সূরা তাওবা বাংলা

আয়াতঃ 009.080

তুমি তাদের জন্য ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর আর না কর। যদি তুমি তাদের জন্য সত্তর বারও ক্ষমাপ্রার্থনা কর, তথাপি কখনোই তাদেরকে আল্লাহ ক্ষমা করবেন না। তা এজন্য যে, তারা আল্লাহকে এবং তাঁর রসূলকে অস্বীকার করেছে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ না-ফারমানদেরকে পথ দেখান না।
Whether you (O Muhammad SAW) ask forgiveness for them (hypocrites) or ask not forgiveness for them … (and even) if you ask seventy times for their forgiveness … Allâh will not forgive them, because they have disbelieved in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW). And Allâh guides not those people who are Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

اسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ أَوْ لاَ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ إِن تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً فَلَن يَغْفِرَ اللّهُ لَهُمْ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ
Istaghfir lahum aw la tastaghfir lahum in tastaghfir lahum sabAAeena marratan falan yaghfira Allahu lahum thalika bi-annahum kafaroo biAllahi warasoolihi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena

YUSUFALI: Whether thou ask for their forgiveness, or not, (their sin is unforgivable): if thou ask seventy times for their forgiveness, Allah will not forgive them: because they have rejected Allah and His Messenger: and Allah guideth not those who are perversely rebellious.
PICKTHAL: Ask forgiveness for them (O Muhammad), or ask not forgiveness for them; though thou ask forgiveness for them seventy times Allah will not forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His messenger, and Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.
SHAKIR: Ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah will not forgive them; this is because they disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the transgressing people.
KHALIFA: Whether you ask forgiveness for them, or do not ask forgiveness for them – even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times – GOD will not forgive them. This is because they disbelieve in GOD and His messenger. GOD does not guide the wicked people.

আয়াতঃ 009.081

পেছনে থেকে যাওয়া লোকেরা আল্লাহর রসূল থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে বসে থাকতে পেরে আনন্দ লাভ করেছে; আর জান ও মালের দ্বারা আল্লাহর রাহে জেহাদ করতে অপছন্দ করেছে এবং বলেছে, এই গরমের মধ্যে অভিযানে বের হয়ো না। বলে দাও, উত্তাপে জাহান্নামের আগুন প্রচন্ডতম। যদি তাদের বিবেচনা শক্তি থাকত।
Those who stayed away (from Tabuk expedition) rejoiced in their staying behind the Messenger of Allâh; they hated to strive and fight with their properties and their lives in the Cause of Allâh, and they said: ”March not forth in the heat.” Say: ”The Fire of Hell is more intense in heat”, if only they could understand!

فَرِحَ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ بِمَقْعَدِهِمْ خِلاَفَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ وَكَرِهُواْ أَن يُجَاهِدُواْ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَقَالُواْ لاَ تَنفِرُواْ فِي الْحَرِّ قُلْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ أَشَدُّ حَرًّا لَّوْ كَانُوا يَفْقَهُونَ
Fariha almukhallafoona bimaqAAadihim khilafa rasooli Allahi wakarihoo an yujahidoo bi-amwalihim waanfusihim fee sabeeli Allahi waqaloo la tanfiroo fee alharri qul naru jahannama ashaddu harran law kanoo yafqahoona

YUSUFALI: Those who were left behind (in the Tabuk expedition) rejoiced in their inaction behind the back of the Messenger of Allah: they hated to strive and fight, with their goods and their persons, in the cause of Allah: they said, “Go not forth in the heat.” Say, “The fire of Hell is fiercer in heat.” If only they could understand!
PICKTHAL: Those who were left behind rejoiced at sitting still behind the messenger of Allah, and were averse to striving with their wealth and their lives in Allah’s way. And they said: Go not forth in the heat! Say: The fire of hell is more intense of heat, if they but understood.
SHAKIR: Those who were left behind were glad on account of their sitting behind Allah’s Messenger and they were averse from striving m Allah’s way with their property and their persons, and said: Do not go forth in the heat. Say: The fire of hell is much severe in heat. Would that they understood (it).
KHALIFA: The sedentary rejoiced in their staying behind the messenger of GOD, and hated to strive with their money and their lives in the cause of GOD. They said, “Let us not mobilize in this heat!” Say, “The fire of Hell is much hotter,” if they could only comprehend.
