সূরা আহকাফ বাংলা

YUSUFALI: And We had firmly established them in a (prosperity and) power which We have not given to you (ye Quraish!) and We had endowed them with (faculties of) hearing, seeing, heart and intellect: but of no profit to them were their (faculties of) hearing, sight, and heart and intellect, when they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah; and they were (completely) encircled by that which they used to mock at!
PICKTHAL: And verily We had empowered them with that wherewith We have not empowered you, and had assigned them ears and eyes and hearts; but their ears and eyes and hearts availed them naught since they denied the revelations of Allah; and what they used to mock befell them.
SHAKIR: And certainly We had established them in what We have not established you in, and We had given– them ears and eyes and hearts, but neither their ears, nor their eyes, nor their hearts availed them aught, since they denied the communications of Allah, and that which they mocked encompassed them.
KHALIFA: We had established them in the same way as we established you, and provided them with hearing, eyes, and minds. But their hearing, eyes, and minds did not help them at all. This is because they decided to disregard GOD’s revelations. Thus, the prophecies and warnings that they ridiculed have caused their doom.

২৬। [ হে কুরাইশরা ] নিশ্চয়ই আমি তাদের এমন দৃঢ়ভাবে [ সাফল্য এবং ] ক্ষমতায় প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছিলাম যা আমি তোমাদের করি নাই। এবং শোনার ক্ষমতা, দেখার ক্ষমতা, হৃদয় বৃত্তি এবং বুদ্ধি বৃত্তি দ্বারা আমি তাদের বিভূষিত করেছিলাম ৪৮০৪। কিন্তু তাদের শোনার ও দেখার ক্ষমতা এবং হৃদয়বৃত্তি ও বুদ্ধি বৃত্তি তাদের কোন উপকারেই এলো না, যখন তারা আল্লাহ্‌র নিদর্শনসমূহ অস্বীকার করে যেতে লাগলো ৪৮০৫। এবং তারা [ সম্পূর্ণভাবে ] [ সেই শাস্তি ] দ্বারা পরিবৃত হয়ে পড়লো, যা নিয়ে তারা ঠাট্টা বিদ্রূপ করতো ৪৮০৬।

৪৮০৪। আদ্‌ জাতি ও তাদের পরবর্তী বংশধর যারা সেই প্রচন্ড ঘুর্ণিঝড় থেকে রক্ষা পায়, সেই সামুদ জাতি – এদেরকে আল্লাহ্‌ বিশেষ নেয়ামতে ধন্য করেছিলেন। বিজ্ঞান, শিল্প, সংস্কৃতি প্রভৃতি বিষয়ে তাদের উন্নতি ইসলাম পূর্বে কোরাইশদের অপেক্ষা ছিলো বহুগুণ। এই উন্নতির মূলে ছিলো তাদের মানসিক দক্ষতা সমূহ, যা, শুধুমাত্র আল্লাহ্‌ প্রদত্ত ক্ষমতা। ” শোনার ক্ষমতা ও দেখার ক্ষমতা ” দ্বারা বুঝানো হয়েছে পর্যবেক্ষণ ক্ষমতার মাধ্যমে শোনা ও দেখা বা পর্যবেক্ষণের মাধ্যমে সত্যকে আবিষ্কার করার ক্ষমতা। ‘হৃদয়’ শব্দটি আরবীতে ‘বুদ্ধি’, যুক্তিসংক্রান্ত বিচার ক্ষমতা এবং আবেগ, অনুভূতি, ও সৌন্দর্য বোধ এবং শিল্পী মনকে বোঝানো হয়। অর্থাৎ মানসিক বিভিন্ন দক্ষতাকে “কর্ণ, চক্ষু ও হৃদয়” শব্দটি দ্বারা বুঝানো হয়েছে।

৪৮০৫। আল্লাহ্‌ প্রদত্ত বিভিন্ন মানসিক দক্ষতা সমূহ সকলকে সমভাবে দান করা হয় না। পৃথিবীর সর্বোচ্চ প্রতিভাধর ব্যক্তিও যদি আল্লাহ্‌র বিধান সমূহ বা আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করে তবে তার জন্যও পরলোকের শাস্তি অবধারিত। তার প্রতিভার স্বীকৃতি সে ইহলোকেই লাভ করবে পরলোকে তার জন্য কোনও স্বীকৃতি নাই। আল্লাহকে অস্বীকারের দরুণ সে আল্লাহ্‌র নিকট হবে অপরাধী।

৪৮০৬। দেখুন [ ৪৫ : ৩৩ ] আয়াত ও টিকা ৪৭৭০। যারা আল্লাহ্‌ ও আল্লাহ্‌র বিধান সমূহের প্রতি ঠাট্টা প্রদর্শন করে থাকে, তাতে আল্লাহ্‌র কোনও ক্ষতি বৃদ্ধি ঘটে না। তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদের সুস্থ বুদ্ধিকে আচ্ছন্ন করে ফেলে। ফলে তারা আল্লাহ্‌র শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব ; ক্ষমতা, মহানুভবতা, দয়া, ক্ষমাকে তাদের অন্তরের মাঝে অনুভবে ব্যর্থ হয়। তারা নিজেদের শ্রেষ্ঠত্বে ক্ষমতায়, বিমোহিত হয়ে পড়ে। এ ভাবেই তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদের পরিবেষ্টন করে থাকে।

আয়াতঃ 046.027

আমি তোমাদের আশপাশের জনপদ সমূহ ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি এবং বার বার আয়াতসমূহ শুনিয়েছি, যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে।
And indeed We have destroyed towns (populations) round about you, and We have (repeatedly) shown (them) the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in various ways that they might return (to the truth and believe in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism).

وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ الْقُرَى وَصَرَّفْنَا الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Walaqad ahlakna ma hawlakum mina alqura wasarrafna al-ayati laAAallahum yarjiAAoona

YUSUFALI: We destroyed aforetime populations round about you; and We have shown the Signs in various ways, that they may turn (to Us).
PICKTHAL: And verily We have destroyed townships round about you, and displayed (for them) Our revelation, that haply they might return.
SHAKIR: And certainly We destroyed the towns which are around you, and We repeat the communications that they might turn.
KHALIFA: We have annihilated many communities around you, after we had explained the proofs, that they might repent.
