Wama kana qawlahum illa an qaloo rabbana ighfir lana thunoobana wa-israfana fee amrina wathabbit aqdamana waonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena
YUSUFALI: All that they said was: “Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything We may have done that transgressed our duty: Establish our feet firmly, and help us against those that resist Faith.”
PICKTHAL: Their cry was only that they said: Our Lord! forgive us for our sins and wasted efforts, make our foothold sure, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk.
SHAKIR: And their saying was no other than that they said: Our Lord! forgive us our faults and our extravagance in our affair and make firm our feet and help us against the unbelieving people.
KHALIFA: Their only utterance was, “Our Lord, forgive us our sins, and our transgressions, strengthen our foothold, and grant us victory over the disbelievers.”

So Allâh gave them the reward of this world, and the excellent reward of the Hereafter. And Allâh loves Al-Muhsinûn (the gooddoers – see the footnote of V.3:134).
Faatahumu Allahu thawaba alddunya wahusna thawabi al-akhirati waAllahu yuhibbu almuhsineena
YUSUFALI: And Allah gave them a reward in this world, and the excellent reward of the Hereafter. For Allah Loveth those who do good.
PICKTHAL: So Allah gave them the reward of the world and the good reward of the Hereafter. Allah loveth those whose deeds are good.
SHAKIR: So Allah gave them the reward of this world and better reward of the hereafter and Allah loves those who do good (to others).
KHALIFA: Consequently, GOD granted them the rewards of this world, and the better rewards of the Hereafter. GOD loves the good doers.

O you who believe! If you obey those who disbelieve, they will send you back on your heels, and you will turn back (from Faith) as losers.
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo in tuteeAAoo allatheena kafaroo yaruddookum AAala aAAqabikum fatanqaliboo khasireena
YUSUFALI: O ye who believe! If ye obey the Unbelievers, they will drive you back on your heels, and ye will turn back (from Faith) to your own loss.
PICKTHAL: O ye who believe! if ye obey those who disbelieve, they will make you turn back on your heels, and ye turn back as losers.
SHAKIR: O you who believe! if you obey those who disbelieve they will turn you back upon your heels, so you will turn back losers.
KHALIFA: O you who believe, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, then you end up losers.

Nay, Allâh is your Maulâ (Patron, Lord, Helper and Protector, etc.), and He is the Best of helpers.
Bali Allahu mawlakum wahuwa khayru alnnasireena
YUSUFALI: Nay, Allah is your protector, and He is the best of helpers.
PICKTHAL: But Allah is your Protector, and He is the Best of Helpers.
SHAKIR: Nay! Allah is your Patron and He is the best of the helpers.
KHALIFA: GOD alone is your Lord and Master, and He is the best supporter.

We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allâh, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers).
