সূরা নমল বাংলা

فَلَمَّا جَاء سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ أَتُمِدُّونَنِ بِمَالٍ فَمَا آتَانِيَ اللَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا آتَاكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ
Falamma jaa sulaymana qala atumiddoonani bimalin fama ataniya Allahu khayrun mimma atakum bal antum bihadiyyatikum tafrahoona

YUSUFALI: Now when (the embassy) came to Solomon, he said: “Will ye give me abundance in wealth? But that which Allah has given me is better than that which He has given you! Nay it is ye who rejoice in your gift!
PICKTHAL: So when (the envoy) came unto Solomon, (the King) said: What! Would ye help me with wealth? But that which Allah hath given me is better than that which He hath given you. Nay it is ye (and not I) who exult in your gift.
SHAKIR: So when he came to Sulaiman, he said: What! will you help me with wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Nay, you are exultant because of your present;
KHALIFA: When the hoopoe returned to Solomon (he told him the news), and he responded (to Sheba’s people): “Are you giving me money? What GOD has given me is far better than what He has given you. You are the ones to rejoice in such gifts.”

৩৫।” আমি তার জন্য উপঢৌকন পাঠাচ্ছি , দেখি [ আমার ] দূতেরা কি [ উত্তর ] আনে। ”

৩৬। দূতেরা যখন সুলেমানের নিকট পৌঁছুলো, সে বলেছিলো, ” তোমরা কি আমাকে প্রচুর সম্পদ দিতে চাও ? কিন্তু আল্লাহ্‌ আমাকে যা দিয়েছেন তা , তিনি তোমাদের যা দিয়েছেন তা থেকে উত্তম। অথচ তোমরাই তোমাদের উপঢৌকন নিয়ে উৎফুল্ল বোধ করছো ৩২৭২।

৩২৭২। বেচারী বিলকিস্‌ – তাঁর ধারণা ছিলো যে মেয়েলী কৌশল দ্বারা সুলাইমানকে তিনি শান্ত করতে পারবেন, এবং তাঁর যুদ্ধংদেহী মনোভাব সম্পন্ন প্রজাকূলকে নিবৃত করতে পারবেন। কিন্তু রাণীর এই কৌশল সুলাইমানের উপরে উল্টো ভাবে কাজ করেছিলো। তিনি একে অপমান বলে গ্রহণ করলেন। কারণ সুলাইমানের আহ্বান কোনও রাজ্য বিস্তারের আকাঙ্খা ছিলো না। তা ছিলো সত্য ধর্মের প্রতি, এক আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতি আনুগত্যের আহ্বান। মহত্তর, সত্যের আহ্বানের পরিবর্তে উপঢৌকন , হাস্যকর ব্যাপার বৈকি। তিনি উপঢৌকন প্রত্যাখান করেন এবং বলেন যে, ” এ সব ঝকমকে তুচ্ছ বস্তু তোমাদের হৃদয়ে আনন্দ সঞ্চার করুক। আমার ওসবে প্রয়োজন নাই, কারণ আল্লাহ্‌ আমাকে জাগতিক প্রচুর ধনসম্পদ দান করেছেন। তা ব্যতীত এমন কিছু দিয়েছেন যা পার্থিব সম্পদের থেকে শ্রেষ্ঠ।” এখানে তিনি আল্লাহ্‌র হেদায়েতের আলোর কথা বলেছেন।

আয়াতঃ 027.037

ফিরে যাও তাদের কাছে। এখন অবশ্যই আমি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে এক সৈন্যবাহিনী নিয়ে আসব, যার মোকাবেলা করার শক্তি তাদের নেই। আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে অপদস্থ করে সেখান থেকে বহিষ্কৃত করব এবং তারা হবে লাঞ্ছিত।
[Then Sulaimân (Solomon) said to the chief of her messengers who brought the present]: ”Go back to them. We verily shall come to them with hosts that they cannot resist, and we shall drive them out from there in disgrace, and they will be abased.”

ارْجِعْ إِلَيْهِمْ فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّهُمْ بِجُنُودٍ لَّا قِبَلَ لَهُم بِهَا وَلَنُخْرِجَنَّهُم مِّنْهَا أَذِلَّةً وَهُمْ صَاغِرُونَ
IrjiAA ilayhim falana/tiyannahum bijunoodin la qibala lahum biha walanukhrijannahum minha athillatan wahum saghiroona

YUSUFALI: “Go back to them, and be sure we shall come to them with such hosts as they will never be able to meet: We shall expel them from there in disgrace, and they will feel humbled (indeed).”
PICKTHAL: Return unto them. We verily shall come unto them with hosts that they cannot resist, and we shall drive them out from thence with shame, and they will be abased.
SHAKIR: Go back to them, so we will most certainly come to them with hosts which they shall have no power to oppose, and we will most certainly expel them therefrom in abasement, and they shall be in a state of ignominy.
KHALIFA: (To the hoopoe, he said,) “Go back to them (and let them know that) we will come to them with forces they cannot imagine. We will evict them, humiliated and debased.”

৩৭। “তুমি তাদের নিকট ফিরে যাও , এবং নিশ্চিত থাক আমি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে এমন এক সৈন্য দল নিয়ে আসবো যার প্রতিরোধ তারা কিছুতেই করতে পারবে না। আমি তাদের সেখান থেকে লাঞ্ছিত করে , বহিষ্কার করে দেবো এবং [ তখন অবশ্যই ] তারা বিনীত হবে।”

৩৮। সে [ সুলেমান ] বলেছিলো, ” হে আমার পরিষদবর্গ তারা আমার নিকট [ আনুগত্যে ] আত্মসমর্পনের জন্য আসার পূর্বেই তোমাদের মধ্যে কে তাঁর সিংহাসন আমার নিকট নিয়ে আসতে পারবে ? ” ৩২৭৩
