YUSUFALI: As to those who reject Faith,- if they had everything on earth, and twice repeated, to give as ransom for the penalty of the Day of Judgment, it would never be accepted of them, theirs would be a grievous penalty.
PICKTHAL: As for those who disbelieve, lo! if all that is in the earth were theirs, and as much again therewith, to ransom them from the doom on the Day of Resurrection, it would not be accepted from them. Theirs will be a painful doom.
SHAKIR: Surely (as for) those who disbelieve, even if they had what is in the earth, all of it, and the like of it with it, that they might ransom themselves with it from the punishment of the day of resurrection, it shall not be accepted from them, and they shall have a painful punishment.
KHALIFA: Certainly, those who disbelieved, if they possessed everything on earth, even twice as much, and offered it as ransom to spare them the retribution on the Day of Resurrection, it would not be accepted from them; they have incurred a painful retribution.
আয়াতঃ 005.037
তারা দোযখের আগুন থেকে বের হয়ে আসতে চাইবে কিন্তু তা থেকে বের হতে পারবে না। তারা চিরস্থায়ী শাস্তি ভোগ করবে।
They will long to get out of the Fire, but never will they get out therefrom, and theirs will be a lasting torment.
يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَخْرُجُواْ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنْهَا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ
Yureedoona an yakhrujoo mina alnnari wama hum bikharijeena minha walahum AAathabun muqeemun
YUSUFALI: Their wish will be to get out of the Fire, but never will they get out therefrom: their penalty will be one that endures.
PICKTHAL: They will wish to come forth from the Fire, but they will not come forth from it. Theirs will be a lasting doom.
SHAKIR: They would desire to go forth from the fire, and they shall not go forth from it, and they shall have a lasting punishment.
KHALIFA: They will want to exit Hell, but alas, they can never exit therefrom; their retribution is eternal.
আয়াতঃ 005.038
যে পুরুষ চুরি করে এবং যে নারী চুরি করে তাদের হাত কেটে দাও তাদের কৃতকর্মের সাজা হিসেবে। আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে হুশিয়ারী। আল্লাহ পরাক্রান্ত, জ্ঞানময়।
Cut off (from the wrist joint) the (right) hand of the thief, male or female, as a recompense for that which they committed, a punishment by way of example from Allâh. And Allâh is AllPowerful, AllWise.
وَالسَّارِقُ وَالسَّارِقَةُ فَاقْطَعُواْ أَيْدِيَهُمَا جَزَاء بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَالاً مِّنَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
Waalssariqu waalssariqatu faiqtaAAoo aydiyahuma jazaan bima kasaba nakalan mina Allahi waAllahu AAazeezun hakeemun
YUSUFALI: As to the thief, Male or female, cut off his or her hands: a punishment by way of example, from Allah, for their crime: and Allah is Exalted in power.
PICKTHAL: As for the thief, both male and female, cut off their hands. It is the reward of their own deeds, an exemplary punishment from Allah. Allah is Mighty, Wise.
SHAKIR: And (as for) the man who steals and the woman who steals, cut off their hands as a punishment for what they have earned, an exemplary punishment from Allah; and Allah is Mighty, Wise.
KHALIFA: The thief, male or female, you shall mark their hands as a punishment for their crime, and to serve as an example from GOD. GOD is Almighty, Most Wise.
আয়াতঃ 005.039
অতঃপর যে তওবা করে স্বীয় অত্যাচারের পর এবং সংশোধিত হয়, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তার তওবা কবুল করেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, দয়ালু।
But whosoever repents after his crime and does righteous good deeds (by obeying Allâh), then verily, Allâh will pardon him (accept his repentance). Verily, Allâh is OftForgiving, Most Merciful.
فَمَن تَابَ مِن بَعْدِ ظُلْمِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Faman taba min baAAdi thulmihi waaslaha fa-inna Allaha yatoobu AAalayhi inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun
YUSUFALI: But if the thief repents after his crime, and amends his conduct, Allah turneth to him in forgiveness; for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
PICKTHAL: But whoso repenteth after his wrongdoing and amendeth, lo! Allah will relent toward him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
SHAKIR: But whoever repents after his iniquity and reforms (himself), then surely Allah will turn to him (mercifully); surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
KHALIFA: If one repents after committing this crime, and reforms, GOD redeems him. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
