আয়াতঃ 042.031
তোমরা পৃথিবীতে পলায়ন করে আল্লাহকে অক্ষম করতে পার না এবং আল্লাহ ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন কার্যনির্বাহী নেই, সাহায্যকারীও নেই।
And you cannot escape from Allâh (i.e. His Punishment) in the earth, and besides Allâh you have neither any Walî (guardian or a protector) nor any helper.
وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
Wama antum bimuAAjizeena fee al-ardi wama lakum min dooni Allahi min waliyyin wala naseerin
YUSUFALI: Nor can ye frustrate (aught), (fleeing) through the earth; nor have ye, besides Allah, any one to protect or to help.
PICKTHAL: Ye cannot escape in the earth, for beside Allah ye have no protecting friend nor any helper.
SHAKIR: And you cannot escape in the earth, and you shall not have a guardian or a helper besides Allah.
KHALIFA: You can never escape, and you have none beside GOD as a Lord and Master.
৩১। তোমরা পৃথিবীতে [তাঁকে ] ব্যর্থ করতে পারবে না , আল্লাহ্ ছাড়া তোমাদের কোন অভিভাবক নাই অথবা সাহায্যকারীও নাই ৪৫৭১।
৪৫৭১। প্রতিটি মন্দ চিন্তা, মন্দ কথা ও মন্দ কাজের পরিণতি মন্দ। ঠিক সেরূপ প্রতিটি ভালো চিন্তা , কথা ও কাজের পরিণতি ভালো। পৃথিবীতে ভালো কাজ তা যত সামান্যই হোক তার সুফল মানুষ ভোগ করবে, তবে সকল মন্দ কাজের শাস্তি পাপীরা লাভ করে না। কারণ আল্লাহ্ অনেক মন্দ কাজকেই ক্ষমা করে দেন। যদি আল্লাহ্ কিছু ক্ষমা করে দেন, এর ফলে কেউ যেনো মনে না করে যে, সে আল্লাহ্র পরিকল্পনা ও ইচ্ছাকে ব্যর্থ করে দিতে সক্ষম।আল্লাহ্ সর্বশক্তিমান ,তিনি ব্যতীত আর কোনও অভিভাবক বা রক্ষাকর্তা নাই। দেখুন আয়াত [ ৩৯: ২২ ]।
আয়াতঃ 042.032
সমুদ্রে ভাসমান পর্বতসম জাহাজসমূহ তাঁর অন্যতম নিদর্শন।
And among His Signs are the ships, in the sea, like mountains.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ الْجَوَارِ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَامِ
Wamin ayatihi aljawari fee albahri kaal-aAAlami
YUSUFALI: And among His Signs are the ships, smooth-running through the ocean, (tall) as mountains.
PICKTHAL: And of His portents are the ships, like banners on the sea;
SHAKIR: And among His signs are the ships in the sea like mountains.
KHALIFA: Among His proofs are the ships that sail the sea with sails like flags.
৩২। এবং তাঁর নিদর্শনসমূহের মধ্যে সাগরে সঞ্চরণশীল পাহাড়ের ন্যায় জাহাজসমূহ ৪৫৭২।
৪৫৭২। পর্বত প্রমাণ ঢেউয়ের মাঝে চলমান জাহাজ সমূহের উদাহরণ বারে বারে বহু স্থানে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে আল্লাহ্র বিভিন্ন নিদর্শন স্বরূপ। প্রাচীন কালে জাহাজসমূহ সমুদ্রে চলাচল করতো পালের সাহায্যে এবং পাল ছিলো সম্পূর্ণরূপে বাতাসের উপরে নির্ভরশীল। সেই কথাই এই আয়াতে বলা হয়েছে যে, নৌযান সমূহ তাদের নিরাপদ গন্তব্যে পৌঁছানোর জন্য আল্লাহ্র করুণার উপরে নির্ভরশীল। যদি বাতাস থেমে যেতো তবে বিশাল নৌযান সমূহ বাতাসের অভাবে মৃতবৎ দাড়িয়ে থাকতো। বর্তমানে অবশ্য জাহাজসমূহ বাতাসের উপরে নির্ভরশীল নয় , কিন্তু এই উপমা এখনও সমভাবে প্রযোজ্য। কারণ জাহাজ বা প্লেন সব কিছুই বাতাসের গতিবেগ অনুসরণ করেই চালানো হয়। এবং প্রচন্ড ঝড়ের মুখে এসব যানবাহন সমূহ তৃণবৎ পরিগণিতহয়।বায়ু প্রবাহ, তা আল্লাহ্রইএক নিদর্শন।
আয়াতঃ 042.033
তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে বাতাসকে থামিয়ে দেন। তখন জাহাজসমূহ সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠে নিশ্চল হয়ে পড়ে যেন পাহাড়। নিশ্চয় এতে প্রত্যেক সবরকারী, কৃতজ্ঞের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
If He wills, He causes the wind to cease, then they would become motionless on the back (of the sea). Verily, in this are signs for everyone patient and grateful.
إِن يَشَأْ يُسْكِنِ الرِّيحَ فَيَظْلَلْنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ
In yasha/ yuskini alrreeha fayathlalna rawakida AAala thahrihi inna fee thalika laayatin likulli sabbarin shakoorin
YUSUFALI: If it be His Will He can still the Wind: then would they become motionless on the back of the (ocean). Verily in this are Signs for everyone who patiently perseveres and is grateful.
PICKTHAL: If He will He calmeth the wind so that they keep still upon its surface – Lo! herein verily are signs for every steadfast grateful (heart). –
SHAKIR: If He pleases, He causes the wind to become still so that they lie motionless on its back; most surely there are signs in this for every patient, grateful one,
KHALIFA: If He willed, He could have stilled the winds, leaving them motionless on top of the water. These are proofs for those who are steadfast, appreciative.
