সূরা যুখরুফ বাংলা

৪৬২১। পৌত্তলিক আরবদের উপাস্য ছিলো দেবী বা স্ত্রী ভগবান। এখনও ভারতের পৌত্তলিকেরা যাকে ‘মা’ বলে সম্বোধন করে। আবার তারা দেবদূতদের আল্লাহ্‌র কন্যারূপে পরিগণিত করতো। এভাবেই তারা নিজেদের ধ্যান ধারণা অনুযায়ী আল্লাহ্‌র সংসার কল্পনা করতো। পৌত্তলিক আরবদের বৈশিষ্ট্য ছিলো তারা কন্যা সন্তানকে ঘৃণা করতো কিন্তু আল্লাহ্‌র জন্য তারা সেই কন্যা সন্তানই বরাদ্দ করেছিলো। এখনও পৌত্তলিক ভারতে ঠিক এই একই ধারণা প্রচলিত আছে। যে কন্যা সন্তানকে তারা ঘৃণা করতো সে অপাংক্তেয় কন্যা তারা কিভাবে আল্লাহ্‌র জন্য বরাদ্দ করে ?

আয়াতঃ 043.017

তারা রহমান আল্লাহর জন্যে যে, কন্যা-সন্তান বর্ণনা করে, যখন তাদের কাউকে তার সংবাদ দেয়া হয়, তখন তার মুখমন্ডল কালো হয়ে যায় এবং ভীষণ মনস্তাপ ভোগ করে।
And if one of them is informed of the news of (the birth of) that which he set forth as a parable to the Most Beneficent (Allâh) (i.e. of a girl), his face becomes dark, gloomy, and he is filled with grief!

وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَنِ مَثَلًا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
Wa-itha bushshira ahaduhum bima daraba lilrrahmani mathalan thalla wajhuhu muswaddan wahuwa katheemun

YUSUFALI: When news is brought to one of them of (the birth of) what he sets up as a likeness to (Allah) Most Gracious, his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief!
PICKTHAL: And if one of them hath tidings of that which he likeneth to the Beneficent One, his countenance becometh black and he is full of inward rage.
SHAKIR: And when one of them is given news of that of which he sets up as a likeness for the Beneficent Allah, his face becomes black and he is full of rage.
KHALIFA: When one of them is given news (of a daughter) as they claimed for the Most Gracious, his face is darkened with misery and anger!

১৭। আর দয়াময় আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতি ওরা যা আরোপ করে ওদের কাউকে যখন সেই সন্তানের [ জন্মের ] সংবাদ দেয়া হয়, তাদের মুখমন্ডল কালো হয়ে যায় এবং সে মর্ম যাতনায় ক্লিষ্ট হয় ৪৬২২।

৪৬২২। দেখুন [ ১৬ : ৫৭ – ৫৯ ] আয়াত এবং টিকাসমূহ। এই আয়াতে কঠোর পরিহাসচ্ছলে দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করা হয়েছে পৌত্তলিকদের নিন্দনীয় আচরণের প্রতি। যে কন্যা সন্তানের জন্য তারা লজ্জিত হয় এবংযে সন্তানকে তারা ঘৃণা করে থাকে সেই কন্যা সন্তান তারা কিভাবে আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতি আরোপ করে ?

আয়াতঃ 043.018

তারা কি এমন ব্যক্তিকে আল্লাহর জন্যে বর্ণনা করে, যে অলংকারে লালিত-পালিত হয় এবং বিতর্কে কথা বলতে অক্ষম।
(Do they then like for Allâh) a creature who is brought up in adornments (wearing silk and gold ornaments, i.e. women), and in dispute cannot make herself clear?

أَوَمَن يُنَشَّأُ فِي الْحِلْيَةِ وَهُوَ فِي الْخِصَامِ غَيْرُ مُبِينٍ
Awaman yunashshao fee alhilyati wahuwa fee alkhisami ghayru mubeenin

YUSUFALI: Is then one brought up among trinkets, and unable to give a clear account in a dispute (to be associated with Allah)?
PICKTHAL: (Liken they then to Allah) that which is bred up in outward show, and in dispute cannot make itself plain?
SHAKIR: What! that which is made in ornaments and which in contention is unable to make plain speech!
KHALIFA: (They say,) “What is good about an offspring that is brought up to be beautiful, and cannot help in war?”

১৮। যে [স্ত্রী জাতি ] অলঙ্কারে মন্ডিত হয়ে লালিত পালিত হয় এবং তর্ক বির্তক কালে স্পষ্ট বক্তব্যে অসমর্থ [সেকি আল্লাহ্‌র সন্তান হতে পারে ] ? ৪৬২৩

৪৬২৩। কন্যা সন্তান দুর্বলতার প্রতীক।সাধারণতঃ তাদের প্রতিপালিত করা হয় তুচ্ছ গহনা, অসাড় অলংকারে মুড়ে , উজ্জ্বল রেশমে আবৃত করে যেনো তারা তাদের লাজ নম্র আচরণ বলবৎ রাখে। তাদের বাইরের পৃথিবীর কঠিন বাস্তবতার মুখোমুখি হতে দেয়া হয় না। ফলে তারা সংসার সমরাঙ্গনে যুদ্ধ করতে বা নিজস্ব মতামত ব্যক্ত করতে অক্ষম। কারণ তাদের ব্যক্তিত্ব বা নিজস্ব মতামত গঠিত হওয়ার সুযোগই দান করা হয় না।তার অর্থ পৌত্তলিকরা কি আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতি কন্যা সন্তানের ন্যায় গুণাবলী আরোপ করে , আর সে কারণেই তারা আল্লাহ্‌র জন্য কন্যা সন্তানের কথা বলে ?

আয়াতঃ 043.019

তারা নারী স্থির করে ফেরেশতাগণকে, যারা আল্লাহর বান্দা। তারা কি তাদের সৃষ্টি প্রত্যক্ষ করেছে? এখন তাদের দাবী লিপিবদ্ধ করা হবে এবং তাদের জিজ্ঞাসা করা হবে।
And they make the angels who themselves are slaves to the Most Beneficent (Allâh) females. Did they witness their creation? Their evidence will be recorded, and they will be questioned!
