সূরা মারইয়াম বাংলা

আয়াতঃ 019.005

আমি ভয় করি আমার পর আমার স্বগোত্রকে এবং আমার স্ত্রী বন্ধ্যা; কাজেই আপনি নিজের পক্ষ থেকে আমাকে এক জন কর্তব্য পালনকারী দান করুন।
”And Verily! I fear my relatives after me, since my wife is barren. So give me from Yourself an heir,

وَإِنِّي خِفْتُ الْمَوَالِيَ مِن وَرَائِي وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَتِي عَاقِرًا فَهَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا
Wa-innee khiftu almawaliya min wara-ee wakanati imraatee AAaqiran fahab lee min ladunka waliyyan

YUSUFALI: “Now I fear (what) my relatives (and colleagues) (will do) after me: but my wife is barren: so give me an heir as from Thyself,-
PICKTHAL: Lo! I fear my kinsfolk after me, since my wife is barren. Oh, give me from Thy presence a successor
SHAKIR: And surely I fear my cousins after me, and my wife is barren, therefore grant me from Thyself an heir,
KHALIFA: “I worry about my dependants after me, and my wife has been sterile. Grant me, from You, an heir.

০৫। ” [কিন্তু ] এখন আমি আশংকা করি, আমার পরে আমার আত্মীয় [ এবং সহকর্মীরা কি করবে ] ? কিন্তু আমার স্ত্রী বন্ধ্যা। সুতারাং তুমি তোমার নিকট থেকে আমাকে উত্তরাধিকারী দান কর ; ২৪৫৯

২৪৫৯। জাকারিয়া শুধুমাত্র পুত্র সন্তানের জন্য প্রার্থনা করেন নাই। যদি তিনি শুধুমাত্র বংশ রক্ষার জন্য পুত্র সন্তানের কামনা করতেন, তবে তিনি বহুপূর্বে তাঁর যৌবন কালেই তা করতেন। তিনি ছিলেন প্রকৃত ধার্মিক , সুতারাং তাঁর প্রার্থনায় ব্যক্তি স্বার্থ স্থান পেতে পারে না। তিনি যখন দেখলেন যে, আল্লাহ্‌র কাজের জন্য প্রকৃত যোগ্য লোকের ভবিষ্যতে প্রয়োজন হবে তখনই তিনি সকলের মঙ্গলের জন্য পূণ্যবান এক পুত্র সন্তানের কামনা করেন।

আয়াতঃ 019.006

সে আমার স্থলাভিষিক্ত হবে ইয়াকুব বংশের এবং হে আমার পালনকর্তা, তাকে করুন সন্তোষজনক।
”Who shall inherit me, and inherit (also) the posterity of Ya’qûb (Jacob) (inheritance of the religious knowledge and Prophethood, not the wealth, etc.). And make him, my Lord, one with whom You are Well-pleased!”.

يَرِثُنِي وَيَرِثُ مِنْ آلِ يَعْقُوبَ وَاجْعَلْهُ رَبِّ رَضِيًّا
Yarithunee wayarithu min ali yaAAqooba waijAAalhu rabbi radiyyan

YUSUFALI: “(One that) will (truly) represent me, and represent the posterity of Jacob; and make him, O my Lord! one with whom Thou art well-pleased!”
PICKTHAL: Who shall inherit of me and inherit (also) of the house of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, acceptable (unto Thee).
SHAKIR: Who should inherit me and inherit from the children of Yaqoub, and make him, my Lord, one in whom Thou art well pleased.
KHALIFA: “Let him be my heir and the heir of Jacob’s clan, and make him, my Lord, acceptable.”

০৬। [ এমন একজন ] যে আমার প্রতিনিধিত্ব করবে এবং প্রতিনিধিত্ব করবে ইয়াকুবের বংশের। এবং হে আমার প্রভু ! তুমি তাঁকে তোমার সন্তোষজনক বানিও ২৪৬০। ”

২৪৬০। উত্তরাধিকার কথাটির সাথে সম্পত্তির অংশীদারিত্ব জড়িত। আল্লাহ্‌র মোমেন বান্দা হিসেবে জাকারিয়ার পার্থিব সম্পদ না থাকাই স্বাভাবিক। কিন্তু তার ছিলো অমূল্য চারিত্রিক গুণরাজি। তিনি সেই অমূল্য চারিত্রিক সম্পদ সমূহ তাঁর পরবর্তী বংশধরদের মধ্যে প্রবাহিত করতে চেয়েছিলেন। নবী রসুলদের বংশ হিসেবে হযরত ইয়াকুবের বংশধরেরা এই সব অমূল্য নৈতিক ও চারিত্রিক গুণে সমৃদ্ধ ছিলেন। সুতারাং এই আয়াতে ‘প্রতিনিধিত্ব’ শব্দটি বৃহত্তর কর্তব্যের প্রতি দায়িত্বের আহ্বান। জাকারিয়া বৃদ্ধ বয়েসে অনুভব করতে পেরেছিলেন যে, তাঁর চারিপার্শ্বের লোকেরা আল্লাহ্‌র রাস্তা থেকে বিপথে পরিচালিত হচ্ছে। তাঁর উত্তরাধিকারী কি তাঁর মত তাদের সঠিক পথে পরিচালিত করতে পারবে ?

আয়াতঃ 019.007

হে যাকারিয়া, আমি তোমাকে এক পুত্রের সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছি, তার নাম হবে ইয়াহইয়া। ইতিপূর্বে এই নামে আমি কারও নাম করণ করিনি।
(Allâh said) ”O Zakariya (Zachariah)! Verily, We give you the glad tidings of a son, His name will be Yahya (John). We have given that name to none before (him).”

يَا زَكَرِيَّا إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَامٍ اسْمُهُ يَحْيَى لَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُ مِن قَبْلُ سَمِيًّا
Ya zakariyya inna nubashshiruka bighulamin ismuhu yahya lam najAAal lahu min qablu samiyyan

YUSUFALI: (His prayer was answered): “O Zakariya! We give thee good news of a son: His name shall be Yahya: on none by that name have We conferred distinction before.”
PICKTHAL: (It was said unto him): O Zachariah! Lo! We bring thee tidings of a son whose name is John; we have given the same name to none before (him).
SHAKIR: O Zakariya! surely We give you good news of a boy whose name shall be Yahya: We have not made before anyone his equal.
KHALIFA: “O Zachariah, we give you good news; a boy whose name shall be John (Yahya). We never created anyone like him before.”
