সূরা আল আ’রাফ বাংলা

إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ النِّسَاء بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ
Innakum lata/toona alrrijala shahwatan min dooni alnnisa-i bal antum qawmun musrifoona

YUSUFALI: “For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women : ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds.”
PICKTHAL: Lo! ye come with lust unto men instead of women. Nay, but ye are wanton folk.
SHAKIR: Most surely you come to males in lust besides females; nay you are an extravagant people.
KHALIFA: “You practice sex with the men, instead of the women. Indeed, you are a transgressing people.”

আয়াতঃ 007.082

তাঁর সম্প্রদায় এ ছাড়া কোন উত্তর দিল না যে, বের করে দাও এদেরকে শহর থেকে। এরা খুব সাধু থাকতে চায়।
And the answer of his people was only that they said: ”Drive them out of your town, these are indeed men who want to be pure (from sins)!”

وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلاَّ أَن قَالُواْ أَخْرِجُوهُم مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ
Wama kana jawaba qawmihi illa an qaloo akhrijoohum min qaryatikum innahum onasun yatatahharoona

YUSUFALI: And his people gave no answer but this: they said, “Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!”
PICKTHAL: And the answer of his people was only that they said (one to another): Turn them out of your township. They are folk, forsooth, who keep pure.
SHAKIR: And the answer of his people was no other than that they said: Turn them out of your town, surely they are a people who seek to purify (themselves).
KHALIFA: His people responded by saying, “Evict them from your town. They are people who wish to be pure.”

আয়াতঃ 007.083

অতঃপর আমি তাকে ও তাঁর পরিবার পরিজনকে বাঁচিয়ে দিলাম, কিন্তু তার স্ত্রী। সে তাদের মধ্যেই রয়ে গেল, যারা রয়ে গিয়েছিল। আমি তাদের উপর প্রস্তর বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করলাম।
Then We saved him and his family, except his wife; she was of those who remained behind (in the torment).

فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
Faanjaynahu waahlahu illa imraatahu kanat mina alghabireena

YUSUFALI: But we saved him and his family, except his wife: she was of those who legged behind.
PICKTHAL: And We rescued him and his household, save his wife, who was of those who stayed behind.
SHAKIR: So We delivered him and his followers, except his wife; she was of those who remained behind.
KHALIFA: Consequently, we saved him and his family, but not his wife; she was with the doomed.

আয়াতঃ 007.084

অতএব, দেখ গোনাহগারদের পরিণতি কেমন হয়েছে।
And We rained down on them a rain (of stones). Then see what was the end of the Mujrimûn (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.).

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
Waamtarna AAalayhim mataran faonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatu almujrimeena

YUSUFALI: And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): Then see what was the end of those who indulged in sin and crime!
PICKTHAL: And We rained a rain upon them. See now the nature of the consequence of evil-doers!
SHAKIR: And We rained upon them a rain; consider then what was the end of the guilty.
KHALIFA: We showered them with a certain shower; note the consequences for the guilty.

আয়াতঃ 007.085

আমি মাদইয়ানের প্রতি তাদের ভাই শোয়ায়েবকে প্রেরণ করেছি। সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর। তিনি ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নেই। তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে প্রমাণ এসে গেছে। অতএব তোমরা মাপ ও ওজন পূর্ন কর এবং মানুষকে তাদের দ্রব্যদি কম দিয়ো না এবং ভুপৃষ্টের সংস্কার সাধন করার পর তাতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করো না। এই হল তোমাদের জন্যে কল্যাণকর, যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হও।
And to (the people of) Madyan (Midian), (We sent) their brother Shu’aib. He said: ”O my people! Worship Allâh! You have no other Ilâh (God) but Him. [Lâ ilâha ill-Allâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh)].” Verily, a clear proof (sign) from your Lord has come unto you; so give full measure and full weight and wrong not men in their things, and do not mischief on the earth after it has been set in order, that will be better for you, if you are believers.
