YUSUFALI: No partner hath He: this am I commanded, and I am the first of those who bow to His will.
PICKTHAL: He hath no partner. This am I commanded, and I am first of those who surrender (unto Him).
SHAKIR: No associate has He; and this am I commanded, and I am the first of those who submit.
KHALIFA: “He has no partner. This is what I am commanded to believe, and I am the first to submit.”
আয়াতঃ 006.164
আপনি বলুনঃ আমি কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্য প্রতিপালক খোঁজব, অথচ তিনিই সবকিছুর প্রতিপালক? যে ব্যক্তি কোন গোনাহ করে, তা তারই দায়িত্বে থাকে। কেউ অপরের বোঝা বহন করবে না। অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে সবাইকে প্রতিপালকের কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে। অনন্তর তিনি তোমাদেরকে বলে দিবেন, যেসব বিষয়ে তোমরা বিরোধ করতে।
Say: ”Shall I seek a lord other than Allâh, while He is the Lord of all things? No person earns any (sin) except against himself (only), and no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Then unto your Lord is your return, so He will tell you that wherein you have been differing.”
قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللّهِ أَبْغِي رَبًّا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَلاَ تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ إِلاَّ عَلَيْهَا وَلاَ تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ
Qul aghayra Allahi abghee rabban wahuwa rabbu kulli shay-in wala taksibu kullu nafsin illa AAalayha wala taziru waziratun wizra okhra thumma ila rabbikum marjiAAukum fayunabbi-okum bima kuntum feehi takhtalifoona
YUSUFALI: Say: “Shall I seek for (my) Cherisher other than Allah, when He is the Cherisher of all things (that exist)? Every soul draws the meed of its acts on none but itself: no bearer of burdens can bear of burdens can bear the burden of another. Your goal in the end is towards Allah: He will tell you the truth of the things wherein ye disputed.”
PICKTHAL: Say: Shall I seek another than Allah for Lord, when He is Lord of all things? Each soul earneth only on its own account, nor doth any laden bear another’s load. Then unto your Lord is your return and He will tell you that wherein ye differed.
SHAKIR: Say: What! shall I seek a Lord other than Allah? And He is the Lord of all things; and no soul earns (evil) but against itself, and no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another; then to your Lord is your return, so He will inform you of that in which you differed.
KHALIFA: Say, “Shall I seek other than GOD as a lord, when He is the Lord of all things? No soul benefits except from its own works, and none bears the burden of another. Ultimately, you return to your Lord, then He informs you regarding all your disputes.”
আয়াতঃ 006.165
তিনিই তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে প্রতিনিধি করেছেন এবং একে অন্যের উপর মর্যাদা সমুন্নত করেছেন, যাতে তোমাদের কে এ বিষয়ে পরীক্ষা করেন, যা তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছেন। আপনার প্রতিপালক দ্রুত শাস্তি দাতা এবং তিনি অত্যন্ত ক্ষমাশীল, দয়ালু।
And it is He Who has made you generations coming after generations, replacing each other on the earth. And He has raised you in ranks, some above others that He may try you in that which He has bestowed on you. Surely your Lord is Swift in retribution, and certainly He is OftForgiving, Most Merciful.
وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلاَئِفَ الأَرْضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَكُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ الْعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Wahuwa allathee jaAAalakum khala-ifa al-ardi warafaAAa baAAdakum fawqa baAAdin darajatin liyabluwakum fee ma atakum inna rabbaka sareeAAu alAAiqabi wa-innahu laghafoorun raheemun
YUSUFALI: It is He Who hath made you (His) agents, inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks, some above others: that He may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
PICKTHAL: He it is Who hath placed you as viceroys of the earth and hath exalted some of you in rank above others, that He may try you by (the test of) that which He hath given you. Lo! Thy Lord is swift in prosecution, and Lo! He verily is Forgiving, Merciful.
SHAKIR: And He it is Who has made you successors in the land and raised some of you above others by (various) grades, that He might try you by what He has given you; surely your Lord is quick to requite (evil), and He is most surely the Forgiving, the Merciful.
KHALIFA: He is the One who made you inheritors of the earth, and He raised some of you above others in rank, in order to test you in accordance with what He has given you. Surely, your Lord is efficient in enforcing retribution, and He is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
