সূরা বাকারা বাংলা

আয়াতঃ 002.012

মনে রেখো, তারাই হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টিকারী, কিন্তু তারা তা উপলব্ধি করে না।
Verily! They are the ones who make mischief, but they perceive not.

أَلا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَـكِن لاَّ يَشْعُرُونَ
Wa-itha qeela lahum aminoo kama amana alnnasu qaloo anu/minu kama amana alssufahao ala innahum humu alssufahao walakin la yaAAlamoona

YUSUFALI: Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not.
PICKTHAL: Are not they indeed the mischief-makers? But they perceive not.
SHAKIR: Now surely they themselves are the mischief makers, but they do not perceive.
KHALIFA: In fact, they are evildoers, but they do not perceive.

৩৫। যেহেতু মুনাফেকের ব্যাধি তার অন্তরে, তাদের ন্যায় ও অন্যায়ের মধ্যে পার্থক্য করার ক্ষমতা হবে তিরোহিত, ভাল ও মন্দের মধ্যে পার্থক্য করার অন্তর্দৃষ্টির হবে অভাব। ফলে এ রকম লোক যখন দেশের শাসন ব্যবস্থায় আসে অথবা কোনও দায়িত্বপূর্ণ পদ গ্রহণ করে এমন কি সমাজ-জীবনের যে কোন ক্ষু্দ্রতম কাজেও তারা অংশগ্রহণ করে; তখন সামাজিক শান্তি ও শৃঙ্খলা হয় বিঘ্নিত। তারা সমাজ-জীবনকে কলুষিত করে, অশান্তির সৃষ্টি করে। কারণ, আল্লাহ্‌ প্রদত্ত জ্ঞান, প্রজ্ঞা ও অন্তর্দৃষ্টি ব্যতীত সমাজ ও সংসারে শান্তি স্থাপন করা সম্ভব নয়। আর আল্লাহ্‌ প্রদত্ত জ্ঞান ও প্রজ্ঞা মুনাফিকের অন্তরে অনুপস্থিত। কিন্তু মুনাফিকেরা মনে করে তারা শান্তির জন্যই কাজ করছে-কারণ তাদের দূরদৃষ্টির অভাবে প্রকৃত শান্তি ও শৃঙ্খলার রূপ অনুধাবন করতে তারা হয় অপারগ।

আয়াতঃ 002.013

আর যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, অন্যান্যরা যেভাবে ঈমান এনেছে তোমরাও সেভাবে ঈমান আন, তখন তারা বলে, আমরাও কি ঈমান আনব বোকাদেরই মত! মনে রেখো, প্রকৃতপক্ষে তারাই বোকা, কিন্তু তারা তা বোঝে না।
And when it is said to them (hypocrites): ”Believe as the people (followers of Muhammad Peace be upon him , Al-Ansâr and Al-Muhajirûn) have believed,” they say: ”Shall we believe as the fools have believed?” Verily, they are the fools, but they know not.

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ آمِنُواْ كَمَا آمَنَ النَّاسُ قَالُواْ أَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَا آمَنَ السُّفَهَاء أَلا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ السُّفَهَاء وَلَـكِن لاَّ يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa-itha qeela lahum aminoo kama amana alnnasu qaloo anu/minu kama amana alssufahao ala innahum humu alssufahao walakin la yaAAlamoona

YUSUFALI: When it is said to them: “Believe as the others believe:” They say: “Shall we believe as the fools believe?” Nay, of a surety they are the fools, but they do not know.
PICKTHAL: And when it is said unto them: believe as the people believe, they say: shall we believe as the foolish believe? are not they indeed the foolish? But they know not.
SHAKIR: And when it is said to them: Believe as the people believe they say: Shall we believe as the fools believe? Now surely they themselves are the fools, but they do not know.
KHALIFA: When they are told, “Believe like the people who believed,” they say, “Shall we believe like the fools who believed?” In fact, it is they who are fools, but they do not know.

৩৬। মুনাফেকের চরিত্রের আর একটি প্রধান বৈশিষ্ট্য হচ্ছে এরা নিন্দুক হয়ে থাকে। এদের চরিত্রের অন্যতম প্রধান বৈশিষ্ট্য হচ্ছে আত্মম্ভরিতা ও অহংকার। নিজেকে সর্বদা সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ চিন্তা করা। যারা বিশ্বাসী ও ধার্মিক, তারা অবশ্যই আল্লাহ্‌র আইন মেনে চলবে । তারা হবে সত্য ও ন্যায়ের পূজারী। এটা মুনাফেকের চোখে বোকামীর সামিল কিন্তু তারা জানে না যে আল্লাহ্‌র চোখে মুনাফেকেরা অত্যন্ত ঘৃণ্য ও বোকা।

আয়াতঃ 002.014

আর তারা যখন ঈমানদারদের সাথে মিশে, তখন বলে, আমরা ঈমান এনেছি। আবার যখন তাদের শয়তানদের সাথে একান্তে সাক্ষাৎ করে, তখন বলে, আমরা তোমাদের সাথে রয়েছি। আমরা তো (মুসলমানদের সাথে) উপহাস করি মাত্রা।
And when they meet those who believe, they say: ”We believe,” but when they are alone with their Shayâtin (devils – polytheists, hypocrites, etc.), they say: ”Truly, we are with you; verily, we were but mocking.”
