সূরা নমল বাংলা

৫৮। এবং আমি তাদের উপরে গন্ধকের ধারা বর্ষণ করেছিলাম। কত মন্দই না ছিলো সেই বর্ষণ যা সেই সকল লোকের উপর বর্ষিত হয়েছিলো , যাদের সতর্ক করা হয়েছিলো [ কিন্তু শোনে নাই ]।

আয়াতঃ 027.059

বল, সকল প্রশংসাই আল্লাহর এবং শান্তি তাঁর মনোনীত বান্দাগণের প্রতি! শ্রেষ্ঠ কে? আল্লাহ না ওরা-তারা যাদেরকে শরীক সাব্যস্ত করে।
Say (O Muhammad SAW): ”Praise and thanks be to Allâh, and peace be on His slaves whom He has chosen (for His Message)! Is Allâh better, or (all) that you ascribe as partners (to Him)?” (Of course, Allâh is Better).

قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَى آللَّهُ خَيْرٌ أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
Quli alhamdu lillahi wasalamun AAala AAibadihi allatheena istafa allahu khayrun amma yushrikoona

YUSUFALI: Say: Praise be to Allah, and Peace on his servants whom He has chosen (for his Message). (Who) is better?- Allah or the false gods they associate (with Him)?
PICKTHAL: Say (O Muhammad): Praise be to Allah, and peace be on His slaves whom He hath chosen! Is Allah best, or (all) that ye ascribe as partners (unto Him)?
SHAKIR: Say: Praise be to Allah and peace on His servants whom He has chosen: is Allah better, or what they associate (with Him)?
KHALIFA: Say, “Praise be to GOD and peace be upon His servants whom He chose. Is GOD better, or the idols some people set up?”

৫৯। বল, সকল প্রশংসা আল্লাহ্‌র এবং তার সেই বান্দাদের প্রতি শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক যাদের তিনি [ রাসুল হিসেবে ] মনোনীত করেছেন ৩২৯২। কে শ্রেষ্ঠ ? – আল্লাহ্‌ না কি তারা যাদের [ তাঁর সাথে ] শরীক করে তারা?

৩২৯২। যুগে যুগে আল্লাহ্‌র প্রত্যাদেশ সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য নৈতিক জীবনের পথ নির্দ্দেশ , আত্মার জন্য আলো , যে আলোতে সে পথের নির্দ্দেশকে সনাক্ত করতে পারবে এবং আল্লাহ্‌র অনুগ্রহকে। আল্লাহ্‌র এই অনুগ্রহ বিভিন্ন যুগে বিভিন্ন নবী রসুলদের মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ্‌ আমাদের নিকট প্রেরণ করেছেন। আল্লাহ্‌র এই মনোনীত বান্দাদের প্রতি আল্লাহ্‌র রহমতের জন্য আমাদের দোয়া করা উচিত। কারণ , আল্লাহ্‌র বাণী প্রচারের কারণে এসব বান্দাদের দুষ্টদের দ্বারা যে নির্মম অত্যাচার , নির্যাতন, নির্বাসন প্রভৃতি ভোগ করতে হয় তা অবর্ণনীয়। এরা মানুষের মঙ্গলের জন্য আল্লাহ্‌র বাণীকে প্রচারের জন্য জীবনের সকল সুখ স্বাচ্ছন্দকে পরিত্যাগ করেন, সুখের পথকে পরিহার করে দুঃখ কষ্টের কণ্টকাকীর্ণ পথকে গ্রহণ করেন, এরা আমাদের নমস্য। এদের আত্মত্যাগের কারণেই পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহ্‌র শাসন প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। আল্লাহ্‌-ই হচ্ছেন চরম সত্য; সর্বোচ্চ কল্যাণ। আল্লাহ্‌ ব্যতীত আর যারই এবাদত করা হোক না কেন সবই মিথ্যা এবং পাপ। তবুও কি আমরা মিথ্যা এবং পাপকে সত্য এবং মঙ্গলের উপরে স্থান দেব?

আয়াতঃ 027.060

বল তো কে সৃষ্টি করেছেন নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল এবং আকাশ থেকে তোমাদের জন্যে বর্ষণ করেছেন পানি; অতঃপর তা দ্বারা আমি মনোরম বাগান সৃষ্টি করেছি। তার বৃক্ষাদি উৎপন্ন করার শক্তিই তোমাদের নেই। অতএব, আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন উপাস্য আছে কি? বরং তারা সত্যবিচ্যুত সম্প্রদায়।
Is not He (better than your gods) Who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water (rain) from the sky, whereby We cause to grow wonderful gardens full of beauty and delight? It is not in your ability to cause the growth of their trees. Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? Nay, but they are a people who ascribe equals (to Him)!

أَمَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاء مَاء فَأَنبَتْنَا بِهِ حَدَائِقَ ذَاتَ بَهْجَةٍ مَّا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُنبِتُوا شَجَرَهَا أَإِلَهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ يَعْدِلُونَ
Amman khalaqa alssamawati waal-arda waanzala lakum mina alssama-i maan faanbatna bihi hada-iqa thata bahjatin ma kana lakum an tunbitoo shajaraha a-ilahun maAAa Allahi bal hum qawmun yaAAdiloona

YUSUFALI: Or, Who has created the heavens and the earth, and Who sends you down rain from the sky? Yea, with it We cause to grow well-planted orchards full of beauty of delight: it is not in your power to cause the growth of the trees in them. (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, they are a people who swerve from justice.
PICKTHAL: Is not He (best) Who created the heavens and the earth, and sendeth down for you water from the sky wherewith We cause to spring forth joyous orchards, whose trees it never hath been yours to cause to grow. Is there any Allah beside Allah? Nay, but they are folk who ascribe equals (unto Him)!
SHAKIR: Nay, He Who created the heavens and the earth, and sent down for you water from the cloud; then We cause to grow thereby beautiful gardens; it is not possible for you that you should make the trees thereof to grow. Is there a god with Allah? Nay! they are people who deviate.
KHALIFA: Who is the One who created the heavens and the earth? Who is the One who sends down to you from the sky water, whereby we produce gardens full of beauty – you could not possibly manufacture its trees? Is it another god with GOD? Indeed, they are people who have deviated.
