সূরা তাওবা বাংলা

YUSUFALI: If they had intended to come out, they would certainly have made some preparation therefor; but Allah was averse to their being sent forth; so He made them lag behind, and they were told, “Sit ye among those who sit (inactive).”
PICKTHAL: And if they had wished to go forth they would assuredly have made ready some equipment, but Allah was averse to their being sent forth and held them back and it was said (unto them): Sit ye with the sedentary!
SHAKIR: And if they had intended to go forth, they would certainly have provided equipment for it, but Allah did not like their going forth, so He withheld them, and it was said (to them): Hold back with those who hold back.
KHALIFA: Had they really wanted to mobilize, they would have prepared for it thoroughly. But GOD disliked their participation, so He discouraged them; they were told, “Stay behind with those who are staying behind.”

আয়াতঃ 009.047

যদি তোমাদের সাথে তারা বের হত, তবে তোমাদের অনিষ্ট ছাড়া আর কিছু বৃদ্ধি করতো না, আর অশ্ব ছুটাতো তোমাদের মধ্যে বিভেদ সৃষ্টির উদ্দেশে। আর তোমাদের মাঝে রয়েছে তাদের গুপ্তচর। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ যালিমদের ভালভাবেই জানেন।
Had they marched out with you, they would have added to you nothing except disorder, and they would have hurried about in your midst (spreading corruption) and sowing sedition among you, and there are some among you who would have listened to them. And Allâh is the All-Knower of the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.).

لَوْ خَرَجُواْ فِيكُم مَّا زَادُوكُمْ إِلاَّ خَبَالاً ولأَوْضَعُواْ خِلاَلَكُمْ يَبْغُونَكُمُ الْفِتْنَةَ وَفِيكُمْ سَمَّاعُونَ لَهُمْ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالظَّالِمِينَ
Law kharajoo feekum ma zadookum illa khabalan walaawdaAAoo khilalakum yabghoonakumu alfitnata wafeekum sammaAAoona lahum waAllahu AAaleemun bialththalimeena

YUSUFALI: If they had come out with you, they would not have added to your (strength) but only (made for) disorder, hurrying to and fro in your midst and sowing sedition among you, and there would have been some among you who would have listened to them. But Allah knoweth well those who do wrong.
PICKTHAL: Had they gone forth among you they had added to you naught save trouble and had hurried to and fro among you, seeking to cause sedition among you; and among you there are some who would have listened to them. Allah is Aware of evil-doers.
SHAKIR: Had they gone forth with you, they would not have added to you aught save corruption, and they would certainly have hurried about among you seeking (to sow) dissension among you, and among you there are those who hearken for their sake; and Allah knows the unjust.
KHALIFA: Had they mobilized with you, they would have created confusion, and would have caused disputes and divisions among you. Some of you were apt to listen to them. GOD is fully aware of the transgressors.

আয়াতঃ 009.048

তারা পূর্বে থেকেই বিভেদ সৃষ্টির সুযোগ সন্ধানে ছিল এবং আপনার কার্যসমূহ উল্টা-পাল্টা করে দিচ্ছিল। শেষ পর্যন্ত সত্য প্রতিশ্রুতি এসে গেল এবং জয়ী হল আল্লাহর হুকুম, যে অবস্থায় তারা মন্দবোধ করল।
Verily, they had plotted sedition before, and had upset matters for you, – until the truth (victory) came and the Decree of Allâh (His Religion, Islâm) became manifest though they hated it.

لَقَدِ ابْتَغَوُاْ الْفِتْنَةَ مِن قَبْلُ وَقَلَّبُواْ لَكَ الأُمُورَ حَتَّى جَاء الْحَقُّ وَظَهَرَ أَمْرُ اللّهِ وَهُمْ كَارِهُونَ
Laqadi ibtaghawoo alfitnata min qablu waqallaboo laka al-omoora hatta jaa alhaqqu wathahara amru Allahi wahum karihoona

YUSUFALI: Indeed they had plotted sedition before, and upset matters for thee, until,- the Truth arrived, and the Decree of Allah became manifest much to their disgust.
PICKTHAL: Aforetime they sought to cause sedition and raised difficulties for thee till the Truth came and the decree of Allah was made manifest, though they were loth.
SHAKIR: Certainly they sought (to sow) dissension before, and they meditated plots against you until the truth came, and Allah’s commandment prevailed although they were averse (from it).
KHALIFA: They sought to spread confusion among you in the past, and confounded matters for you. However, the truth ultimately prevails, and GOD’s plan is carried out, in spite of them.
