قَالَ عَمَّا قَلِيلٍ لَيُصْبِحُنَّ نَادِمِينَ
Qala AAamma qaleelin layusbihunna nadimeena
YUSUFALI: (Allah) said: “In but a little while, they are sure to be sorry!”
PICKTHAL: He said: In a little while they surely will become repentant.
SHAKIR: He said: In a little while they will most certainly be repenting.
KHALIFA: He said, “Soon they will be sorry.”
৪০। [আল্লাহ্ ] বলেছিলেন : ” অচিরেই তারা নিশ্চয়ই অনুতপ্ত হবে। ” ২৮৯৯
২৮৯৯। যখন আল্লাহ্র শাস্তি তাদের উপরে নিপতিত হবে, তখন পাপীরা তাদের কৃতকর্ম উপলব্ধি করতে পারবে ও অনুতপ্ত হবে। কিন্তু সে সময়ে অনুতাপ করার জন্য খুব দেরী হয়ে যাবে। তাদের আর অনুতাপ করার জন্য অবকাশ দেয়া হবে না।
আয়াতঃ 023.041
অতঃপর সত্য সত্যই এক ভয়ংকর শব্দ তাদেরকে হতচকিত করল এবং আমি তাদেরকে বাত্যা-তাড়িত আবর্জনা সদৃশ করে দিলাম। অতঃপর ধ্বংস হোক পাপী সম্প্রদায়।
So As-Saîhah (torment – awful cry, etc.) overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead plants. So away with the people who are Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh, disobedient to His Messengers, etc.).
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ بِالْحَقِّ فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ غُثَاء فَبُعْدًا لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Faakhathat-humu alssayhatu bialhaqqi fajaAAalnahum ghuthaan fabuAAdan lilqawmi alththalimeena
YUSUFALI: Then the Blast overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead leaves (floating on the stream of Time)! So away with the people who do wrong!
PICKTHAL: So the (Awful) Cry overtook them rightfully, and We made them like as wreckage (that a torrent hurleth). A far removal for wrongdoing folk!
SHAKIR: So the punishment overtook them in justice, and We made them as rubbish; so away with the unjust people.
KHALIFA: The retribution struck them, equitably, and thus, we turned them into ruins. The wicked people perished.
৪১। অতঃপর ন্যায়সঙ্গত ভাবে এক বিষ্ফোরণ তাদের গ্রাস করলো ২৯০০ এবং [ কালের সমুদ্রে ] আমি তাদের শুকনো পাতার ন্যায় আর্বজনাতে পরিণত করলাম ২৯০১। ফলে তারা হারিয়ে গেলো, তাদের সাথে, যারা পাপ করেছিলো।
২৯০০। দেখুন আয়াত [ ১১ : ৬৬ ] এবং টিকা ১৫৬৩ ও ১৫৬১।
২৯০১। “Guthann”: শুকনা পাতার আবর্জনা ; পানির স্রোতের উপরে ভাসমান আবর্জনা।

এরপর তাদের পরে আমি বহু সম্প্রদায় সৃষ্টি করেছি।
Then, after them, We created other generations.
ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ قُرُونًا آخَرِينَ
Thumma ansha/na min baAAdihim quroonan akhareena
YUSUFALI: Then We raised after them other generations.
PICKTHAL: Then after them We brought forth other generations.
SHAKIR: Then We raised after them other generations.
KHALIFA: Subsequently, we established other generations after them.
৪২। অতঃপর তাদের পরে আমি অন্য জাতিদের সৃষ্টি করেছি।
৪৩। কোন জাতিই তার নির্ধারিত কালকে ত্বরান্বিত বা বিলম্বিত করতে পারে না।
৪৪। অতঃপর আমি একের পরে এক আমার রাসুল প্রেরণ করেছি। যখনই কোন জাতির নিকট তাদের রাসুল এসেছে , তারা তাকে মিথ্যার অভিযোগে অভিযুক্ত করেছে। সুতারাং আমি তাদের একের পরে এককে [ শাস্তির দ্বারা] অনুসরণ করাইলাম। আমি তাদের কাহিনীতে পরিণত করেছি ২৯০২। সুতারাং [ তারা ] অবিশ্বাসীদের সাথে ধ্বংস হোক।
২৯০২। অবিশ্বাসীদের শেষ পরিণতি ধ্বংস। তাদের সভ্যতা , সংস্কৃতি সব ধ্বংসের অতল গহ্বরে নিঃশেষ হয়ে যায়। শুধু থেকে যায় তাদের কাহিনী মানুষের স্মৃতিতে ; পুরানো দিনের কল্প-কাহিনী হিসেবে।
আয়াতঃ 023.043
কোন সম্প্রদায় তার নির্দিষ্ট কালের অগ্রে যেতে পারে না। এবং পশ্চাতেও থকাতে পারে না।
No nation can anticipate their term, nor can they delay it.
مَا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ
Ma tasbiqu min ommatin ajalaha wama yasta/khiroona
YUSUFALI: No people can hasten their term, nor can they delay (it).
PICKTHAL: No nation can outstrip its term, nor yet postpone it.
SHAKIR: No people can hasten on their doom nor can they postpone (it).
KHALIFA: No community can advance its predetermined fate, nor delay it.
৪২। অতঃপর তাদের পরে আমি অন্য জাতিদের সৃষ্টি করেছি।
৪৩। কোন জাতিই তার নির্ধারিত কালকে ত্বরান্বিত বা বিলম্বিত করতে পারে না।
৪৪। অতঃপর আমি একের পরে এক আমার রাসুল প্রেরণ করেছি। যখনই কোন জাতির নিকট তাদের রাসুল এসেছে , তারা তাকে মিথ্যার অভিযোগে অভিযুক্ত করেছে। সুতারাং আমি তাদের একের পরে এককে [ শাস্তির দ্বারা] অনুসরণ করাইলাম। আমি তাদের কাহিনীতে পরিণত করেছি ২৯০২। সুতারাং [ তারা ] অবিশ্বাসীদের সাথে ধ্বংস হোক।
