আয়াতঃ 038.019

আর পক্ষীকুলকেও, যারা তার কাছে সমবেত হত। সবাই ছিল তাঁর প্রতি প্রত্যাবর্তনশীল।
And the birds gathered (in assemblies): all with him did turn (to Allah..

وَالطَّيْرَ مَحْشُورَةً كُلٌّ لَّهُ أَوَّابٌ
Waalttayra mahshooratan kullun lahu awwabun

YUSUFALI: And the birds gathered (in assemblies): all with him did turn (to Allah).
PICKTHAL: And the birds assembled; all were turning unto Him.
SHAKIR: And the birds gathered together; all joined in singing with him.
KHALIFA: Also the birds were committed to serve him; all were obedient to him.

১৯। এবং পাখীদের [ সভায় ] সমবেত করতাম , যারা প্রত্যেকে [আল্লাহ্‌র ] অভিমুখী হতো ৪১৬৯।

৪১৬৯। এই আয়াতটি পূর্বের [ ১৭ নং ] আয়াতেরই প্রতিধ্বনি বা ধারাবাহিকতা। আরবী শব্দ ‘Awwab’ এই উভয় আয়াতেই লক্ষ্য করা যায় যার বাংলা অনুবাদ হয়েছে অভিমুখী। এই শব্দটির দ্বারা সূরাটির সারাংশ বা মূল স্পন্দনকে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে। সূরাটির মূল বক্তব্য হচ্ছে আল্লাহ্‌র প্রশংসা ও প্রার্থনায় নিমগ্ন হও। কারণ তা হচ্ছে সকল পার্থিব জ্ঞান ও ক্ষমতার থেকে বহু উর্দ্ধে।

আয়াতঃ 038.020

আমি তাঁর সাম্রাজ্যকে সুদৃঢ় করেছিলাম এবং তাঁকে দিয়েছিলাম প্রজ্ঞা ও ফয়সালাকারী বাগ্নীতা।
We strengthened his kingdom, and gave him wisdom and sound judgment in speech and decision.

وَشَدَدْنَا مُلْكَهُ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحِكْمَةَ وَفَصْلَ الْخِطَابِ
Washadadna mulkahu waataynahu alhikmata wafasla alkhitabi

YUSUFALI: We strengthened his kingdom, and gave him wisdom and sound judgment in speech and decision.
PICKTHAL: We made his kingdom strong and gave him wisdom and decisive speech.
SHAKIR: And We strengthened his kingdom and We gave him wisdom and a clear judgment.
KHALIFA: We strengthened his kingship, and endowed him with wisdom and good logic.

২০। আমি তাঁর রাজত্বকে সুদৃঢ় করেছিলাম এবং তাকে দান করেছিলাম প্রজ্ঞা এবং অভ্রান্ত বিচারের জন্য দিয়েছিলাম বাগ্মিতা এবং সিদ্ধান্তের ক্ষমতা ৪১৭০।

৪১৭০। এই রূপক কাহিনী বাইবেলে বিশদভাবে বর্ণিত হয়েছে। কুর-আনে শুধুমাত্র অন্তর্নিহিত বক্তব্যকে উত্থাপন করা হয়েছে। দাউদ নবীর ন্যায় বিচারের জন্য দেখুন [ ২১ : ৭৯ ] আয়াত ও টিকা ২৭৩২। তিনি উপযুক্ত ভাষার মাধ্যমে নিজেকে প্রকাশ করতে পারেন যার উদাহরণ হচ্ছে তার রচিত ধর্ম-সংগীত সমূহ।

আয়াতঃ 038.021

আপনার কাছে দাবীদারদের বৃত্তান্ত পৌছেছে, যখন তারা প্রাচীর ডিঙ্গীয়ে এবাদত খানায় প্রবেশ করেছিল।
Has the Story of the Disputants reached thee? Behold, they climbed over the wall of the private chamber;

وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ نَبَأُ الْخَصْمِ إِذْ تَسَوَّرُوا الْمِحْرَابَ
Wahal ataka nabao alkhasmi ith tasawwaroo almihraba

YUSUFALI: Has the Story of the Disputants reached thee? Behold, they climbed over the wall of the private chamber;
PICKTHAL: And hath the story of the litigants come unto thee? How they climbed the wall into the royal chamber;
SHAKIR: And has there come to you the story of the litigants, when they made an entry into the private chamber by ascending over the walls?
KHALIFA: Have you received news of the feuding men who sneaked into his sanctuary?

২১। তোমার নিকট কি বিবাদমান লোকদের বৃত্তান্ত পৌঁছেছে ? ৪১৭১ যখন তারা ব্যক্তিগত এবাদত খানাতে প্রাচীর ডিঙ্গিয়ে নেমেছিলো ?

৪১৭১। দাউদ নবী ছিলেন এক অতি পূণ্যবান মানুষ। আল্লাহ্‌র এবাদতের জন্য তাঁর ছিলো এক অতি সুরক্ষিত স্থান [Mirhab] বা এবাদত খানা।

আয়াতঃ 038.022

যখন তারা দাউদের কাছে অনুপ্রবেশ করল, তখন সে সন্ত্রস্ত হয়ে পড়ল। তারা বললঃ ভয় করবেন না; আমরা বিবদমান দুটি পক্ষ, একে অপরের প্রতি বাড়াবাড়ি করেছি। অতএব, আমাদের মধ্যে ন্যায়বিচার করুন, অবিচার করবেন না। আমাদেরকে সরল পথ প্রদর্শন করুন।
When they entered the presence of David, and he was terrified of them, they said: “Fear not: we are two disputants, one of whom has wronged the other: Decide now between us with truth, and treat us not with injustice, but guide us to the even Path..

إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَى دَاوُودَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ خَصْمَانِ بَغَى بَعْضُنَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تُشْطِطْ وَاهْدِنَا إِلَى سَوَاء الصِّرَاطِ
Ith dakhaloo AAala dawooda fafaziAAa minhum qaloo la takhaf khasmani bagha baAAduna AAala baAAdin faohkum baynana bialhaqqi wala tushtit waihdina ila sawa-i alssirati

YUSUFALI: When they entered the presence of David, and he was terrified of them, they said: “Fear not: we are two disputants, one of whom has wronged the other: Decide now between us with truth, and treat us not with injustice, but guide us to the even Path..
PICKTHAL: How they burst in upon David, and he was afraid of them. They said: Be not afraid! (We are) two litigants, one of whom hath wronged the other, therefor judge aright between us; be not unjust; and show us the fair way.
SHAKIR: When they entered in upon Dawood and he was frightened at them, they said: Fear not; two litigants, of whom one has acted wrongfully towards the other, therefore decide between us with justice, and do not act unjustly, and guide us to the right way.
KHALIFA: When they entered his room, he was startled. They said, “Have no fear. We are feuding with one another, and we are seeking your fair judgment. Do not wrong us, and guide us in the right path.
