সূরা নূর বাংলা

২৯৭৯। যারা একান্ত বিশ্বাস ও নিষ্ঠার সাথে পবিত্রতা রক্ষা করেও দুষ্টলোকের অপবাদের ও চক্রান্তের শীকার হয় তাদের জন্য আছে আল্লাহ্‌র ক্ষমা ও আধ্যাত্মিক ও জাগতিক সম্মানজনক জীবিকা। এর অর্থ এই যে যতই শয়তান তাদের সম্মান হানির চ্ষ্টো করবে ততই আল্লাহ্‌ তাদের সমর্থন করবেন এবং তাদের ইহলৌকিক ও পারলৌকিক উভয় জীবনকে সমৃদ্ধশালী করবেন।

আয়াতঃ 024.027

হে মুমিনগণ, তোমরা নিজেদের গৃহ ব্যতীত অন্য গৃহে প্রবেশ করো না, যে পর্যন্ত আলাপ-পরিচয় না কর এবং গৃহবাসীদেরকে সালাম না কর। এটাই তোমাদের জন্যে উত্তম, যাতে তোমরা স্মরণ রাখ।
O you who believe! Enter not houses other than your own, until you have asked permission and greeted those in them, that is better for you, in order that you may remember.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ بُيُوتِكُمْ حَتَّى تَسْتَأْنِسُوا وَتُسَلِّمُوا عَلَى أَهْلِهَا ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tadkhuloo buyootan ghayra buyootikum hatta tasta/nisoo watusallimoo AAala ahliha thalikum khayrun lakum laAAallakum tathakkaroona

YUSUFALI: O ye who believe! enter not houses other than your own, until ye have asked permission and saluted those in them: that is best for you, in order that ye may heed (what is seemly).
PICKTHAL: O ye who believe! Enter not houses other than your own without first announcing your presence and invoking peace upon the folk thereof. That is better for you, that ye may be heedful.
SHAKIR: O you who believe! Do not enter houses other than your own houses until you have asked permission and saluted their inmates; this is better for you, that you may be mindful.
KHALIFA: O you who believe, do not enter homes other than yours without permission from their inhabitants, and without greeting them. This is better for you, that you may take heed.

২৭। হে বিশ্বাসীগণ! তোমরা আপন গৃহ ব্যতীত অন্য কোন গৃহে প্ররেশ করো না যতক্ষণ না সেই গৃহের মালিকের নিকট অনুমতি নাও এবং সালাম কর। [ নৈতিকতা ও শালীনতার দিক থেকে ] এটাই তোমাদের জন্য উত্তম , যেনো তোমরা উপদেশ গ্রহণ কর ২৯৮০।

২৯৮০। কতগুলি সাধারণ প্রথা আছে যা মানা না মানার উপরে জীবন ধারণের সৌন্দর্য , সংস্কৃতি বিকাশের ধারা নির্ভরশীল। এর মধ্যে ব্যক্তিগত গোপনীয়তা হচ্ছে সংস্কৃতিবান জীবন, পবিত্র ও সুন্দর জীবন ধারণের জন্য অপরিহার্য। ইংরেজীতে একটা কথা আছে যে ইংরেজদের বাড়ী হচ্ছে দূর্গের ন্যায় – অর্থাৎ তাদের ব্যক্তিগত গোপনীয়তা দুর্গের ন্যায় দুর্ভেদ্য। এই বাক্যটি দ্বারা কিছুটা সামাজিক শ্রেণী বিভাগ ও উচ্চ বংশ ও হীনমন্যতার ধারণা দেয়। অপর পক্ষে মুসলামদের জন্য ব্যক্তিগত গোপনীয়তা রক্ষার প্রয়োজনীয়তার উপরে গুরুত্ব আরোপ করা হয়েছে অনুমতি সাপেক্ষে এবং সালাম বিনিময়ে গৃহে প্রবেশের মাধ্যমে। এর থেকে এই প্রমাণ হয় যে মুসলমান ব্যক্তিগত গোপনীয়তাকে অনুমোদন করে তবে তা যেনো শ্রেণী বিভাগের জন্ম না দেয়, মুসলিম ভাতৃত্ব ও বন্ধুত্বের চ্ছেদন না ঘটায়। আবার এতটা বাড়াবাড়ি না করে যাতে ব্যক্তির ব্যক্তিগত গোপনীয়তা ব্যহত হয়।

আয়াতঃ 024.028

যদি তোমরা গৃহে কাউকে না পাও, তবে অনুমতি গ্রহণ না করা পর্যন্ত সেখানে প্রবেশ করো না। যদি তোমাদেরকে বলা হয় ফিরে যাও, তবে ফিরে যাবে। এতে তোমাদের জন্যে অনেক পবিত্রতা আছে এবং তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ তা ভালোভাবে জানেন।
And if you find no one therein, still, enter not until permission has been given. And if you are asked to go back, go back, for it is purer for you, and Allâh is All-Knower of what you do.

فَإِن لَّمْ تَجِدُوا فِيهَا أَحَدًا فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا حَتَّى يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ وَإِن قِيلَ لَكُمُ ارْجِعُوا فَارْجِعُوا هُوَ أَزْكَى لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ
Fa-in lam tajidoo feeha ahadan fala tadkhulooha hatta yu/thana lakum wa-in qeela lakumu irjiAAoo fairjiAAoo huwa azka lakum waAllahu bima taAAmaloona AAaleemun

YUSUFALI: If ye find no one in the house, enter not until permission is given to you: if ye are asked to go back, go back: that makes for greater purity for yourselves: and Allah knows well all that ye do.
PICKTHAL: And if ye find no-one therein, still enter not until permission hath been given. And if it be said unto you: Go away again, then go away, for it is purer for you. Allah knoweth what ye do.
SHAKIR: But if you do not find any one therein, then do not enter them until permission is given to you; and if it is said to you: Go back, then go back; this is purer for you; and Allah is Cognizant of what you do.
KHALIFA: If you find no one in them, do not enter them until you obtain permission. If you are told, “Go back,” you must go back. This is purer for you. GOD is fully aware of everything you do.
