এবং পর্বতমালা ভেঙ্গে চুরমার হয়ে যাবে।
And the mountains will be powdered to dust.
وَبُسَّتِ الْجِبَالُ بَسًّا
Wabussati aljibalu bassan
YUSUFALI: And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms,
PICKTHAL: And the hills are ground to powder
SHAKIR: And the mountains shall be made to crumble with (an awful) crumbling,
KHALIFA: The mountains will be wiped out.
০৪। যখন পৃথিবী তার গভীর থেকে প্রকম্পিত হবে,
০৫। এবং পবর্তসমূহ অণু-পরমাণুতে চূর্ণ হয়ে যাবে ৫২২৪,
০৬। পরিণত হবে বিক্ষিপ্ত ধূলিকণাতে
৫২২৪। আয়াতে [ ৪ – ৬ ] বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে কেয়ামত দিবসে পৃথিবীর অবস্থা। অল্প কয়েকটি বাক্যে যে চিত্র আঁকা হয়েছে তা অতি ভয়াবহ। আমাদের এই চেনা পৃথিবী অর্ন্তহিত হয়ে যাবে এবং নূতন পৃথিবীর সৃষ্টি হবে।
আয়াতঃ 056.006
অতঃপর তা হয়ে যাবে উৎক্ষিপ্ত ধূলিকণা।
So that they will become floating dust particles.
فَكَانَتْ هَبَاء مُّنبَثًّا
Fakanat habaan munbaththan
YUSUFALI: Becoming dust scattered abroad,
PICKTHAL: So that they become a scattered dust,
SHAKIR: So that they shall be as scattered dust.
KHALIFA: As if they never existed.
০৪। যখন পৃথিবী তার গভীর থেকে প্রকম্পিত হবে,
০৫। এবং পবর্তসমূহ অণু-পরমাণুতে চূর্ণ হয়ে যাবে ৫২২৪,
০৬। পরিণত হবে বিক্ষিপ্ত ধূলিকণাতে
৫২২৪। আয়াতে [ ৪ – ৬ ] বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে কেয়ামত দিবসে পৃথিবীর অবস্থা। অল্প কয়েকটি বাক্যে যে চিত্র আঁকা হয়েছে তা অতি ভয়াবহ। আমাদের এই চেনা পৃথিবী অর্ন্তহিত হয়ে যাবে এবং নূতন পৃথিবীর সৃষ্টি হবে।
আয়াতঃ 056.007
এবং তোমরা তিনভাবে বিভক্ত হয়ে পড়বে।
And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups).
وَكُنتُمْ أَزْوَاجًا ثَلَاثَةً
Wakuntum azwajan thalathatan
YUSUFALI: And ye shall be sorted out into three classes.
PICKTHAL: And ye will be three kinds:
SHAKIR: And you shall be three sorts.
KHALIFA: You will be stratified into three kinds.

আয়াতঃ 056.008
যারা ডান দিকে, কত ভাগ্যবান তারা।
So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise).
فَأَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ
Faas-habu almaymanati ma as-habu almaymanati
YUSUFALI: Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand?
PICKTHAL: (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand?
SHAKIR: Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand!
KHALIFA: Those who deserved bliss will be in bliss.
০৮। সেখানে থাকবে ডান হাতের [ আমলনামার ] দল ; কিরূপ [ ভাগ্যবান ] হবে ডান হাতের দল ?
০৯। এবং বা হাতের [ আমলনামার ] দল; কিরূপ [ হতভাগ্য ] হবে বা হাতের দল?
১০। এবং [ ঈমানে ] অগ্রবর্তীগণই হবে [পরলোকে ] অগ্রবর্তী ৫২২৬।
৫২২৬।”অগ্রবর্তীগণ [ বিশ্বাসে ] ” – এই আয়াতটিকে দুভাবে ব্যাখ্যা করা যায়।
১) আল্লাহ্র একত্বে বিশ্বাসে যারা অগ্রবর্তী তাঁরাই আধ্যাত্মিক জগতকে অন্তরের মাঝে অনুভবে শীর্ষপর্যায়ে রয়ে যান। এরা হলেন নবী, রসুল এবং মানুষকে যারা নৈতিকতা শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন যুগে যুগে। পরলোকের জীবনে এরাই হবেন অগ্রবর্তী।
২) যারা আল্লাহ্র প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপনে ছিলেন দ্রুত ও আল্লাহ্র বাণী গ্রহণে ছিলেন সর্বাপেক্ষা অগ্রগামী পরলোকের জীবনে বেহেশতে তাদের অবস্থান শীর্ষে থাকবে।
আয়াত নম্বর ৮, ৯, ও ১০ উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে ন্যায়বিচারের ভিত্তিতে করা তিনটি প্রধান শ্রেণীর। পরবর্তী আয়াত সমূহে তাদের সুখ-শান্তি ও দুঃখ দুর্দ্দশাকে প্রতীকের মাধ্যমে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে। আল্লাহ্র প্রতি বিশ্বাসে যারা সর্বোচ্চ স্থানে অবস্থান করবেন তাঁরাই হবেন আল্লাহ্র সবচেয়ে নিকটবর্তী।
আয়াতঃ 056.009
এবং যারা বামদিকে, কত হতভাগা তারা।
And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell).
وَأَصْحَابُ الْمَشْأَمَةِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الْمَشْأَمَةِ
Waas-habu almash-amati ma as-habu almash-amati
YUSUFALI: And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand?
PICKTHAL: And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand?
SHAKIR: And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand!
KHALIFA: Those who deserved misery will be in misery.
