সূরা যুমার বাংলা

আয়াতঃ 039.056

যাতে কেউ না বলে, হায়, হায়, আল্লাহ সকাশে আমি কর্তব্যে অবহেলা করেছি এবং আমি ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রুপকারীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত ছিলাম।
“Lest the soul should (then) say: ‘Ah! Woe is me!- In that I neglected (my duty) towards Allah, and was but among those who mocked!’-

أَن تَقُولَ نَفْسٌ يَا حَسْرَتَى علَى مَا فَرَّطتُ فِي جَنبِ اللَّهِ وَإِن كُنتُ لَمِنَ السَّاخِرِينَ
An taqoola nafsun ya hasrata AAala ma farrattu fee janbi Allahi wa-in kuntu lamina alssakhireena

YUSUFALI: “Lest the soul should (then) say: ‘Ah! Woe is me!- In that I neglected (my duty) towards Allah, and was but among those who mocked!’-
PICKTHAL: Lest any soul should say: Alas, my grief that I was unmindful of Allah, and I was indeed among the scoffers!
SHAKIR: Lest a soul should say: O woe to me! for what I fell short of my duty to Allah, and most surely I was of those who laughed to scorn;
KHALIFA: Lest a soul may say, “How sorry I am for disregarding GOD’s commandments; I was certainly one of the mockers.”

৫৬। যাতে কাউকে তখন বলতে না হয় , ” হায়! আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতি [ আমার কর্তব্যে ] আমি যে , অবহেলা করেছি সে জন্য আফসোস ৪৩২৭। এবং আমি তো [আল্লাহ্‌র আদেশ ] বিদ্রূপকারীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত ছিলাম।”

৪৩২৭। হাশরের ময়দানে শেষ বিচারের দিনে প্রত্যেকেই পৃথিবীতে তার পাপ-পূণ্য , ভালো -মন্দ , ন্যায়-অন্যায় সকল কৃতকর্মকেই স্মরণ করতে সক্ষম হবে। হাশরের ময়দান আক্ষেপ , দীর্ঘশ্বাস ও দুঃখের বাতাসে পরিপূর্ণ হয়ে পড়বে, কারণ প্রত্যেকেই তার নিজস্ব দোষত্রুটি উপলব্ধি করতে সক্ষম হবে। তাদের অন্তর দুঃখ ভারাক্রান্ত হবে, সেদিনের ভয়াবহতা উপলব্ধি করে তারা বলবে যে, ” পৃথিবীতে আমরা বিশ্বাসে আন্তরিক থাকার পরিবর্তে অবহেলাতে সময় নষ্ট করেছি। প্রকৃত সত্যকে বুঝতে পারার চেষ্টার পরিবর্তে , আমরা তা নিয়ে ব্যঙ্গ বিদ্রূপ করেছি। হায়! এখন আর সংশোধনের সময় নাই।”

আয়াতঃ 039.057

অথবা না বলে, আল্লাহ যদি আমাকে পথপ্রদর্শন করতেন, তবে অবশ্যই আমি পরহেযগারদের একজন হতাম।
“Or (lest) it should say: ‘If only Allah had guided me, I should certainly have been among the righteous!’-

أَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ هَدَانِي لَكُنتُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
Aw taqoola law anna Allaha hadanee lakuntu mina almuttaqeena

YUSUFALI: “Or (lest) it should say: ‘If only Allah had guided me, I should certainly have been among the righteous!’-
PICKTHAL: Or should say: If Allah had but guided me I should have been among the dutiful!
SHAKIR: Or it should say: Had Allah guided me, I would certainly have been of those who guard (against evil);
KHALIFA: Or say, “Had GOD guided me, I would have been with the righteous.”

৫৭। অথবা কেহ যেনো না বলে , “যদি আল্লাহ্‌ আমাকে পথ প্রদর্শন করতেন , তবে আমি নিশ্চয়ই পূণ্যাত্মাদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হতাম ৪৩২৮। ”

৪৩২৮। দ্বিতীয়তঃ শেষ বিচারের দিনে পাপীদের একদল এ কথা বলার সুযোগ যেনো না পায় যে, ” আল্লাহ্‌ আমাকে পথ প্রদর্শন করলে আমি তো অবশ্যই মুত্তাকীদিগের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হতাম। আল্লাহ্‌ পথ প্রদর্শন না করলে আমি কি করবো ইত্যাদি” এটা হবে মিথ্যা অজুহাত। কারণ পূর্বাহ্নেই আল্লাহ্‌ তাদের প্রত্যাদেশের মাধ্যমে সঠিক পথের পথ নির্দ্দেশ প্রেরণ করেছেন। সুতারাং এ সব অজুহাত গ্রহণযোগ্য হবে না।

আয়াতঃ 039.058

অথবা আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করার সময় না বলে, যদি কোনরূপে একবার ফিরে যেতে পারি, তবে আমি সৎকর্মপরায়ণ হয়ে যাব।
“Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: ‘If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!’

أَوْ تَقُولَ حِينَ تَرَى الْعَذَابَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِي كَرَّةً فَأَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Aw taqoola heena tara alAAathaba law anna lee karratan faakoona mina almuhsineena

YUSUFALI: “Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: ‘If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!’
PICKTHAL: Or should say, when it seeth the doom: Oh, that I had but a second chance that I might be among the righteous!
SHAKIR: Or it should say when it sees the punishment: Were there only a returning for me, I should be of the doers of good.
KHALIFA: Or say, when it sees the retribution, “If I get another chance, I will work righteousness.”

৫৮। অথবা [ প্রকৃত ] শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ করলে কাউকে যেনো বলতে না হয়, ৪৩২৯। ” আমাকে যদি আর একবার সুযোগ দেয়া হতো , তাহলে অবশ্যই আমি সৎকর্মশীলদের অন্তর্গত হতাম।”
