اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ قَرِيبٌ
Allahu allathee anzala alkitaba bialhaqqi waalmeezani wama yudreeka laAAalla alssaAAata qareebun
YUSUFALI: It is Allah Who has sent down the Book in Truth, and the Balance (by which to weigh conduct). And what will make thee realise that perhaps the Hour is close at hand?
PICKTHAL: Allah it is Who hath revealed the Scripture with truth, and the Balance. How canst thou know? It may be that the Hour is nigh.
SHAKIR: Allah it is Who revealed the Book with truth, and the balance, and what shall make you know that haply the hour be nigh?
KHALIFA: GOD is the One who sent down the scripture, to deliver the truth and the law. For all that you know, the Hour (Day of Judgment) may be very close.
১৭। আল্লাহ্-ই সত্যসহ কিতাব ও [ন্যায় -অন্যায়ের ] মানদণ্ড প্রেরণ করেছেন ৪৫৫০। কি তোমাকে হৃদয়ঙ্গম করাবে যে সম্ভবতঃ কেয়ামত অতি আসন্ন ?
৪৫৫০। কিতাব অর্থাৎ আল্লাহ্র প্রত্যাদেশ সমূহ। আল্লাহ্র প্রত্যাদেশের সত্য, মানদণ্ড যা দাঁড়িপাল্লার ন্যায়। আল্লাহ্ আমাদের নিকট কিতাব প্রত্যার্পন করেছেন দাঁড়িপাল্লার ন্যায় , যেনো আমরা প্রতি নিয়ত আমাদের নৈতিক নীতিমালা , পূণ্য -পাপ , ভালো মন্দ এরই নিরিখে বিচার করতে পারি, আমাদের প্রতিদিনের জীবনে প্রতি মূহুর্তে আমাদের তা করতে হয়। কারণ শেষ বিচারের দিন যে কোনও মূহুর্তে চলে আসতে পারে। আবার মানদন্ড বা দাঁড়িপাল্লাকে আমরা এভাবেও বিচার করতে পারি যে আল্লাহ্ প্রদত্ত মানসিক দক্ষতা সমূহ, যার সাহায্যে আমরা ন্যায় অন্যায় ,ভালো মন্দের, সত্য মিথ্যার পার্থক্য করতে পারি। অর্থাৎ বিবেক বা আধ্যাত্মিক অন্তর্দৃষ্টি হচ্ছে এই দাঁড়িপাল্লা বা মানদণ্ড।
আয়াতঃ 042.018
যারা তাতে বিশ্বাস করে না তারা তাকে তড়িৎ কামনা করে। আর যারা বিশ্বাস করে, তারা তাকে ভয় করে এবং জানে যে, তা সত্য। জেনে রাখ, যারা কেয়ামত সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করে, তারা দূরবর্তী পথ ভ্রষ্টতায় লিপ্ত রয়েছে।
Those who believe not therein seek to hasten it, while those who believe are fearful of it, and know that it is the very truth. Verily, those who dispute concerning the Hour are certainly in error far away.
يَسْتَعْجِلُ بِهَا الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مُشْفِقُونَ مِنْهَا وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهَا الْحَقُّ أَلَا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُمَارُونَ فِي السَّاعَةِ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ
YastaAAjilu biha allatheena la yu/minoona biha waallatheena amanoo mushfiqoona minha wayaAAlamoona annaha alhaqqu ala inna allatheena yumaroona fee alssaAAati lafee dalalin baAAeedin
YUSUFALI: Only those wish to hasten it who believe not in it: those who believe hold it in awe, and know that it is the Truth. Behold, verily those that dispute concerning the Hour are far astray.
PICKTHAL: Those who believe not therein seek to hasten it, while those who believe are fearful of it and know that it is the Truth. Are not they who dispute, in doubt concerning the Hour, far astray?
SHAKIR: Those who do not believe in it would hasten it on, and those who believe are in fear from it, and they know that it is the truth. Now most surely those who dispute obstinately concerning the hour are in a great error.
KHALIFA: Challenging it are those who do not believe in it. As for those who believe, they are concerned about it, and they know that it is the truth. Absolutely, those who deny the Hour have gone far astray.
১৮। যারা ইহা বিশ্বাস করে না শুধুমাত্র তারাই ইহা ত্বরান্বিত করতে চাইবে ৪৫৫১। আর যারা বিশ্বাস করে তারা শ্রদ্ধা ভক্তি মিশ্রিত ভয়ে ভীত এবং তারা জানে উহা সত্য। সাবধান! কেয়ামত সম্বন্ধে যারা বির্তক করে নিশ্চয়ই তারা বহুদূরে পথভ্রষ্ট।
৪৫৫১। অবিশ্বাসীরা শেষ বিচারের দিনে বিশ্বাস করে না। তারা তা নিয়ে পরিহাস করে। তারা বিদ্রূপ করে বলে, ” যদি শাস্তি থাকে তাড়াতাড়ি চলে আসুক।” এর তিন ধরণের উত্তর দেয়া হয়েছে আয়াত [ ১৩ : ৬ ] ও টিকা নং ১৮১০। কিন্তু যারা বিশ্বাসী তাদের মনোভাব সম্পূর্ণ আলাদা। তারা জানে পরলোকের জীবন হচ্ছে চরম সত্য ; এবং তারা পরলোকের জীবনের জন্য প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করে। যারা কিয়ামত সম্বন্ধে বাক্ বিতন্ডা করে তারা ঘোর বিভ্রান্তিতে রয়েছে।
আয়াতঃ 042.019
আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদের প্রতি দয়ালু। তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা, রিযিক দান করেন। তিনি প্রবল, পরাক্রমশালী।
Allâh is very Gracious and Kind to His slaves. He gives provisions to whom He wills. And He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty.
