সূরা আহকাফ বাংলা

وَالَّذِي قَالَ لِوَالِدَيْهِ أُفٍّ لَّكُمَا أَتَعِدَانِنِي أَنْ أُخْرَجَ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ الْقُرُونُ مِن قَبْلِي وَهُمَا يَسْتَغِيثَانِ اللَّهَ وَيْلَكَ آمِنْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَيَقُولُ مَا هَذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
Waallathee qala liwalidayhi offin lakuma ataAAidaninee an okhraja waqad khalati alquroonu min qablee wahuma yastagheethani Allaha waylaka amin inna waAAda Allahi haqqun fayaqoolu ma hatha illa asateeru al-awwaleena

YUSUFALI: But (there is one) who says to his parents, “Fie on you! Do ye hold out the promise to me that I shall be raised up, even though generations have passed before me (without rising again)?” And they two seek Allah’s aid, (and rebuke the son): “Woe to thee! Have faith! for the promise of Allah is true.” But he says, “This is nothing but tales of the ancients!”
PICKTHAL: And whoso saith unto his parents: Fie upon you both! Do ye threaten me that I shall be brought forth (again) when generations before me have passed away? And they twain cry unto Allah for help (and say): Woe unto thee! Believe! Lo! the promise of Allah is true. But he saith: This is naught save fables of the men of old:
SHAKIR: And he who says to his parents: Fie on you! do you threaten me that I shall be brought forth when generations have already passed away before me? And they both call for Allah’s aid: Woe to you! believe, surely the promise of Allah is true. But he says: This is nothing but stories of the ancients.
KHALIFA: Then there is the one who says to his parents, “Woe to you; are you telling me that (after death) I will come back to life? How come those who died before us never come back?” The parents would cry for GOD’s help and say, “Woe to you; please believe! GOD’s promise is the truth.” He would say, “Tales from the past!”

১৭। আর, যে ব্যক্তি আপন মাতা-পিতাকে বলে, ৪৭৯৩ ” ধিক্কার তোমাদের ! তোমরা কি আমাকে এই ভয় দেখাতে চাও যে, আমি পুনরুত্থিত হব, যদিও আমার পূর্বে বহু পুরুষ গত হয়েছে [ পুনরুত্থান ব্যতীত ]? ” তখন তারা দুজনে আল্লাহ্‌র সাহায্য কামনা করে [ এবং পুত্রকে ভর্ৎসনা করে ] ; ” দুর্ভাগ্য তোমার! ঈমান আন ! আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতিশ্রুতি সত্য।” কিন্তু সে বলে, ” এগুলি প্রাচীন কালের গল্প কাহিনী ব্যতীত অন্য কিছু নয়।”

৪৭৯৩। আমাদের চারিপার্শ্বের এরূপ ঘটনা অহরহই ঘটে যে পূণ্যাত্মা ব্যক্তির সন্তান হয়ে পড়ে মন্দ প্রকৃতির। উপরের আয়াতে [ ১৫ নং ] বর্ণিত আছে সৎ সন্তানের বৈশিষ্ট্য। তারা নিজের জন্য ও পিতামাতার মঙ্গলের জন্য সর্বদা স্রষ্টার দরবারে প্রার্থনা করে থাকে। তারই বিপরীতে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে অসৎ সন্তানের বা মন্দ ব্যক্তির চারিত্রিক বৈশিষ্ট্য। এ সব ব্যক্তি পূণ্যাত্মা পিতা মাতাকে শ্রদ্ধার পরিবর্তে অবজ্ঞা করে এবং পিতা মাতার পূণ্য কর্মকে তারা প্রাচীনপন্থী ক্রিয়াকর্ম ও শ্রদ্ধার অযোগ্য বলে পরিগণিত করে। প্রগতিশীলতার নামে এরা শ্বাসত সত্যকে অনুধাবনে অক্ষম হয় ও মন্দের প্রতি আসক্ত হয়ে পড়ে। এ সত্য পরিবারের জন্য যেমন প্রযোজ্য পৃথিবীতে মানুষের সভ্যতার বিবর্তনে, জাতির জন্যও সমভাবে প্রযোজ্য। জাতির উত্থান পতনের ইতিহাস এই ‘সত্যের ‘ মাঝে নিহিত। আমাদের যা করণীয় তা হচ্ছে এই যে, আমাদের পরবর্তী প্রজন্মকে সঠিক ও সত্যপথে পরিচালিত করা এবং নূতন প্রজন্মের উপলব্ধি করা উচিত যে পূর্বপুরুষদের বয়স ও অভিজ্ঞতা এক মূল্যবান সম্পদ ; বিশেষভাবে আধ্যাত্মিক জগতের জ্ঞান।
