আয়াতঃ 091.012
যখন তাদের সর্বাধিক হতভাগ্য ব্যক্তি তৎপর হয়ে উঠেছিল।
When the most wicked man among them went forth (to kill the she-camel).
إِذِ انبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا
Ithi inbaAAatha ashqaha
YUSUFALI: Behold, the most wicked man among them was deputed (for impiety).
PICKTHAL: When the basest of them broke forth
SHAKIR: When the most unfortunate of them broke forth with
KHALIFA: They followed the worst among them.
১২। দেখো ! তাদের মধ্যে যে সর্বাপেক্ষা পাপিষ্ঠ, তাকে [ জঘন্য কাজের জন্য ] প্রতিনিধি করা হয়েছিলো ৬১৫৫।
৬১৫৫। গরীবের প্রতিনিধি স্বরূপ আল্লাহ্ সালেহ্ নবীকে একটি উষ্ট্রী দান করেন এবং আল্লাহ্র নিদর্শন স্বরূপ উষ্ট্রীটিকে তৃণভূমি ও পানির অধিকার দেয়ার হুকুম দান করেন। বলে দেয়া হয় যে যদি সামুদ জাতি আল্লাহ্র এই হুকুমের অবাধ্য হয়, তবে তাদের জন্য অপেক্ষা করছে ভয়াবহ শাস্তি [ ৭ : ৭৩ ]। কিন্তু সামুদ জাতির লোকেরা সালেহ নবীর কথা বিশ্বাস করে না এবং উষ্ট্রীটিকে বধ করার পরিকল্পনা করে। সম্ভবতঃ উষ্ট্রীটি যখন জলপ্রবাহের নিকট পানি পান করার জন্য গমন করে তখন তা বধ করা হয়। দেখুন [ ২৬ : ১৫৫] আয়াত এবং [ ৫৪ : ২৭ ] আয়াত।
আয়াতঃ 091.013
অতঃপর আল্লাহর রসূল তাদেরকে বলেছিলেনঃ আল্লাহর উষ্ট্রী ও তাকে পানি পান করানোর ব্যাপারে সতর্ক থাক।
But the Messenger of Allâh [Sâlih (Saleh) ] said to them: ”Be cautious! Fear the evil end. That is the she-camel of Allâh! (Do not harm it) and bar it not from having its drink!”
فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ نَاقَةَ اللَّهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا
Faqala lahum rasoolu Allahi naqata Allahi wasuqyaha
YUSUFALI: But the Messenger of Allah said to them: “It is a She-camel of Allah! And (bar her not from) having her drink!”
PICKTHAL: And the messenger of Allah said: It is the she-camel of Allah, so let her drink!
SHAKIR: So Allah’s messenger said to them (Leave alone) Allah’s she-camel, and (give) her (to) drink.
KHALIFA: GOD’s messenger said to them, “This is GOD’s camel; let her drink.”
১৩। তখন আল্লাহ্র রসুল ৬১৫৬ তাদের বলেছিলো, ” ইহা আল্লাহ্র উষ্ট্রী। উহাকে পানি পান করা থেকে [ বিরত করো না ]।”
৬১৫৬। এখানে আল্লাহ্র রাসুল দ্বারা সালেহ্ নবীকে বুঝানো হয়েছে। দেখুন উপরের টিকা।
আয়াতঃ 091.014
অতঃপর ওরা তার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল এবং উষ্ট্রীর পা কর্তন করেছিল। তাদের পাপের কারণে তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের উপর ধ্বংস নাযিল করে একাকার করে দিলেন।
Then they denied him and they killed it. So their Lord destroyed them because of their sin, and made them equal in destruction (i.e. all grades of people, rich and poor, strong and weak, etc.)!
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنبِهِمْ فَسَوَّاهَا
Fakaththaboohu faAAaqarooha fadamdama AAalayhim rabbuhum bithanbihim fasawwaha
YUSUFALI: Then they rejected him (as a false prophet), and they hamstrung her. So their Lord, on account of their crime, obliterated their traces and made them equal (in destruction, high and low)!
PICKTHAL: But they denied him, and they hamstrung her, so Allah doomed them for their sin and rased (their dwellings).
SHAKIR: But they called him a liar and slaughtered her, therefore their Lord crushed them for their sin and levelled them (with the ground).
KHALIFA: They disbelieved him and slaughtered her. Their Lord then requited them for their sin and annihilated them.
১৪। কিন্তু তারা তাকে [ সালেহ্ নবীকে] প্রত্যাখান করলো; এবং তারা উটনীর পা কেটে ফেললো ৬১৫৭। সুতারাং তাদের পাপের দরুণ,তাদের প্রভু তাদের শেষ চিহ্নও ধ্বংস করলেন এবং [ এভাবে ধনী ও গরীব সকলকে ] এক করে দিলেন [ ধ্বংসের মাধ্যমে ]।
৬১৫৭। এই প্রচন্ড অন্যায় ও পাপ কাজ সমাধা করার জন্য যে লোক নিযুক্ত হয়েছিলো, অবশ্যই তাঁর প্রতি সমগ্র সামুদ সম্প্রদায়ের সমর্থন ছিলো। সুতারাং পার্থক্য হচ্চে সে সম্প্রদায়ের অন্যান্য লোক অপেক্ষা অধিক সাহসী ও একগুঁয়ে ছিলো। সে কারণেই আল্লাহ্ তাঁকে “সর্বাধিক পাপিষ্ঠ ” বলেছেন। তবে যেহেতু পাপটি ছিলো সমগ্র সম্প্রদায়ের, সেজন্য আল্লাহ্ সমগ্র সামুদ জাতিকেই ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছিলেন।
আয়াতঃ 091.015
আল্লাহ তা’আলা এই ধ্বংসের কোন বিরূপ পরিণতির আশংকা করেন না।
And He (Allâh) feared not the consequences thereof.
وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَاهَا
Wala yakhafu AAuqbaha
YUSUFALI: And for Him is no fear of its consequences.
PICKTHAL: He dreadeth not the sequel (of events).
SHAKIR: And He fears not its consequence.
KHALIFA: Yet, those who came after them remain heedless.
