আয়াতঃ 009.055
সুতরাং তাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি যেন আপনাকে বিস্মিত না করে। আল্লাহর ইচ্ছা হল এগুলো দ্বারা দুনিয়ার জীবনে তাদের আযাবে নিপতিত রাখা এবং প্রাণবিয়োগ হওয়া কুফরী অবস্থায়।
So let not their wealth or their children amaze you (O Muhammad SAW); in reality Allâh’s Plan is to punish them with these things in the life of the this world, and that their souls shall depart (die) while they are disbelievers.
فَلاَ تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلاَ أَوْلاَدُهُمْ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ
Fala tuAAjibka amwaluhum wala awladuhum innama yureedu Allahu liyuAAaththibahum biha fee alhayati alddunya watazhaqa anfusuhum wahum kafiroona
YUSUFALI: Let not their wealth nor their (following in) sons dazzle thee: in reality Allah’s plan is to punish them with these things in this life, and that their souls may perish in their (very) denial of Allah.
PICKTHAL: So let not their riches nor their children please thee (O Muhammad). Allah thereby intendeth but to punish them in the life of the world and that their souls shall pass away while they are disbelievers.
SHAKIR: Let not then their property and their children excite your admiration; Allah only wishes to chastise them with these in this world’s life and (that) their souls may depart while they are unbelievers.
KHALIFA: Do not be impressed by their money, or their children. GOD causes these to be sources of retribution for them in this life, and (when they die) their souls depart while they are disbelievers.
আয়াতঃ 009.056
তারা আল্লাহর নামে হলফ করে বলে যে, তারা তোমাদেরই অন্তর্ভুক্ত, অথচ তারা তোমাদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত নয়, অবশ্য তারা তোমাদের ভয় করে।
They swear by Allâh that they are truly of you while they are not of you, but they are a people (hypocrites) who are afraid (that you may kill them).
وَيَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ إِنَّهُمْ لَمِنكُمْ وَمَا هُم مِّنكُمْ وَلَـكِنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ يَفْرَقُونَ
Wayahlifoona biAllahi innahum laminkum wama hum minkum walakinnahum qawmun yafraqoona
YUSUFALI: They swear by Allah that they are indeed of you; but they are not of you: yet they are afraid (to appear in their true colours).
PICKTHAL: And they swear by Allah that they are in truth of you, when they are not of you, but they are folk who are afraid.
SHAKIR: And they swear by Allah that they are most surely of you, and they are not of you, but they are a people who are afraid (of you).
KHALIFA: They swear by GOD that they belong with you, while they do not belong with you; they are divisive people.
আয়াতঃ 009.057
তারা কোন আশ্রয়স্থল, কোন গুহা বা মাথা গোঁজার ঠাই পেলে সেদিকে পলায়ন করবে দ্রুতগতিতে।
Should they find a refuge, or caves, or a place of concealment, they would turn straightway thereto with a swift rush.
لَوْ يَجِدُونَ مَلْجَأً أَوْ مَغَارَاتٍ أَوْ مُدَّخَلاً لَّوَلَّوْاْ إِلَيْهِ وَهُمْ يَجْمَحُونَ
Law yajidoona maljaan aw magharatin aw muddakhalan lawallaw ilayhi wahum yajmahoona
YUSUFALI: If they could find a place to flee to, or caves, or a place of concealment, they would turn straightaway thereto, with an obstinate rush.
PICKTHAL: Had they but found a refuge, or caverns, or a place to enter, they surely had resorted thither swift as runaways.
SHAKIR: If they could find a refuge or cave or a place to enter into, they would certainly have turned thereto, running away in all haste.
KHALIFA: If they could find a refuge, or caves, or a hiding place, they would go to it, rushing.
আয়াতঃ 009.058
তাদের মধ্যে এমন লোকও রয়েছে যারা সদকা বন্টনে আপনাকে দোষারূপ করে। এর থেকে কিছু পেলে সন্তুষ্ট হয় এবং না পেলে বিক্ষুব্ধ হয়।
And of them are some who accuse you (O Muhammad SAW) in the matter of (the distribution of) the alms. If they are given part thereof, they are pleased, but if they are not given thereof, behold! They are enraged!
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَلْمِزُكَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ فَإِنْ أُعْطُواْ مِنْهَا رَضُواْ وَإِن لَّمْ يُعْطَوْاْ مِنهَا إِذَا هُمْ يَسْخَطُونَ
Waminhum man yalmizuka fee alssadaqati fa-in oAAtoo minha radoo wa-in lam yuAAtaw minha itha hum yaskhatoona
