সূরা রুম বাংলা

اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعْفٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ ضَعْفٍ قُوَّةً ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ ضَعْفًا وَشَيْبَةً يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاء وَهُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْقَدِيرُ
Allahu allathee khalaqakum min daAAfin thumma jaAAala min baAAdi daAAfin quwwatan thumma jaAAala min baAAdi quwwatin daAAfan washaybatan yakhluqu ma yashao wahuwa alAAaleemu alqadeeru

YUSUFALI: It is Allah Who created you in a state of (helpless) weakness, then gave (you) strength after weakness, then, after strength, gave (you weakness and a hoary head: He creates as He wills, and it is He Who has all knowledge and power.
PICKTHAL: Allah is He Who shaped you out of weakness, then appointed after weakness strength, then, after strength, appointed weakness and grey hair. He createth what He will. He is the Knower, the Mighty.
SHAKIR: Allah is He Who created you from a state of weakness then He gave strength after weakness, then ordained weakness and hoary hair after strength; He creates what He pleases, and He is the Knowing, the Powerful.
KHALIFA: GOD is the One who created you weak, then granted you after the weakness strength, then substituted after the strength weakness and gray hair. He creates whatever He wills. He is the Omniscient, the Omnipotent.

৫৪। আল্লাহ্‌-ই তোমাদের [অসহায় ] শক্তিহীন অবস্থায় সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর শক্তিহীনতার পরে তিনি [তোমাদের ] শক্তি দান করেছেন। তারপরে শক্তির পরে দেন দুর্বলতা ও শুভ্র মস্তিষ্ক [ বার্ধক্য হেতু ] ৩৫৭২। তিনি যে ভাবে ইচ্ছা সৃষ্টি করেন। সকল জ্ঞান ও ক্ষমতা তারই।

৩৫৭২। পূর্বে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে, তাদের কথা যারা আল্লাহ্‌র শিক্ষাকে প্রতিহত করে থাকে। এর অর্থ এই নয় যে, মন্দ বা পাপী আল্লাহ্‌র শক্তির উপরে ক্ষমতাবান। এই আয়াতে আল্লাহ্‌র শক্তি ও জ্ঞানকে অনুধাবন ও চিন্তা করার জন্য উপমার ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। জাগতিক পৃথিবীতে মানুষের জন্ম ও মৃত্যুকে উপমা হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে – দেখানো হয়েছে শক্তির প্রকাশকে হীনশক্তি বা দুর্বল থেকে, আবার শক্তির শেষ পরিণতি হীনশক্তিতে বা অসহায়ত্বে। মানব জন্মগ্রহণ করে অসহায় শিশুরূপে, পরিণত বয়সে যৌবনে সে শৌর্য -বীর্যের প্রতীক, আবার যৌবন বিদায়ে সে অসহায় বৃদ্ধ রূপে রূপান্তরিত হয়। একই মানুষের এই বিভিন্ন অবস্থার মাধ্যমে স্রষ্টা তাঁর জ্ঞানকে প্রকাশ করেছেন। এভাবেই আল্লাহ্‌ তাঁর বিচক্ষণ পরিকল্পনায় “যাহা ইচ্ছা সৃষ্টি করেন।” তা বাধা দেয়ার ক্ষমতা কারও নাই। তা বিপর্যয় করারও ক্ষমতা কেউ রাখে না।

আয়াতঃ 030.055

যেদিন কেয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে, সেদিন অপরাধীরা কসম খেয়ে বলবে যে, এক মুহুর্তেরও বেশী অবস্থান করিনি। এমনিভাবে তারা সত্যবিমুখ হত।
And on the Day that the Hour will be established, the Mujrimûn (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) will swear that they stayed not but an hour, thus were they ever deluded [away from the truth (i.e they used to tell lies and take false oaths, and turn away from the truth) in this life of the world)].

وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يُقْسِمُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُوا غَيْرَ سَاعَةٍ كَذَلِكَ كَانُوا يُؤْفَكُونَ
Wayawma taqoomu alssaAAatu yuqsimu almujrimoona ma labithoo ghayra saAAatin kathalika kanoo yu/fakoona

YUSUFALI: On the Day that the Hour (of Reckoning) will be established, the transgressors will swear that they tarried not but an hour: thus were they used to being deluded!
PICKTHAL: And on the day when the Hour riseth the guilty will vow that they did tarry but an hour – thus were they ever deceived.
SHAKIR: And at the time when the hour shall come, the guilty shall swear (that) they did not tarry but an hour; thus are they ever turned away.
KHALIFA: On the day when the Hour comes to pass, the guilty will swear that they lasted (in this world) only one hour. That is how wrong they were.

৫৫। যে দিন [ হিসাব -নিকাশের ] সময় প্রতিষ্ঠিত হবে ৩৫৭৩; সীমালংঘনকারীরা শপথ করে বলবে যে তারা এক ঘণ্টার বেশী অবস্থান করে নাই। এ ভাবেই তারা সত্য ভ্রষ্ট হতো।

৩৫৭৩। বর্তমান পৃথিবীতে নানাধরণের অসমতা ও পার্থক্য চোখে পড়ে। এখানে ভালোরা দুর্বল, এবং নির্যাতিত, অপরপক্ষে, অত্যাচারী পার্থিব উন্নতি করে ইত্যাদি। কিন্তু শেষ বিচারের দিনে এসব বৈষম্য দূর করে দেয়া হবে এবং সমতা আনায়ন করে প্রকৃত মূল্যবোধকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করা হবে। সেই সময় এতটাই হঠাৎ করে আসবে যে অপরাধীরা আশ্চর্যান্বিত হয়ে পড়বে। তারা বিভ্রান্ত হয়ে পড়বে, কারণ যে সময়কে তারা মনে করতো তাদের বিজয় হয়েছে, অথবা তারা মনে করতো তারা যা খুশী করতে পারে, সে সময় অনন্ত কাল স্থায়ী নয়। আল্লাহ্‌ তাদের কিছুটা অবসর দান করেছিলেন তাদের সংশোধনের জন্য এবং আল্লাহ্‌র অনুগ্রহ ও করুণা লাভের জন্য। যারা তা না পারে শাস্তি তাদের জন্য। অর্থাৎ যারা অপরাধী তারা এই পার্থিব জীবন নিয়ে এত মগ্ন থাকবে যে, তাদের ধ্যান ধারণায় পরলোকের জীবনের কোনও চিন্তাই স্থান পাবে না। তাদের ধারণা হবে, পৃথিবীর জীবনে শঠতা ও অন্যায় দ্বারা তারা যেরূপ সর্ব কাজে সাফল্য লাভ করতো, পরলোকের জীবনেও তারা সেরূপ আল্লাহ্‌র শাস্তিকে কৌশলে এড়ানোর জন্য সক্ষম হবে।
