রুকু – ৭
৮৩। একদিন আমি প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায় থেকে এক একটি দলকে সমবেত করবো যারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলীকে প্রত্যাখান করতো। এবং তাদের সারিবদ্ধ ভাবে রাখা হবে , –
৮৪। যতক্ষণ না তারা [ বিচারকের সম্মুখে ] উপস্থিত হবে, [ তখন আল্লাহ্ ] বলবেন, ” তোমরা কি আমার নিদর্শনসমূহ প্রত্যাখান করেছিলে, যদিও তোমরা তা জ্ঞান দ্বারা হৃদয়ঙ্গম কর নাই ৩৩১৪, বরং আরও কি করেছিলে ? ”
৩৩১৪। তাদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ করা হবে যে, ” তোমাদের কোনও জ্ঞান না থাকা সত্বেও তোমরা আমার নিদর্শনকে উপেক্ষা করেছ। এ কথা কি সত্য ; না কি তোমাদের কোনও আবেদন আছে ?”
আয়াতঃ 027.084
যখন তারা উপস্থিত হয়ে যাবে, তখন আল্লাহ বলবেন, তোমরা কি আমার আয়াতসমূহকে মিথ্যা বলেছিলে? অথচ এগুলো সম্পর্কে তোমাদের পুর্ণ জ্ঞান ছিল না। না তোমরা অন্য কিছু করছিলে?
Till, when they come (before their Lord at the place of reckoning), He will say: ”Did you deny My Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) when you comprehended them not in knowledge, or what (else) was it that you used to do?”
حَتَّى إِذَا جَاؤُوا قَالَ أَكَذَّبْتُم بِآيَاتِي وَلَمْ تُحِيطُوا بِهَا عِلْمًا أَمَّاذَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Hatta itha jaoo qala akaththabtum bi-ayatee walam tuheetoo biha AAilman ammatha kuntum taAAmaloona
YUSUFALI: Until, when they come (before the Judgment-seat), (Allah) will say: “Did ye reject My Signs, though ye comprehended them not in knowledge, or what was it ye did?”
PICKTHAL: Till, when they come (before their Lord), He will say: Did ye deny My revelations when ye could not compass them in knowledge, or what was it that ye did?
SHAKIR: Until when they come, He will say: Did you reject My communications while you had no comprehensive knowledge of them? Or what was it that you did?
KHALIFA: When they arrive, He will say, “You have rejected My revelations, before acquiring knowledge about them. Is this not what you did?”

৮৩। একদিন আমি প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায় থেকে এক একটি দলকে সমবেত করবো যারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলীকে প্রত্যাখান করতো। এবং তাদের সারিবদ্ধ ভাবে রাখা হবে , –
৮৪। যতক্ষণ না তারা [ বিচারকের সম্মুখে ] উপস্থিত হবে, [ তখন আল্লাহ্ ] বলবেন, ” তোমরা কি আমার নিদর্শনসমূহ প্রত্যাখান করেছিলে, যদিও তোমরা তা জ্ঞান দ্বারা হৃদয়ঙ্গম কর নাই ৩৩১৪, বরং আরও কি করেছিলে ? ”
৩৩১৪। তাদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ করা হবে যে, ” তোমাদের কোনও জ্ঞান না থাকা সত্বেও তোমরা আমার নিদর্শনকে উপেক্ষা করেছ। এ কথা কি সত্য ; না কি তোমাদের কোনও আবেদন আছে ?”
আয়াতঃ 027.085
জুলুমের কারণে তাদের কাছে আযাবের ওয়াদা এসে গেছে। এখন তারা কোন কিছু বলতে পারবে না।
And the Word (of torment) will be fulfilled against them, because they have done wrong, and they will be unable to speak (in order to defend themselves).
وَوَقَعَ الْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُوا فَهُمْ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
WawaqaAAa alqawlu AAalayhim bima thalamoo fahum la yantiqoona
YUSUFALI: And the Word will be fulfilled against them, because of their wrong-doing, and they will be unable to speak (in plea).
PICKTHAL: And the Word will be fulfilled concerning them because they have done wrong, and they will not speak.
SHAKIR: And the word shall come to pass against them because they were unjust, so they shall not speak.
KHALIFA: They will incur the requital for their wickedness; they will say nothing.
৮৫। এবং তাদের পাপের কারণে যখন তাদের বিরুদ্ধে প্রতিশ্রুতি পূর্ণ হবে, তখন তারা [ আবেদন করে ] কোন কথা বলতে অক্ষম হবে ৩৩১৫।
৩৩১৫। পাপীরা কোনও আবেদন করতে পারবে না , কারণ অভিযোগের প্রতিটি কথাই সত্য। সুতারাং তাদের উপর শাস্তির খড়্গ নেমে আসবে।
আয়াতঃ 027.086
তারা কি দেখে না যে, আমি রাত্রি সৃষ্টি করেছি তাদের বিশ্রামের জন্যে এবং দিনকে করেছি আলোকময়। নিশ্চয় এতে ঈমানদার সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
See they not that We have made the night for them to rest therein, and the day sight-giving? Verily, in this are Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) for the people who believe.
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Alam yaraw anna jaAAalna allayla liyaskunoo feehi waalnnahara mubsiran inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yu/minoona
YUSUFALI: See they not that We have made the Night for them to rest in and the Day to give them light? Verily in this are Signs for any people that believe!
PICKTHAL: Have they not seen how We have appointed the night that they may rest therein, and the day sight-giving? Lo! therein verily are portents for a people who believe.
SHAKIR: Do they not consider that We have made the night that. they may rest therein, and the day to give light? Most surely there are signs in this for a people who believe.
KHALIFA: Have they not seen that we made the night for their rest, and the day lighted? These should be sufficient proofs for people who believe.
