قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن جَعَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمُ النَّهَارَ سَرْمَدًا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مَنْ إِلَهٌ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِلَيْلٍ تَسْكُنُونَ فِيهِ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
Qul araaytum in jaAAala Allahu AAalaykumu alnnahara sarmadan ila yawmi alqiyamati man ilahun ghayru Allahi ya/teekum bilaylin taskunoona feehi afala tubsiroona
YUSUFALI: Say: See ye? If Allah were to make the day perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah, who can give you a night in which ye can rest? Will ye not then see?
PICKTHAL: Say: Have ye thought, if Allah made day everlasting for you till the Day of Resurrection, who is a god beside Allah who could bring you night wherein ye rest? Will ye not then see?
SHAKIR: Say: Tell me, if Allah were to make the day to continue incessantly on you till the day of resurrection, who is the god besides Allah that could bring you the night in which you take rest? Do you not then see?
KHALIFA: Say, “What if GOD made the daylight perpetual, until the Day of Resurrection? Which god, other than GOD, can provide you with a night for your rest? Do you not see?”
৭২। বল; ” তোমরা কি চিন্তা করে দেখেছ ? আল্লাহ্ যদি দিনকে শেষ বিচারের দিন পর্যন্ত চিরস্থায়ী করতেন, তবে আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত এমন কোন উপাস্য আছে কি , যে তোমাদের বিশ্রামের জন্য রাত্রি দান করতে পারতো ? তবু কি তোমরা ভেবে দেখবে না ? “৩৪০০
৩৪০০। আয়াত [ ২৮ : ৭১ ] এ চিরস্থায়ী রাত্রির কথা বলা হয়েছে। অনন্ত বিশ্রাম মৃত্যুর সমতুল্য যা মানুষের মানসিক দক্ষতাকে পঙ্গু করে ফেলে। সুতারাং আয়াতটি শেষ করা হয়েছে যে কোনও র্বাতা শোনা বা উপলব্ধি করার মানসিক দক্ষতার কাছে আবেদন করে বলা হয়েছে : ” তোমরা কি ভেবে দেখবে না ? ” এই আয়াতে [ ২৮ : ৭২ ] চিরস্থায়ী দিনের উল্লেখ আছে। দিনের সাথে দেখার ও অভিজ্ঞতা সঞ্চয়ের সম্পর্ক বিদ্যমান। সুতারাং এই আয়াতটি ” ভেবে দেখবে না ” বাক্যটি দ্বারা শেষ করা হয়েছে। কারণ মানুষ জাগ্রত অবস্থায় আল্লাহ্র অনুগ্রহ অন্বেষণের মাধ্যমে অভিজ্ঞতা সঞ্চয় করে , চিন্তা করে, অনুভব করে , উপলব্ধি করে। পৃথিবীর অভিজ্ঞতা বিভিন্ন ইন্দ্রিয়ের মাধ্যমে ব্যক্তির সত্ত্বার মাঝে প্রবেশ করে এবং তার অভিজ্ঞতার ভান্ডার সমৃদ্ধ করে। আত্মার অভিজ্ঞতাকে সমৃদ্ধ করার এটা কি স্রষ্টার এক বিশেষ অবদান নয়?
আয়াতঃ 028.073
তিনিই স্বীয় রহমতে তোমাদের জন্যে রাত ও দিন করেছেন, যাতে তোমরা তাতে বিশ্রাম গ্রহণ কর ও তাঁর অনুগ্রহ অন্বেষণ কর এবং যাতে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর।
It is out of His Mercy that He has put for you night and day, that you may rest therein (i.e. during the night) and that you may seek of His Bounty (i.e. during the day), and in order that you may be grateful.
وَمِن رَّحْمَتِهِ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
Wamin rahmatihi jaAAala lakumu allayla waalnnahara litaskunoo feehi walitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona
YUSUFALI: It is out of His Mercy that He has made for you Night and Day,- that ye may rest therein, and that ye may seek of his Grace;- and in order that ye may be grateful.
PICKTHAL: Of His mercy hath He appointed for you night and day, that therein ye may rest, and that ye may seek His bounty, and that haply ye may be thankful.
SHAKIR: And out of His mercy He has made for you the night and the day, that you may rest therein, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may give thanks.
KHALIFA: It is mercy from Him that He created for you the night and the day in order to rest (during the night), then seek His provisions (during the day), that you may be appreciative.
৭৩। এটা তাঁর একান্ত দয়া যে, তিনি তোমাদের জন্য রাত্রি ও দিনকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন – যেনো তোমরা তাতে বিশ্রাম করতে পার ও তাঁর অনুগ্রহ সন্ধান করতে পার; – এবং যেনো তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করতে পার।
৭৪। সেদিন তিনি তাদের ডেকে জিজ্ঞাসা করবেন, ” আমার শরীকরা কোথায় – যাদের তোমরা [ শরীক বলে ] কল্পনা করতে ? ” ৩৪০১
৩৪০১। দেখুন আয়াত [ ২৮ : ৬২ ] আয়াত। এই আয়াতটি দ্বারা এই পরিচ্ছেদের সমাপ্তি করা হয়েছে।
আয়াতঃ 028.074
যেদিন আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ডেকে বলবেন, তোমরা যাদেরকে আমার শরীক মনে করতে, তারা কোথায়?
And (remember) the Day when He (your Lord Allâh) will call them (those who worshipped others along with Allâh), and will say: ”Where are My (so-called) partners, whom you used to assert?”
