সূরা দুখান বাংলা

আয়াতঃ 044.036

তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও, তবে আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে নিয়ে এস।
”Then bring back our fore-fathers, if you speak the truth!”

فَأْتُوا بِآبَائِنَا إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Fa/too bi-aba-ina in kuntum sadiqeena

YUSUFALI: “Then bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!”
PICKTHAL: Bring back our fathers, if ye speak the truth!
SHAKIR: So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful.
KHALIFA: “Bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful.”

৩৪।যেমন এরা [ কুরাইশরা ] নিশ্চয়ই বলে থাকে ;

৩৫। ” আমাদের প্রথম মৃত্যু ব্যতীত আর কিছু নাই, এবং আমাদের পুণরায় উঠানো হবে না।

৩৬। “তাহলে আমাদের পূর্ব পুরুষদের ফিরিয়ে আন, যদি তুমি সত্যি বলে থাক।” ৪৭১৪

৪৭১৪। প্রাচীন সভ্যতায়, পৃথিবীর ইতিহাসে মিশর ও ইসরাঈলীদের অবদান সর্বজন স্বীকৃত। এরা ছিলো সমসাময়িক বিশ্বের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ জাতি, কিন্তু তাদের অহংকার ও গর্বের দরুণ ও তাদের পাপের পরিণতিতে তাদের পতন ঘটে। এই আয়াতে ‘এরা ‘ দ্বারা রাসুলের সমকালীন কাফিরদিগকে বুঝানো হয়েছে। পৃথিবীর দুই সুসভ্য, ও পরাক্রমশালী জাতির উদাহরণ স্থাপন করা হয়েছে এসব অবিশ্বাসী ও একগুয়ে কোরাইশদের সম্মুখে। তাঁরা নবীর বিরুদ্ধে ছিলো একগুয়ে। অবাধ্যভাবে তারা আল্লাহ্‌র প্রত্যাদেশকে প্রত্যাখান করতো। তারা পরলোকের জীবনকে অস্বীকার করতো , যেমন করতো ইহুদীদের মধ্যে যারা নাস্তিক ছিলো। কোরাইশরা আল্লাহ্‌র রাসুলকে ও যারা আল্লাহ্‌র প্রত্যাদেশে বিশ্বাস করতো তাদের নির্যাতন ও অত্যাচার করতো। শুধু তাই-ই নয়, ব্যঙ্গ ও বিদ্রূপ করে দাবী করতো যে পরলোকে যদি পুণরুত্থান ঘটেই থাকে তবে এখনই তাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের উপস্থিত করা হোক। এদেরই স্মরণ করানো হয়েছে যে, তাদের থেকেও শক্তিশালী ও সমৃদ্ধিশালী জাতি যারা আরবেই বাস করতো, তারাও ধ্বংস হয়ে গেছে [ পরবর্তী আয়াত সমূহ ]। কারণ ছিলো তাদের আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতি অবিশ্বাস ও পাপ কার্য। তারাও যদি অনুতাপের মাধ্যমে আত্মসংশোধন না করে তবে তাদেরও শেষ পরিণতি ঐ একই ঘটবে।

আয়াতঃ  044.037

ওরা শ্রেষ্ঠ, না তুব্বার সম্প্রদায় ও তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা? আমি ওদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি। ওরা ছিল অপরাধী।
Are they better or the people of Tubba’ and those before them? We destroyed them because they were indeed Mujrimûn (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.).

أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مُجْرِمِينَ
Ahum khayrun am qawmu tubbaAAin waallatheena min qablihim ahlaknahum innahum kanoo mujrimeena

YUSUFALI: What! Are they better than the people of Tubba and those who were before them? We destroyed them because they were guilty of sin.
PICKTHAL: Are they better, or the folk of Tubb’a and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty.
SHAKIR: Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty.
KHALIFA: Are they better than the people of Tubba` and others before them? We annihilated them for their crimes.

৩৭। সে কি ! তারা কি তুবা সম্প্রদায় ৪৭১৫ এবং তাদের পূর্বে যারা ছিলো তাদের থেকেও ভালো ? তাদের আমি ধ্বংস করেছি , কেননা তারা ছিলো পাপাসক্ত ৪৭১৬।

৪৭১৫। ‘তুব্বা ” ছিলো ইয়েমেনের এক শক্তিশালী রাজবংশের উপাধি। এই রাজবংশ ছিলো ইয়েমেনের হিমইয়ারী সম্রাটগণ। হিমইয়ারীরা হচ্ছে এক প্রাচীন জাতি। তারা দীর্ঘকাল ব্যপী ইয়েমেনের পশ্চিমাংশকে রাজধানী করে আরব, শাম , ইরাক ও আফ্রিকার কিছু অংশ শাসন করে। প্রথমে তারা সাবিঈন ধর্মাবলম্বী ছিলো অর্থাৎ তারা নক্ষত্র পূঁজারী ছিলো। পরবর্তীতে তারা ইহুদী ধর্ম ও খৃষ্টান ধর্ম গ্রহণ করে। রাসুল [ সা ] ৯-১০ হিজরীতে ইয়েমেনের হিমারী রাজার নিকট ইসলাম গ্রহণের দাওয়াত প্রেরণ করেন যার ফলে তারা ইসলাম গ্রহণ করে। অবশ্য এই ঘটনাটি ঘটে এই সূরা অবতীর্ণ হওয়ার বহু পরে।

আয়াতঃ 044.038

আমি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু ক্রীড়াচ্ছলে সৃষ্টি করিনি।
And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, for mere play,

وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِبِينَ
Wama khalaqna alssamawati waal-arda wama baynahuma laAAibeena

YUSUFALI: We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, merely in (idle) sport:
PICKTHAL: And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play.
SHAKIR: And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in sport.
KHALIFA: We did not create the heavens and the earth, and everything between them, just to play.
