৩৬৫৪। পরলোকের শাস্তি হচ্ছে পাপীদের জীবনের শেষ পরিণতি। পাপের শেষ পরিণতি দোযখ – এ সম্বন্ধে কোন সন্দেহ নাই। তবে শেষ পরিণতির পূর্বে করুণাময় আল্লাহ্ তাদের পৃথিবীতে ভ্রান্ত পথ থেকে ফিরিয়ে আনার প্রয়াস পান। পৃথিবীতে দুর্ভাগ্য , দুঘর্টনা , দুঃখ-দুর্দ্দশা, প্রভৃতি শাস্তির মাধ্যমে স্রষ্টা তাদের বিপথ থেকে ফিরিয়ে, স্রষ্টার নিকট আত্মসমর্পনের প্রয়াস পান। পৃথিবীর এই লঘু শাস্তির রকমফের আছে। হতে পারে তা আর্থিক বা বিবেকের দংশন বা গোপন দুঃখ যা হৃদয়কে রক্তাক্ত করে। যখন এ সব দুর্ঘটনা হৃদয়কে রক্তাক্ত ক্ষতবিক্ষত করে এর থেকে মুক্তি পাওয়ার জন্য মানুষ শেষ আশ্রয়স্থল হিসেবে আল্লাহ্র নিকট আত্মসমর্পন করে থাকে। সুতারাং পৃথিবীর এ সব দুঃখ দুর্দ্দশা বান্দার জন্য শাস্তি স্বরূপ না হয়ে, প্রকৃত সুখ- ও শান্তির কারণ হতে পারে। কারণ এর ফলে হয়তো পাপীরা পাপ থেকে নিবৃত হয়ে অনুতাপের মাধ্যমে সঠিক পথে প্রত্যার্পন করবে। যার ফলে পরলোকের জীবনে সে দোযখের শাস্তির পরিবর্তে বেহেশতের সুখের আস্বাদন করতে সমর্থ হবে।
আয়াতঃ 032.022
যে ব্যক্তিকে তার পালনকর্তার আয়াতসমূহ দ্বারা উপদেশ দান করা হয়, অতঃপর সে তা থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তার চেয়ে যালেম আর কে? আমি অপরাধীদেরকে শাস্তি দেব।
And who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of his Lord, then he turns aside therefrom? Verily, We shall exact retribution from the Mujrimûn (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.).
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ ثُمَّ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا إِنَّا مِنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ مُنتَقِمُونَ
Waman athlamu mimman thukkira bi-ayati rabbihi thumma aAArada AAanha inna mina almujrimeena muntaqimoona
YUSUFALI: And who does more wrong than one to whom are recited the Signs of his Lord, and who then turns away therefrom? Verily from those who transgress We shall exact (due) Retribution.
PICKTHAL: And who doth greater wrong than he who is reminded of the revelations of his Lord, then turneth from them. Lo! We shall requite the guilty.
SHAKIR: And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the communications of his Lord, then he turns away from them? Surely We will give punishment to the guilty.
KHALIFA: Who is more evil than one who is reminded of these revelations of his Lord, then insists upon disregarding them? We will certainly punish the guilty.
২২। তার থেকে বেশী পাপ কে করে, যার নিকট তার প্রভুর আয়াতসমূহ আবৃত্তি করার পরেও, তা থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় ? ৩৬৫৫ যারা সীমালংঘন করে আমি অবশ্যই তাদের নিকট [ উপযুক্ত ] প্রতিশোধ দাবী করবো।
৩৬৫৫। সর্বাপেক্ষা মন্দ ও কঠিন হৃদয় বিশিষ্ট সেই পাপী যে আল্লাহ্র নিদর্শন বা আয়াত থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, যে আল্লাহ্র আয়াতের শিক্ষাকে প্রত্যাখান করে এবং পাপের পথে ধাওয়া করে। আল্লাহ্র শিক্ষা – হতে পারে তা কোরাণের বাণীর মাধ্যমে বা মহান শিক্ষকদের পথ প্রদর্শনের মাধ্যমে, অথবা জাগতিক জীবনে ছোটখাট বিপদ বিপর্যয় ও দুঃখ দুর্দ্দশার মাধ্যমে। পাপে অভ্যস্ত হওয়ার ফলে যাদের হৃদয় কঠিন হয়ে যায়, তারা আল্লাহ্র এসব শিক্ষা থেকে শিক্ষা লাভ না করে ঔদ্ধত্যতার সাথে মুখ ফিরিয়ে রাখে। অনেক সময়ে সর্বনাশা বিপদ তাদের সর্ব অস্তিত্বকে ঘিরে ধরে – এসব ক্ষেত্রে তাদের জ্ঞানচক্ষু উম্মীলিত হওয়া উচিত ছিলো যে, আল্লাহ্র অনুগ্রহ ও রহমত তাদের জীবনে অত্যন্ত প্রয়োজন, ইচ্ছাকৃত ভাবে আল্লাহ্র শিক্ষাকে প্রত্যাখানের ফলে তাদের বিবেক মৃত হয়ে যায়। তারা লাভের পরিবর্তে লোকসান ক্রয় করে। তাদের অবধারিত শাস্তি তাদেরই কর্মের ফল।
আয়াতঃ 032.023
আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছি, অতএব আপনি কোরআন প্রাপ্তির বিষয়ে কোন সন্দেহ করবেন না। আমি একে বনী ইসরাঈলের জন্যে পথ প্রদর্শক করেছিলাম।
And indeed We gave Mûsa (Moses) the Scripture [the Taurât (Torah)]. So be not you in doubt of meeting him [i.e.when you met Mûsa (Moses) during the night of AlIsra’ and AlMi’râj over the heavens]. And We made it [the Taurât (Torah)] a guide to the Children of Israel.
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَلَا تَكُن فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّن لِّقَائِهِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ هُدًى لِّبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ
Walaqad atayna moosa alkitaba fala takun fee miryatin min liqa-ihi wajaAAalnahu hudan libanee isra-eela
YUSUFALI: We did indeed aforetime give the Book to Moses: be not then in doubt of its reaching (thee): and We made it a guide to the Children of Israel.
PICKTHAL: We verily gave Moses the Scripture; so be not ye in doubt of his receiving it; and We appointed it a guidance for the Children of Israel.
SHAKIR: And certainly We gave the Book to Musa, so be not in doubt concerning the receiving of it, and We made it a guide for the children of Israel.
KHALIFA: We have given Moses the scripture – do not harbor any doubt about meeting Him – and we made it a guide for the Children of Israel.
