These are Verses of the manifest Book (that makes clear truth from falsehood, good from evil, etc.).
تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ
Tilka ayatu alkitabi almubeeni
YUSUFALI: These are Verses of the Book that makes (things) clear.
PICKTHAL: These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain.
SHAKIR: These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear.
KHALIFA: These (letters) constitute proofs of this profound book.

আমি আপনার কাছে মূসা ও ফেরাউনের বৃত্তান্ত সত্য সহকারে বর্ণনা করছি ঈমানদার সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে।
We recite to you some of the news of Mûsa (Moses) and Fir’aun (Pharaoh) in truth, for a people who believe (those who believe in this Qur’ân, and in the Oneness of Allâh).
نَتْلُوا عَلَيْكَ مِن نَّبَإِ مُوسَى وَفِرْعَوْنَ بِالْحَقِّ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Natloo AAalayka min naba-i moosa wafirAAawna bialhaqqi liqawmin yu/minoona
YUSUFALI: We rehearse to thee some of the story of Moses and Pharaoh in Truth, for people who believe.
PICKTHAL: We narrate unto thee (somewhat) of the story of Moses and Pharaoh with truth, for folk who believe.
SHAKIR: We recite to you from the account of Musa and Firon with truth for people who believe.
KHALIFA: We recite to you herein some history of Moses and Pharaoh, truthfully, for the benefit of people who believe.
০৩। আমি তোমার নিকট মুসা ও ফিরআউনের কাহিনী যথাযথ ভাবে বর্ণনা করেছি বিশ্বাসী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য ৩৩২৮।
৩৩২৮। হযরত মুসার কাহিনীর কিছু কিছু অংশ এই সূরাতে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে যেগুলি হচ্ছে : কিভাবে মুসার শৈশবে আল্লাহ্ তাঁর মাকে অনুপ্রাণীত করেন। মুসা যখন বড় হতে থাকেন, আল্লাহ্ কিভাবে তাঁকে মহত্তর ও বৃহত্তর উদ্দেশ্যের জন্য প্রস্তুত করেন। যৌবনে মুসা কিভাবে বিপদ বিপর্যয়ের মাঝে শুধুমাত্র আল্লাহ্র উপরে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেন, শুধু তাঁরই সাহায্য কামনা করেন। কিভাবে তিনি নির্বাসনে পলায়ন করেও অপরের ভালোবাসা ও সাহায্য সহযোগীতা লাভ করেন তার ভালো কাজের দরুন। দায়িত্ব প্রাপ্তির পরে , আল্লাহ্র অনুগ্রহে কি ভাবে তিনি শত্রুদের পরিকল্পনা ধূলিস্যাৎ করেন। এ সব বর্ণনা দ্বারা প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে যে, আল্লাহ্র পরিকল্পনা ক্রমাগত ধীরে ধীরে কাজ করে যাবে। যারা বিশ্বাসী ,তাঁরা জীবনের সর্বক্ষেত্রে আল্লাহ্র হাতের স্পর্শ অনুভব করতে পারবে আত্মার মাঝে এবং প্রত্যাদেশের মাধ্যমে , যে আলো তাদের জন্য প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে, তাকে সাদর সম্ভাষণ জানাবে। এ সব কাহিনীর মাধ্যমে মুমিনদের আল্লাহ্র কার্যপ্রণালী অনুধাবনের উপদেশ দেয়া হয়েছে।
আয়াতঃ 028.004
ফেরাউন তার দেশে উদ্ধত হয়েছিল এবং সে দেশবাসীকে বিভিন্ন দলে বিভক্ত করে তাদের একটি দলকে দূর্বল করে দিয়েছিল। সে তাদের পুত্র-সন্তানদেরকে হত্যা করত এবং নারীদেরকে জীবিত রাখত। নিশ্চয় সে ছিল অনর্থ সৃষ্টিকারী।
Verily, Fir’aun (Pharaoh) exalted himself in the land and made its people sects, weakening (oppressing) a group (i.e. Children of Israel) among them, killing their sons, and letting their females live. Verily, he was of the Mufsidûn (i.e. those who commit great sins and crimes, oppressors, tyrants, etc.).
إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ عَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهْلَهَا شِيَعًا يَسْتَضْعِفُ طَائِفَةً مِّنْهُمْ يُذَبِّحُ أَبْنَاءهُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيِي نِسَاءهُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Inna firAAawna AAala fee al-ardi wajaAAala ahlaha shiyaAAan yastadAAifu ta-ifatan minhum yuthabbihu abnaahum wayastahyee nisaahum innahu kana mina almufsideena
YUSUFALI: Truly Pharaoh elated himself in the land and broke up its people into sections, depressing a small group among them: their sons he slew, but he kept alive their females: for he was indeed a maker of mischief.
PICKTHAL: Lo! Pharaoh exalted himself in the earth and made its people castes. A tribe among them he oppressed, killing their sons and sparing their women. Lo! he was of those who work corruption.
SHAKIR: Surely Firon exalted himself in the land and made its people into parties, weakening one party from among them; he slaughtered their sons and let their women live; surely he was one of the mischiefmakers.
KHALIFA: Pharaoh turned into a tyrant on earth, and discriminated against some people. He persecuted a helpless group of them, slaughtering their sons, while sparing their daughters. He was indeed wicked.
