাউকে উপাসনা করতে আদেশ করছ ?” ৪৩৩৭

৪৩৩৭। আল্লাহ্‌ তাঁর নবীকে, নবীর সমালোচকদের প্রতি এই উক্তি করার হুকুম দেন। আয়াতগুরি শ্লেষাচ্ছলে ব্যক্ত করা হয়েছে। আয়াতগুলির সারমর্ম হচ্ছেঃ ” হে অবিশ্বাসীরা তোমরা বিদ্রোহী ও উদ্ধত , তোমরা আমাকে হুকুম কর কার এবাদত করতে হবে ? কিন্তু তোমরা কে ? তোমাদের তো প্রকৃত কোনও জ্ঞানই নাই। তোমরা তো অজ্ঞ। আমি তো সর্বশক্তিমান আল্লাহ্‌র নিকট থেকে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত। ঠিক একই ভাবে পূর্ববর্তী রসুলরাও দায়িত্ব প্রাপ্ত হয়েছিলেন। তাঁদেরও দায়িত্ব ছিলো প্রচার করা যে, ১) আল্লাহ্‌র একত্বের ঘোষণাই হচ্ছে প্রকৃত সত্য ; এবং ২) যদি তুমি আল্লাহ্‌ ব্যতীত অন্য কিছুর এবাদত কর, তবে তোমাকে সৃষ্টির মূল উদ্দেশ্য ব্যর্থ হয়ে যাবে। পৃথিবীতে জীবনকালে তোমার কোনও কাজই আল্লাহ্‌র কাছে গ্রহণযোগ্য হবে না। তোমার পৃথিবীর জীবনের শিক্ষানবীশকালের কোনও মূল্যই আল্লাহ্‌র কাছে থাকবে না।”

আয়াতঃ 039.065

আপনার প্রতি এবং আপনার পূর্ববর্তীদের পতি প্রত্যাদেশ হয়েছে, যদি আল্লাহর শরীক স্থির করেন, তবে আপনার কর্ম নিষ্ফল হবে এবং আপনি ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের একজন হবেন।
But it has already been revealed to thee,- as it was to those before thee,- “If thou wert to join (gods with Allah., truly fruitless will be thy work (in life), and thou wilt surely be in the ranks of those who lose (all spiritual good)”.

وَلَقَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Walaqad oohiya ilayka wa-ila allatheena min qablika la-in ashrakta layahbatanna AAamaluka walatakoonanna mina alkhasireena

YUSUFALI: But it has already been revealed to thee,- as it was to those before thee,- “If thou wert to join (gods with Allah), truly fruitless will be thy work (in life), and thou wilt surely be in the ranks of those who lose (all spiritual good)”.
PICKTHAL: And verily it hath been revealed unto thee as unto those before thee (saying): If thou ascribe a partner to Allah thy work will fail and thou indeed wilt be among the losers.
SHAKIR: And certainly, it has been revealed to you and to those before you: Surely if you associate (with Allah), your work would certainly come to naught and you would certainly be of the losers.
KHALIFA: It has been revealed to you, and to those before you that if you ever commit idol worship, all your works will be nullified, and you will be with the losers.

৬৫। কিন্তু তোমার প্রতি ও তোমার পূর্ববর্তীদের প্রতি প্রত্যাদেশ পাঠানো হয়েছে যে, ৪৩৩৮ , ” যদি তুমি আল্লাহ্‌র সাথে শরীক কর তবে, তোমার [ জীবনের ] সব কাজ অবশ্যই বৃথা যাবে ৪৩৩৯ , এবং যারা [আধ্যাত্মিক ভাবে ] ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ তুমি অবশ্যই তাদের শ্রেণীভূক্ত হবে। ”

৪৩৩৮। আল্লাহ্‌র একত্বের ঘোষণা সব নবী ও রসুলগণ যুগে যুগে করে এসেছেন। পৃথিবী সৃষ্টিলগ্ন থেকে এই এক সত্যকেই পুনঃপুনঃ পৃথিবীতে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে। ইসলাম কোনও নূতন ধর্ম নয়। সেই পুরানো সত্যকেই যুগোপযোগী করে প্রচার করা হয়েছে।

৪৩৩৯। আল্লাহ্‌ ব্যতীত অন্য কিছুর উপাসনার অর্থই হচ্ছে অর্থহীন বস্তুর প্রতি সময় নষ্ট করা। কারণ মানুষের আত্মার সৃষ্টি শুধুমাত্র আল্লাহ্‌র এবাদতের জন্য। এখানেই তার পরিপূর্ণতা , এখানেই তার সিদ্ধিলাভ এখানেই তার মুক্তি। যদি কেউ তা না করে তবে সে স্বধর্মচ্যুত হয় এবং জীবনের মূল উদ্দেশ্যকে উপলব্ধিতে অক্ষম। সেতো ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ।

আয়াতঃ 039.066

বরং আল্লাহরই এবাদত করুন এবং কৃতজ্ঞদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকুন।
Nay, but worship Allah, and be of those who give thanks.

بَلِ اللَّهَ فَاعْبُدْ وَكُن مِّنْ الشَّاكِرِينَ
Bali Allaha faoAAbud wakun mina alshshakireena

YUSUFALI: Nay, but worship Allah, and be of those who give thanks.
PICKTHAL: Nay, but Allah must thou serve, and be among the thankful!
SHAKIR: Nay! but serve Allah alone and be of the thankful.
KHALIFA: Therefore, you shall worship GOD alone, and be appreciative.
