YUSUFALI: He said: “O my Lord! For that Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace on me, never shall I be a help to those who sin!”
PICKTHAL: He said: My Lord! Forasmuch as Thou hast favoured me, I will nevermore be a supporter of the guilty.
SHAKIR: He said: My Lord! because Thou hast bestowed a favor on me, I shall never be a backer of the guilty.
KHALIFA: He said, “My Lord, in return for Your blessings upon me, I will never be a supporter of the guilty ones.”
১৬। সে প্রার্থনা করেছিলো, ” হে আমার প্রভু ! আমি সত্যিই নিজের আত্মার প্রতি অত্যাচার করেছি। এখন তুমি আমাকে ক্ষমা কর।” সুতারাং আল্লাহ্ তাঁকে ক্ষমা করলেন। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি বারে বারে ক্ষমাশীল , পরম করুণাময়।
১৭। সে বলেছিলো, ” হে আমার প্রভু! যেহেতু তুমি আমার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছ, সুতারাং আমি আর কখনও পাপীদের সাহায্যকারী হব না।” ৩৩৪৩
৩৩৪৩। আল্লাহ্র সন্তুষ্টির জন্য জীবন উৎসর্গ করার জন্য হযরত মুসা প্রতিজ্ঞা করেন একান্ত আন্তরিক ও অনুগত ভাবে। তিনি প্রতিজ্ঞা করেন যে,তিনি ভবিষ্যতে কখনও অপরাধীদের সাহায্য করবেন না। সম্ভবতঃ ইহুদীটি ছিলো কলহপ্রিয়, সেই কারণে মুসা অনুতপ্ত অবস্থায় উপরের প্রতিজ্ঞা করেন। কিন্তু তখনও দ্বিতীয় ঘটনাটি ঘটে নাই , যে ঘটনার পরিণামে তাঁকে মিশর ত্যাগ করতে হয়।
আয়াতঃ 028.018
অতঃপর তিনি প্রভাতে উঠলেন সে শহরে ভীত-শংকিত অবস্থায়। হঠাৎ তিনি দেখলেন, গতকল্য যে ব্যক্তি তাঁর সাহায্য চেয়েছিল, সে চিৎকার করে তাঁর সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করছে। মূসা তাকে বললেন, তুমি তো একজন প্রকাশ্য পথভ্রষ্ট ব্যক্তি।
So he became afraid, looking about in the city (waiting as to what will be the result of his crime of killing), when behold, the man who had sought his help the day before, called for his help (again). Mûsa (Moses) said to him: ”Verily, you are a plain misleader!”
فَأَصْبَحَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ خَائِفًا يَتَرَقَّبُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي اسْتَنصَرَهُ بِالْأَمْسِ يَسْتَصْرِخُهُ قَالَ لَهُ مُوسَى إِنَّكَ لَغَوِيٌّ مُّبِينٌ
Faasbaha fee almadeenati kha-ifan yataraqqabu fa-itha allathee istansarahu bial-amsi yastasrikhuhu qala lahu moosa innaka laghawiyyun mubeenun
YUSUFALI: So he saw the morning in the city, looking about, in a state of fear, when behold, the man who had, the day before, sought his help called aloud for his help (again). Moses said to him: “Thou art truly, it is clear, a quarrelsome fellow!”
PICKTHAL: And morning found him in the city, fearing, vigilant, when behold! he who had appealed to him the day before cried out to him for help. Moses said unto him: Lo! thou art indeed a mere hothead.
SHAKIR: And he was in the city, fearing, awaiting, when lo! he who had asked his assistance the day before was crying out to him for aid. Musa said to him: You are most surely one erring manifestly.
KHALIFA: In the morning, he was in the city, afraid and watchful. The one who sought his help yesterday, asked for his help again. Moses said to him, “You are really a trouble maker.”
১৮। অতঃপর ভীত-সতর্ক অবস্থায় সেই নগরীতে তাঁর প্রভাত হলো। হঠাৎ সে শুনতে পেলো, পূর্বদিন যে ব্যক্তি তার সাহায্য চেয়েছিলো সে চীৎকার করে [ পুণরায় ] তার সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করছে। মুসা তাকে বললো, ” এটা পরিষ্কার যে, তুমি একজন ঝগড়াটে ব্যক্তি ৩৩৪৪।”
৩৩৪৪। লোকটি ছিলো পূর্বদিনের ইসরাঈলী। এদিন মুসা তাকে সাহায্যের জন্য আগ্রহ বোধ করলেন না কারণ বলা হয়েছে টিকা ৩৩৪২ এ। মুসা অত্যন্ত ক্রুব্ধ বোধ করেন।
আয়াতঃ 028.019
অতঃপর মূসা যখন উভয়ের শত্রুকে শায়েস্তা করতে চাইলেন, তখন সে বলল, গতকল্য তুমি যেমন এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করেছিলে, সে রকম আমাকেও কি হত্যা করতে চাও? তুমি তো পৃথিবীতে স্বৈরাচারী হতে চাচ্ছ এবং সন্ধি স্থাপনকারী হতে চাও না।
Then when he decided to seize the man who was an enemy to both of them, the man said: ”O Mûsa (Moses)! Is it your intention to kill me as you killed a man yesterday? Your aim is nothing but to become a tyrant in the land, and not to be one of those who do right.”
فَلَمَّا أَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَبْطِشَ بِالَّذِي هُوَ عَدُوٌّ لَّهُمَا قَالَ يَا مُوسَى أَتُرِيدُ أَن تَقْتُلَنِي كَمَا قَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا بِالْأَمْسِ إِن تُرِيدُ إِلَّا أَن تَكُونَ جَبَّارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا تُرِيدُ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِينَ
Falamma an arada an yabtisha biallathee huwa AAaduwwun lahuma qala ya moosa atureedu an taqtulanee kama qatalta nafsan bial-amsi in tureedu illa an takoona jabbaran fee al-ardi wama tureedu an takoona mina almusliheena
