YUSUFALI: The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand forth in ranks, none shall speak except any who is permitted by (Allah) Most Gracious, and He will say what is right.
PICKTHAL: On the day when the angels and the Spirit stand arrayed, they speak not, saving him whom the Beneficent alloweth and who speaketh right.
SHAKIR: The day on which the spirit and the angels shall stand in ranks; they shall not speak except he whom the Beneficent Allah permits and who speaks the right thing.
KHALIFA: The day will come when the Spirit and the angels will stand in a row. None will speak except those permitted by the Most Gracious, and they will utter only what is right.

৩৮। সেদিন রূহু ৫৯১১ ও ফেরেশতারা সারিবদ্ধভাবে দাড়াবে, পরম করুণাময় [আল্লাহ্‌ ] যাকে অনুমতি দেবেন সে ব্যতীত আর কারও কথা বলার অধিকার থাকবে না, এবং সে ন্যায় কথা বলবে। ৫৯১২

৫৯১১। ‘রূহু ‘ – শব্দটির জন্য দেখুন [ ৭০ : ৪ ] আয়াতের টিকা ৫৬৭৭। রূহু শব্দটি কোরাণের বিভিন্ন স্থানে বিভিন্ন অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। এ স্থলে রূহু শব্দটি দ্বারা ফেরেশতাদের মাঝে সর্বাপেক্ষা শক্তিশালী ও মর্যদা সম্পন্ন তাঁকেই বুঝানো হয়েছে। কোন কোন তফসীরকারের মতে এর দ্বারা জিব্রাইল ফেরেশতাকে বুঝানো হয়েছে। কারণ তিনিই আল্লাহ্‌র প্রত্যাদেশ সমূহ রসুলদের নিকট বহন করে আনেন। দেখুন [ ২৬ : ১৯৩ ] আয়াত ও টিকা ৩২২৪। তবে শব্দটিকে ব্যপক অর্থে নিলে, তার দ্বারা সমস্ত আত্মাকে বুঝানো হয়, যাদের আল্লাহ্‌র বিচার সভায় সমবেত করা হবে।

৫৯১২। দেখুন উপরের টিকা নং ৫৯১০। বিচার দিবসে আল্লাহ্‌র সম্মুখে কথা বলার ক্ষমতা কারও থাকবে না। কিন্তু বলা হয়েছে আল্লাহ্‌র চোখে বিশেষ সম্মানীয় যারা তাদের পাপীদের জন্য আবেদন করার অনুমতি দেয়া হবে। সে সময়ে তাদের আবেদনের ধারা কিরূপ হবে তারও রূপরেখা এখানে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে। তারা আল্লাহ্‌র করুণা ভিক্ষা করবেন সত্য কিন্তু তা আল্লাহ্‌র ন্যায় বিচারের ভিত্তিকে অস্বীকার করে নয়।

আয়াতঃ 078.039

এই দিবস সত্য। অতঃপর যার ইচ্ছা, সে তার পালনকর্তার কাছে ঠিকানা তৈরী করুক।
That is without doubt the True Day, so, whosoever wills, let him seek a place with (or a way to) His Lord (by obeying Him in this worldly life)!

ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَقُّ فَمَن شَاء اتَّخَذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ مَآبًا
Thalika alyawmu alhaqqu faman shaa ittakhatha ila rabbihi maaban

YUSUFALI: That Day will be the sure Reality: Therefore, whoso will, let him take a (straight) return to his Lord!
PICKTHAL: That is the True Day. So whoso will should seek recourse unto his Lord.
SHAKIR: That is the sure day, so whoever desires may take refuge with his Lord.
KHALIFA: Such is the inevitable day. Whoever wills let him take refuge in his Lord.

৩৯। এই দিন হবে নিশ্চিত বাস্তবতা ৫৯১৩। সুতারাং যার ইচ্ছা হয় সে, এখনো [ সোজাসুজি ] তার প্রভুর নিকট শরণাপন্ন হোক।

৫৯১৩। দেখুন [ ৬৯ : ১ ] আয়াত ও টিকা ৫৬৩৫। বিচার দিবস অবশ্যই আসবে সেদিন মিথ্যার সকল মোহজাল ছিন্ন হয়ে যাবে এবং সত্য তাঁর ঔজ্জ্বল্যে হবে ভাস্বর। প্রকৃত সত্যের রূপ সেদিন সকলেই অনুধাবনে সক্ষম হবে। তবে কেন মানুষ পৃথিবীর এই শিক্ষানবীশকালে নিজেকে পরিশুদ্ধ করে আল্লাহ্‌র পানে মুখ ফেরায় না ? আল্লাহ্‌র ইচ্ছার কাছে আত্মসমর্পন করে না ?

আয়াতঃ 078.040

আমি তোমাদেরকে আসন্ন শাস্তি সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করলাম, যেদিন মানুষ প্রত্যেক্ষ করবে যা সে সামনে প্রেরণ করেছে এবং কাফের বলবেঃ হায়, আফসোস-আমি যদি মাটি হয়ে যেতাম।
Verily, We have warned you of a near torment, the Day when man will see that (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the disbeliever will say: ”Woe to me! Would that I were dust!”

إِنَّا أَنذَرْنَاكُمْ عَذَابًا قَرِيبًا يَوْمَ يَنظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ الْكَافِرُ يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَابًا
Inna antharnakum AAathaban qareeban yawma yanthuru almaro ma qaddamat yadahu wayaqoolu alkafiru ya laytanee kuntu turaban

YUSUFALI: Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, “Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust!”
PICKTHAL: Lo! We warn you of a doom at hand, a day whereon a man will look on that which his own hands have sent before, and the disbeliever will cry: “Would that I were dust!”
SHAKIR: Surely We have warned you of a chastisement near at hand: the day when man shall see what his two hands have sent before, and the unbeliever shall say: O! would that I were dust!
KHALIFA: We have sufficiently warned you about an imminent retribution. That is the day when everyone will examine what his hands have sent forth, and the disbeliever will say, “Oh, I wish I were dust.”
