সূরা জাসিয়া বাংলা

আয়াতঃ 045.031

আর যারা কুফর করেছে, তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হবে, তোমাদের কাছে কি আয়াতসমূহ পঠিত হত না? কিন্তু তোমরা অহংকার করছিলে এবং তোমরা ছিলে এক অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়।
But as for those who disbelieved (it will be said to them): ”Were not Our Verses recited to you? But you were proud, and you were a people who were Mujrimûn (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals).”

وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَفَلَمْ تَكُنْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَاسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ
Waamma allatheena kafaroo afalam takun ayatee tutla AAalaykum faistakbartum wakuntum qawman mujrimeena

YUSUFALI: But as to those who rejected Allah, (to them will be said): “Were not Our Signs rehearsed to you? But ye were arrogant, and were a people given to sin!
PICKTHAL: And as for those who disbelieved (it will be said unto them): Were not Our revelations recited unto you? But ye were scornful and became a guilty folk.
SHAKIR: As to those who disbelieved: What! were not My communications recited to you? But you were proud and you were a guilty people.
KHALIFA: As for those who disbelieve: “Were not My revelations recited to you, but you turned arrogant and were wicked people?”

৩১। কিন্তু যারা আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করেছিলো ; [ তাদের বলা হবে ] : ” তোমাদের নিকট কি আমার আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করা হয় নাই ? কিন্তু তোমরা ছিলে উদ্ধত এবং পাপে আসক্ত এক সম্প্রদায়।”

৩২। এবং যখন বলা হতো, ” আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতিশ্রুতি তো সত্য, [ কেয়ামতের ]ক্ষণ সম্বন্ধে কোন সন্দেহ নাই” ; তোমরা বলতে , ” আমরা [কেয়ামতের] সময় সম্বন্ধে জানি না। আমরা মনে করি এটা একটা ধারণামাত্র আমরা এ বিষয়ে নিশ্চিত নই।” ৪৭৬৯

৪৭৬৯। এই আয়াতে কাফেরদের দম্ভ ও অহংকারকে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে। পৃথিবীতে সর্ব যুগে সর্ব কালে সম্পদ ও ক্ষমতা মানুষকে অন্ধ অহংকারী করে তোলে যার পরিণতিতে তারা আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করার সাহস ও দম্ভ প্রকাশ করে থাকে। এরাই অন্ধ অহংকারে কেয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করে। কিন্তু যুগে যুগে নবী, রসুল ও পয়গম্বরগণ কেয়ামত দিবসের ঘোষণা করে গেছেন। সুতারাং শেষ দিবস কেয়ামত দিবসকে মিথ্যা ধারণা, কুসংস্কার বলে উড়িয়ে দেয়া তাদের একগুয়েমির পরিণতি।সত্যকে অস্বীকার দ্বারা তারা তাদের বড়াই আত্ম অহংকার ও দাম্ভিকতা প্রকাশ করতে চায় মাত্র।

আয়াতঃ 045.032

যখন বলা হত, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য এবং কেয়ামতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই, তখন তোমরা বলতে আমরা জানি না কেয়ামত কি ? আমরা কেবল ধারণাই করি এবং এ বিষয়ে আমরা নিশ্চিত নই।
And when it was said: ”Verily! Allâh’s Promise is the truth, and there is no doubt about the coming of the Hour,” you said; ”We know not what is the Hour, we do not think it but as a conjecture, and we have no firm convincing belief (therein).”

وَإِذَا قِيلَ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا قُلْتُم مَّا نَدْرِي مَا السَّاعَةُ إِن نَّظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنًّا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ
Wa-itha qeela inna waAAda Allahi haqqun waalssaAAatu la rayba feeha qultum ma nadree ma alssaAAatu in nathunnu illa thannan wama nahnu bimustayqineena

YUSUFALI: “And when it was said that the promise of Allah was true, and that the Hour- there was no doubt about its (coming), ye used to say, ‘We know not what is the hour: we only think it is an idea, and we have no firm assurance.’”
PICKTHAL: And when it was said: Lo! Allah’s promise is the truth, and there is no doubt of the Hour’s coming, ye said: We know not what the Hour is. We deem it naught but a conjecture, and we are by no means convinced.
SHAKIR: And when it was said, Surely the promise of Allah is true and as for the hour, there is no doubt about it, you said: We do not know what the hour is; we do not think (that it will come to pass) save a passing thought, and we are not at all sure.
KHALIFA: When it is proclaimed that GOD’s promise is the truth and that the Hour (of Judgment) is inevitable, you said, “We do not know what the Hour is! We are full of conjecture about it; we are not certain.”

৩১। কিন্তু যারা আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করেছিলো ; [ তাদের বলা হবে ] : ” তোমাদের নিকট কি আমার আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করা হয় নাই ? কিন্তু তোমরা ছিলে উদ্ধত এবং পাপে আসক্ত এক সম্প্রদায়।”
