আয়াতঃ 038.030
আমি দাউদকে সোলায়মান দান করেছি। সে একজন উত্তম বান্দা। সে ছিল প্রত্যাবর্তনশীল।
To David We gave Solomon (for a son),- How excellent in Our service! Ever did he turn (to Us)!
وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُودَ سُلَيْمَانَ نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ
Wawahabna lidawooda sulaymana niAAma alAAabdu innahu awwabun
YUSUFALI: To David We gave Solomon (for a son),- How excellent in Our service! Ever did he turn (to Us)!
PICKTHAL: And We bestowed on David, Solomon. How excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (toward Allah).
SHAKIR: And We gave to Dawood Sulaiman, most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah).
KHALIFA: To David we granted Solomon; a good and obedient servant.
৩০। আমি দাউদকে [ পুত্র হিসেবে ] দান করেছিলাম সুলাইমানকে ৪১৮২। কত চমৎকার সে ছিলো আমার সেবায় ! সে সর্বদা [ আমার ] অভিমুখী ছিলো।
৪১৮২। মানুষের মাঝে পরমাত্মার বাস যা অমর এবং অবিনশ্বর। পৃথিবীর সকল কিছু ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে, কিন্তু আত্মার ধ্বংস নাই। আধ্যাত্মিক উন্নতিই হচ্ছে পৃথিবীতে মানুষের অবস্থানের প্রধান কারণ। আত্মিক উন্নতি ব্যতীত পার্থিব জীবন এবং জাগতিক বিষয়বস্তু অর্থহীন । এই বিষয়টির গুরুত্ব বোঝানোর জন্য পুণরায় দাউদ নবী ও তার পুত্র সুলাইমানের উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। সুলাইমান ছিলেন এক শক্তিশালী ও মহান নৃপতি। কিন্তু তাঁর মহত্ব ও শক্তির প্রকৃত উৎস হচ্ছেন সর্বশক্তিমান আল্লাহ্। সুলাইমান সম্বন্ধে কোরাণে বলা হয়েছে ,” সে ছিলো অতিশয় আল্লাহ্ অভিমুখী” যা ওল্ড টেস্টামেন্ট বা তাওরাতের বক্তব্য থেকে পৃথক। ওল্ড টেস্টামেন্টে সুলাইমানকে পৌত্তলিক এবং আল্লাহ্র চোখে পাপিষ্ঠ রূপে উপস্থাপন করা হয়েছে এভাবে “Doing evil in the sight of the lord” যেখানে কোরাণে তাঁকে আল্লাহ্র একান্ত অনুগত ও পূণ্যাত্মারূপে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে।
আয়াতঃ 038.031
যখন তার সামনে অপরাহ্নে উৎকৃষ্ট অশ্বরাজি পেশ করা হল,
Behold, there were brought before him, at eventide coursers of the highest breeding, and swift of foot;
إِذْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ بِالْعَشِيِّ الصَّافِنَاتُ الْجِيَادُ
Ith AAurida AAalayhi bialAAashiyyi alssafinatu aljiyadu
YUSUFALI: Behold, there were brought before him, at eventide coursers of the highest breeding, and swift of foot;
PICKTHAL: When there were shown to him at eventide lightfooted coursers
SHAKIR: When there were brought to him in the evening (horses) still when standing, swift when running–
KHALIFA: One day he became preoccupied with beautiful horses, until the night fell.
৩১। স্মরণ কর! যখন এক অপরাহ্নে তাঁর সামনে ,দ্রুতগামী উন্নত জাতের অশ্বসমূহ নিয়ে আসা হলো ৪১৮৩, ৪১৮৪;
৪১৮৩। এই আয়াতটি সম্বন্ধে ব্যাখ্যাকারীরা একমত নন। বিভিন্ন জন বিভিন্নভাবে এর ব্যাখ্যা করেছেন। ইউসুফ আলী সাহেব তাদের মতামতের সাথে নিজস্ব সিদ্ধান্ত যোগ করেছেন।
৪১৮৪। Safinal – আক্ষরিক ভাবে সেই ঘোড়াকে বোঝানো হয়েছে, যে ঘোড়া নিদ্রিত অবস্থায় তার তিনটি পা শক্তভাবে মাটিতে প্রোথিত করে থাকে এবং চর্তুথ পাটি বিশ্রামের জন্য আলগা করে থাকে অর্থাৎ অশ্বের ঘুমন্ত অবস্থাকে বোঝানো হয়েছে। আলংকারিক অর্থে শব্দটি দ্বারা অশ্বের বিভিন্ন গুণাবলীকে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে। যেমন : উন্নত গুণসম্পন্ন জাতি যথা দ্রুত চলার গতি শিষ্টাচার ইত্যাদি।
আয়াতঃ 038.032
তখন সে বললঃ আমি তো আমার পরওয়ারদেগারের স্মরণে বিস্মৃত হয়ে সম্পদের মহব্বতে মুগ্ধ হয়ে পড়েছি-এমনকি সূর্য ডুবে গেছে।
And he said, “Truly do I love the love of good, with a view to the glory of my Lord,”- until (the sun) was hidden in the veil (of night):
فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ الْخَيْرِ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّي حَتَّى تَوَارَتْ بِالْحِجَابِ
Faqala innee ahbabtu hubba alkhayri AAan thikri rabbee hatta tawarat bialhijabi
YUSUFALI: And he said, “Truly do I love the love of good, with a view to the glory of my Lord,”- until (the sun) was hidden in the veil (of night):
PICKTHAL: And he said: Lo! I have preferred the good things (of the world) to the remembrance of my Lord; till they were taken out of sight behind the curtain.
SHAKIR: Then he said: Surely I preferred the good things to the remembrance of my Lord– until the sun set and time for Asr prayer was over, (he said):
KHALIFA: He then said, “I enjoyed the material things more than I enjoyed worshiping my Lord, until the sun was gone.
৩২। তখন সে বলেছিলো ,” আমি তো আমার প্রভুর স্মরণ থেকে বিমুখ হয়ে , ঐশ্বর্য প্রীতিতে মগ্ন হয়ে পড়েছিলাম ৪১৮৫, যতক্ষণ না সূর্য রাত্রির অবগুন্ঠনে আড়াল হয়ে পড়লো ৪১৮৬।
