قَالَ فَاهْبِطْ مِنْهَا فَمَا يَكُونُ لَكَ أَن تَتَكَبَّرَ فِيهَا فَاخْرُجْ إِنَّكَ مِنَ الصَّاغِرِينَ
Qala faihbit minha fama yakoonu laka an tatakabbara feeha faokhruj innaka mina alssaghireena
YUSUFALI: (Allah) said: “Get thee down from this: it is not for thee to be arrogant here: get out, for thou art of the meanest (of creatures).”
PICKTHAL: He said: Then go down hence! It is not for thee to show pride here, so go forth! Lo! thou art of those degraded.
SHAKIR: He said: Then get forth from this (state), for it does not befit you to behave proudly therein. Go forth, therefore, surely you are of the abject ones.
KHALIFA: He said, “Therefore, you must go down, for you are not to be arrogant here. Get out; you are debased.”
আয়াতঃ 007.014
সে বললঃ আমাকে কেয়ামত দিবস পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দিন।
(Iblîs) said: ”Allow me respite till the Day they are raised up (i.e. the Day of Resurrection).”
قَالَ فَأَنظِرْنِي إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
Qala anthirnee ila yawmi yubAAathoona
YUSUFALI: He said: “Give me respite till the day they are raised up.”
PICKTHAL: He said: Reprieve me till the day when they are raised (from the dead).
SHAKIR: He said: Respite me until the day when they are raised up.
KHALIFA: He said, “Grant me a respite, until the Day of Resurrection.”
আয়াতঃ 007.015
আল্লাহ বললেনঃ তোকে সময় দেয়া হল।
(Allâh) said: ”You are of those allowed respite.”
قَالَ إِنَّكَ مِنَ المُنظَرِينَ
Qala innaka mina almunthareena
YUSUFALI: (Allah) said: “Be thou among those who have respite.”
PICKTHAL: He said: Lo! thou art of those reprieved.
SHAKIR: He said: Surely you are of the respited ones.
KHALIFA: He said, “You are granted a respite.”
আয়াতঃ 007.016
সে বললঃ আপনি আমাকে যেমন উদভ্রান্ত করেছেন, আমিও অবশ্য তাদের জন্যে আপনার সরল পথে বসে থাকবো।
(Iblîs) said: ”Because You have sent me astray, surely I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path.
قَالَ فَبِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لأَقْعُدَنَّ لَهُمْ صِرَاطَكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Qala fabima aghwaytanee laaqAAudanna lahum sirataka almustaqeema
YUSUFALI: He said: “Because thou hast thrown me out of the way, lo! I will lie in wait for them on thy straight way:
PICKTHAL: He said: Now, because Thou hast sent me astray, verily I shall lurk in ambush for them on Thy Right Path.
SHAKIR: He said: As Thou hast caused me to remain disappointed I will certainly lie in wait for them in Thy straight path.
KHALIFA: He said, “Since You have willed that I go astray, I will skulk for them on Your straight path.
আয়াতঃ 007.017
এরপর তাদের কাছে আসব তাদের সামনের দিক থেকে, পেছন দিক থেকে, ডান দিক থেকে এবং বাম দিক থেকে। আপনি তাদের অধিকাংশকে কৃতজ্ঞ পাবেন না।
Then I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left, and You will not find most of them as thankful ones (i.e. they will not be dutiful to You).”
ثُمَّ لآتِيَنَّهُم مِّن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ وَعَنْ أَيْمَانِهِمْ وَعَن شَمَآئِلِهِمْ وَلاَ تَجِدُ أَكْثَرَهُمْ شَاكِرِينَ
Thumma laatiyannahum min bayni aydeehim wamin khalfihim waAAan aymanihim waAAan shama-ilihim wala tajidu aktharahum shakireena
YUSUFALI: “Then will I assault them from before them and behind them, from their right and their left: Nor wilt thou find, in most of them, gratitude (for thy mercies).”
PICKTHAL: Then I shall come upon them from before them and from behind them and from their right hands and from their left hands, and Thou wilt not find most of them beholden (unto Thee).
SHAKIR: Then I will certainly come to them from before them and from behind them, and from their right-hand side and from their left-hand side; and Thou shalt not find most of them thankful.
KHALIFA: “I will come to them from before them, and from behind them, and from their right, and from their left, and You will find that most of them are unappreciative.”
আয়াতঃ 007.018
আল্লাহ বললেনঃ বের হয়ে যা এখান থেকে লাঞ্ছিত ও অপমানিত হয়ে। তাদের যে কেউ তোর পথেচলবে, নিশ্চয় আমি তোদের সবার দ্বারা জাহান্নাম পূর্ণ করে দিব।
(Allâh) said (to Iblîs) ”Get out from this (Paradise) disgraced and expelled. Whoever of them (mankind) will follow you, then surely I will fill Hell with you all.”
