আয়াতঃ 009.077
তারপর এরই পরিণতিতে তাদের অন্তরে কপটতা স্থান করে নিয়েছে সেদিন পর্যন্ত, যেদিন তার তাঁর সাথে গিয়ে মিলবে। তা এজন্য যে, তারা আল্লাহর সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা লংঘন করেছিল এবং এজন্যে যে, তারা মিথ্যা কথা বলতো।
So He punished them by putting hypocrisy into their hearts till the Day whereon they shall meet Him, because they broke that (covenant with Allâh) which they had promised Him and because they used to tell lies.
فَأَعْقَبَهُمْ نِفَاقًا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ يَلْقَوْنَهُ بِمَا أَخْلَفُواْ اللّهَ مَا وَعَدُوهُ وَبِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْذِبُونَ
FaaAAqabahum nifaqan fee quloobihim ila yawmi yalqawnahu bima akhlafoo Allaha ma waAAadoohu wabima kanoo yakthiboona
YUSUFALI: So He hath put as a consequence hypocrisy into their hearts, (to last) till the Day, whereon they shall meet Him: because they broke their covenant with Allah, and because they lied (again and again).
PICKTHAL: So He hath made the consequence (to be) hypocrisy in their hearts until the day when they shall meet Him, because they broke their word to Allah that they promised Him, and because they lied.
SHAKIR: So He made hypocrisy to follow as a consequence into their hearts till the day when they shall meet Him because they failed to perform towards Allah what they had promised with Him and because they told lies.
KHALIFA: Consequently, He plagued them with hypocrisy in their hearts, till the day they meet Him. This is because they broke their promises to GOD, and because of their lying.
আয়াতঃ 009.078
তারা কি জেনে নেয়নি যে, আল্লাহ তাদের রহস্য ও শলা-পরামর্শ সম্পর্কে অবগত এবং আল্লাহ খুব ভাল করেই জানেন সমস্ত গোপন বিষয় ?
Know they not that Allâh knows their secret ideas, and their Najwa (secret counsels), and that Allâh is the All-Knower of the unseen.
أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَاهُمْ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُيُوبِ
Alam yaAAlamoo anna Allaha yaAAlamu sirrahum wanajwahum waanna Allaha AAallamu alghuyoobi
YUSUFALI: Know they not that Allah doth know their secret (thoughts) and their secret counsels, and that Allah knoweth well all things unseen?
PICKTHAL: Know they not that Allah knoweth both their secret and the thought that they confide, and that Allah is the Knower of Things Hidden?
SHAKIR: Do they not know that Allah knows their hidden thoughts and their secret counsels, and that Allah is the great Knower of the unseen things?
KHALIFA: Do they not realize that GOD knows their secrets, and their conspiracies, and that GOD is the Knower of all secrets?
আয়াতঃ 009.079
সে সমস্ত লোক যারা ভৎর্সনা-বিদ্রূপ করে সেসব মুসলমানদের প্রতি যারা মন খুলে দান-খয়রাত করে এবং তাদের প্রতি যাদের কিছুই নেই শুধুমাত্র নিজের পরিশ্রমলব্দ বস্তু ছাড়া। অতঃপর তাদের প্রতি ঠাট্টা করে। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি ঠাট্টা করেছেন এবং তাদের জন্য রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
Those who defame such of the believers who give charity voluntarily , and those who could not find to give charity except what is available to them , Allah will throw back their mockery
on them, and they shall have a painful torment.
الَّذِينَ يَلْمِزُونَ الْمُطَّوِّعِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ وَالَّذِينَ لاَ يَجِدُونَ إِلاَّ جُهْدَهُمْ فَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُمْ سَخِرَ اللّهُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Allatheena yalmizoona almuttawwiAAeena mina almu/mineena fee alssadaqati waallatheena la yajidoona illa juhdahum fayaskharoona minhum sakhira Allahu minhum walahum AAathabun aleemun
YUSUFALI: Those who slander such of the believers as give themselves freely to (deeds of) charity, as well as such as can find nothing to give except the fruits of their labour,- and throw ridicule on them,- Allah will throw back their ridicule on them: and they shall have a grievous penalty.
PICKTHAL: Those who point at such of the believers as give the alms willingly and such as can find naught to give but their endeavours, and deride them – Allah (Himself) derideth them. Theirs will be a painful doom.
SHAKIR: They who taunt those of the faithful who give their alms freely, and those who give to the extent of their earnings and scoff at them; Allah will pay them back their scoffing, and they shall have a painful chastisement.
KHALIFA: Those who criticize the generous believers for giving too much, and ridicule the poor believers for giving too little, GOD despises them. They have incurred a painful retribution.
