YUSUFALI: The Hour will certainly come: Therein is no doubt: Yet most men believe not.
PICKTHAL: Lo! the Hour is surely coming, there is no doubt thereof; yet most of mankind believe not.
SHAKIR: Most surely the hour is coming, there is no doubt therein, but most people do not believe.
KHALIFA: Most certainly, the Hour (Day of Judgment) is coming, no doubt about it, but most people do not believe.

৫৯। কেয়ামত অবশ্যই আসবে ৪৪৩৩; এ সম্বন্ধে কোন সন্দেহ নাই। তবুও অধিকাংশ লোকে তা বিশ্বাস করে না।

৪৪৩৩। কেয়ামত হচ্ছে এই পৃথিবীতে মানুষের জীবন ধারার সমাপ্তি ঘোষণা। আবার অন্য অর্থে কেয়ামত হচ্ছে পরকালের সিংহদ্বার বিশেষ।

আয়াতঃ 040.060

তোমাদের পালনকর্তা বলেন, তোমরা আমাকে ডাক, আমি সাড়া দেব। যারা আমার এবাদতে অহংকার করে তারা সত্বরই জাহান্নামে দাখিল হবে লাঞ্ছিত হয়ে।
And your Lord says: “Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell – in humiliation!”

وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ
Waqala rabbukumu odAAoonee astajib lakum inna allatheena yastakbiroona AAan AAibadatee sayadkhuloona jahannama dakhireena

YUSUFALI: And your Lord says: “Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell – in humiliation!”
PICKTHAL: And your Lord hath said: Pray unto Me and I will hear your prayer. Lo! those who scorn My service, they will enter hell, disgraced.
SHAKIR: And your Lord says: Call upon Me, I will answer you; surely those who are too proud for My service shall soon enter hell abased.
KHALIFA: Your Lord says, “Implore Me, and I will respond to you. Surely, those who are too arrogant to worship Me will enter Gehenna, forcibly.”

৬০। এবং তোমাদের প্রভু বলে, ” আমাকে আহ্বান কর , আমি তোমাদের [ ডাকে ] সাড়া দিব। ৪৪৩৪ কিন্তু যারা অহংকার , ঔদ্ধত্যে আমার এবাদত থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, নিশ্চয়ই তারা নিজেদের জাহান্নামে লাঞ্ছিত অবস্থায় দেখতে পাবে।” ৪৪৩৪

৪৪৩৪। নশ্বর দেহের ধ্বংস আছে ; কিন্তু আত্মা অমর। আল্লাহ্‌র নিকট থেকে এর যাত্রা শুরু আবার পরলোকে আল্লাহ্‌র নিকটই তার প্রত্যাবর্তন। সেখানেই আত্মার পরিপূর্ণতা, যাত্রার শেষ। এই যাত্রাপথে আমাদের আত্মিক পরিপূর্ণতার জন্য আমরা ইহকালের ও পরকালের জন্য আল্লাহ্‌র নিকট প্রার্থনা করতে পারি। এই আয়াতে আল্লাহ্‌ আমাদের সুসংবাদ দিয়েছেন যে, তিনি বান্দার প্রার্থনা শোনার জন্য ব্যকুল হয়ে থাকেন। এই ডাকের জন্য কোনও মাধ্যমের প্রয়োজন নাই। বান্দা ও স্রষ্টার মাঝে সরাসরি যোগাযোগ ঘটে। তিনি আমাদের প্রার্থনা শুনবেন ; ক্ষমা করবেন , হেদায়েত করবেন , এবং আমাদের জীবনের চলার পথকে বাধাহীন করবেন। কিন্তু স্রষ্টা ও মানুষের মধ্যে যে বাধার প্রাচীর ব্যবধান রচনা করে তা হচ্ছে মানুষের অহংকার ফলে তার পতন ঘটে ও তার জন্য অপমানকর শাস্তি আরোপিত হয় [ ৩৭ : ১৮ ] ও টিকা ৪০৪৪।

আয়াতঃ 040.061

তিনিই আল্লাহ যিনি রাত্র সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমাদের বিশ্রামের জন্যে এবং দিবসকে করেছেন দেখার জন্যে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ মানুষের প্রতি অনুগ্রহশীল, কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুষ কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার করে না।
It is Allah Who has made the Night for you, that ye may rest therein, and the days as that which helps (you) to see. Verily Allah is full of Grace and Bounty to men: yet most men give no thanks.

اللَّهُ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ
Allahu allathee jaAAala lakumu allayla litaskunoo feehi waalnnahara mubsiran inna Allaha lathoo fadlin AAala alnnasi walakinna akthara alnnasi la yashkuroona

YUSUFALI: It is Allah Who has made the Night for you, that ye may rest therein, and the days as that which helps (you) to see. Verily Allah is full of Grace and Bounty to men: yet most men give no thanks.
PICKTHAL: Allah it is Who hath appointed for you night that ye may rest therein, and day for seeing. Lo! Allah is a Lord of bounty for mankind, yet most of mankind give not thanks.
SHAKIR: Allah is He Who made for you the night that you may rest therein and the day to see; most surely Allah is Gracious to men, but most men do not give thanks.
KHALIFA: GOD is the One who designed the night so you can rest in it, and the day lighted. GOD bestows many blessings upon the people, but most people are not thankful.
