সূরা তাওবা বাংলা

আয়াতঃ 009.049

আর তাদের কেউ বলে, আমাকে অব্যাহতি দিন এবং পথভ্রষ্ট করবেন না। শোনে রাখ, তারা তো পূর্ব থেকেই পথভ্রষ্ট এবং নিঃসন্দেহে জাহান্নাম এই কাফেরদের পরিবেষ্টন করে রয়েছে।
And among them is he who says:”Grant me leave (to be exempted from Jihâd) and put me not into trial.” Surely, they have fallen into trial. And verily, Hell is surrounding the disbelievers.

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ ائْذَن لِّي وَلاَ تَفْتِنِّي أَلاَ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ سَقَطُواْ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌ بِالْكَافِرِينَ
Waminhum man yaqoolu i/than lee wala taftinnee ala fee alfitnati saqatoo wa-inna jahannama lamuheetatun bialkafireena

YUSUFALI: Among them is (many) a man who says: “Grant me exemption and draw me not into trial.” Have they not fallen into trial already? and indeed Hell surrounds the Unbelievers (on all sides).
PICKTHAL: Of them is he who saith: Grant me leave (to stay at home) and tempt me not. Surely it is into temptation that they (thus) have fallen. Lo! hell verily is all around the disbelievers.
SHAKIR: And among them there is he who says: Allow me and do not try me. Surely into trial have they already tumbled down, and most surely hell encompasses the unbelievers.
KHALIFA: Some of them would say, “Give me permission (to stay behind); do not impose such a hardship on me.” In fact, they have thus incurred a terrible hardship; Hell is surrounding the disbelievers.

আয়াতঃ 009.050

আপনার কোন কল্যাণ হলে তারা মন্দবোধ করে এবং কোন বিপদ উপস্থিত হলে তারা বলে, আমরা পূর্ব থেকেই নিজেদের কাজ সামলে নিয়েছি এবং ফিরে যায় উল্লসিত মনে।
If good befalls you (O Muhammad SAW), it grieves them, but if a calamity overtakes you, they say: ”We took our precaution beforehand,” and they turn away rejoicing.

إِن تُصِبْكَ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِن تُصِبْكَ مُصِيبَةٌ يَقُولُواْ قَدْ أَخَذْنَا أَمْرَنَا مِن قَبْلُ وَيَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُمْ فَرِحُونَ
In tusibka hasanatun tasu/hum wa-in tusibka museebatun yaqooloo qad akhathna amrana min qablu wayatawallaw wahum farihoona

YUSUFALI: If good befalls thee, it grieves them; but if a misfortune befalls thee, they say, “We took indeed our precautions beforehand,” and they turn away rejoicing.
PICKTHAL: If good befalleth thee (O Muhammad) it afflicteth them, and if calamity befalleth thee, they say: We took precaution, and they turn away well pleased.
SHAKIR: If good befalls you, it grieves them, and if hardship afflicts you, they say: Indeed we had taken care of our affair before; and they turn back and are glad.
KHALIFA: If something good happens to you, they hurt, and if an affliction befalls you, they say, “We told you so,” as they turn away rejoicing.

আয়াতঃ 009.051

আপনি বলুন, আমাদের কাছে কিছুই পৌঁছবে না, কিন্তু যা আল্লাহ আমাদের জন্য রেখেছেন; তিনি আমাদের কার্যনির্বাহক। আল্লাহর উপরই মুমিনদের ভরসা করা উচিত।
Say: ”Nothing shall ever happen to us except what Allâh has ordained for us. He is our Maulâ (Lord, Helper and Protector).” And in Allâh let the believers put their trust.

قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَا إِلاَّ مَا كَتَبَ اللّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوْلاَنَا وَعَلَى اللّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Qul lan yuseebana illa ma kataba Allahu lana huwa mawlana waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almu/minoona

YUSUFALI: Say: “Nothing will happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us: He is our protector”: and on Allah let the Believers put their trust.
PICKTHAL: Say: Naught befalleth us save that which Allah hath decreed for us. He is our Protecting Friend. In Allah let believers put their trust!
SHAKIR: Say: Nothing will afflict us save what Allah has ordained for us; He is our Patron; and on Allah let the believers rely.
KHALIFA: Say, “Nothing happens to us, except what GOD has decreed for us. He is our Lord and Master. In GOD the believers shall trust.”

আয়াতঃ 009.052

আপনি বলুন, তোমরা তো তোমাদের জন্যে দুটি কল্যাণের একটি প্রত্যাশা কর; আর আমরা প্রত্যাশায় আছি তোমাদের জন্যে যে, আল্লাহ তোমাদের আযাব দান করুন নিজের পক্ষ থেকে অথবা আমাদের হস্তে। সুতরাং তোমরা অপেক্ষা কর, আমরাও তোমাদের সাথে অপেক্ষমাণ।
Say: ”Do you wait for us (anything) except one of the two best things (martyrdom or victory); while we await for you either that Allâh will afflict you with a punishment from Himself or at our hands. So wait, we too are waiting with you.”
